After months of waiting, my local Zellers finally ( ) got the Summer 2012 sets on the 1st of August, so today I went and got myself a 6866 Wolverine's Deadpool Chopper Showdown. Not a bad set. (For a Marvel property, anyway. )

Hmm... Harleen Quinzelle and Prison Outfit Joker. Could there be a new Arkham Asylum in our future?

Does anyone know which incarnation of Robin it's supposed to be? The website says it's Tim Drake, but the Acrobat Suit would suggest it's Dick Grayson. Plus, I think at one point we see the Dynamic Duo in their civvies, and it clearly identifies him as Dick. That said, Nightwing is also in the game (assuming preorder), so... Gah! I don't know!

I was already going to pick up the hearse just 'cause vampires, but I now want it even more! Printed coffin, GITD stickers, and the Renfield driver minifig (the box says "Zombie Driver", but I know in my heart of hearts that's Zombie Renfield)... I did not know they could fit so much win into such a small set.

I am convinced it's a minifig's arm rising out of the ground. ('Cause, you know... zombies.) Edit: damn, someone beat me to it. But, yeah, that is what it is.

I've never been much of a Star Wars fan, so I'll stick with steampunk.

Gotta love steampunk. 1) I've been in three games so far and have a perfect record of not getting shot/blown up/poisoned/lynched. I want to see if I can go four for four. 2) Nothing major coming up. I have no social life to speak of. 3) Bob's combination investigator/jailer/vigilante/janitor/bomb/doublevoter in Yakuza Family was... Sorry, I still can't keep a straight face when I think about it.

As an avowed DC fan, I'm embarrassed to say I might just pick up this set. It's not flashy/ostentatious like the Avengers stuff, and, though I'm not intricately familiar with the characters (though I do have a basic knowledge; know your enemy and what all), I do know snazzy minifigs when I see 'em, and damn if these minifigs ain't snazzy. I am ashamed.

I fall into the third category, but I still think I'll watch this one from the sidelines. I've run out of hypotheses to demonstrate. Good luck to all who get in, though!

I think after the previous killer was lynched, a new role emerged/was created and passed onto another Mutineer, thus creating the Red Ninja. Perhaps the Red Ninja role was a condition that would come into effect should the Black Ninja be caught.
