Nice building the colours work really well. I agree with HQ about the arches and also the studs on the roof. Im liking the look of the building on the right in the spoiler, can't wait to see more.

Book III - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

I must admit there's one or two star wars helms that could be used in a medieval setting, but it has to be the right place right time thing. Gonna look through all my star wars helms and see if anything works. -

Great fig milo, ignore Titus fleshies are the best. I think the helmet would work better for nocturnus but that's my own opinion. Shame most medieval helmets are so expensive now. -
That what I thinking henjin, building a shipyard with the skeleton of a ship init. Or the could do something different, either way expect some mocs where im selling hamanne steel and weapons. Up Avalonia.

Great interior, the lighting really sets it off. Really enjoyed the story and how you weaved people into it. Loving the figs being there. I suppose I'll have to build a ship now then. Wonder if I should do that for the challenge?

Great build there, loads and loads of details. The docks are nicely done and the markets bustling with goods and figs. But I love the gnome balloon the most. Varlyrio looks like a good place to trade , my sig fig might pop across for a build or two.

Book III - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
cablefoxley replied to Henjin_Quilones's topic in Guilds of Historica
So I'll throw my lot in with Avalonia again but with a different sigfig. Abrecan Foxley; He is the leader of the smiths of Hamanne. This guild of smiths helps rule the river city of Hamanne and helps supply the forces of Avalonia with high quality steel. Known for its plentiful watermills and water side residences, Hamanne looks to expand its influence outside of Avalonia. Expanding its trading network through out the guilds and bedecking the city in the wealth it acquires. Abrecan is konwn for his negotiating skills and has sped up production of weapons and armour using the power of the waterwheel. His money and influence gain many things for the people. But is he acquiring to much power? I'll try and get task 2 done ASAP. Looking forward to building many mocs for book 3 and for task 4. -

Welcome to Avalonia. Nice figs. -
Nice figs there @KevinyWu. Need to take a pic of my small band of warriors.

Superb castle there. Loving the rock work and textures. The path is something I have been trying to get right for a while, yours looks great mine a little to shallow. The steeple is a little off putting I think because of the different arch heights and the roofs not being quite aligned. Top stuff keep building.

Great intro pombe. Welcome to the guilds. Lovely nocty build.

That's a great roof technique there. Also loving the firewood, it adds some detail. Maybe something else on the house like a balcony, or some more windows would make it even better. The gap in the roof is more historically correct than a chimney, especially in lower end properties. Nice touch.

Very well written kai, flows nicely and clears things up for me. You should be an author.

It's good to know that Avalonia task 4 will be ongoing. I'll restart building on one or two of my mocs. I'll third what mccoyed and kai say about putting all the lore of goh together. Alot of the story seems spread out and squirreled away in places. I think to get this done it'll have to be a group effort. I'll help if others will.

Lovely clean lines there. The contrast works well between the bleys. Has a Scottish feel to it, especially with how stout it is.

[AoM] Wall Phase III: The yearly badger hunt
cablefoxley replied to Puvel's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice moc. Using that wall technique looks brilliant on a large wall like that. How many bricks did it take? Good bit of fun with the badgers as well. -
Iv stopped working on a few mocs I was doing, as I'm waiting to see what book 3 will be about. Most of the others are doing the same. Maybe we should have a quick comp to liven things up. Deadline August 1st. What about everyone does a quick 12 x 12 scene with their new or updated sigfig? Some people already have done it so they should be included. Winner gets a title or something as a prize.
