  1. Thanks, I'm glad you all enjoyed the story and the outside pics. As you can probably tell, I'm not much of a storyteller, you should see BEAvER about long stories! Ah... well there's not much of the dio left I'm afraid. I can try and rebuild it though. BTW, Thanks for the feedback, and I'm very glad I'm being transferred! I think it's best if Sin is moved too! As for the lighted SaberSaw, it was a pure accident, I didn't realize until I looked at the pics and a mistake became a good effect!
  2. Sin: I hate Endor. Sir, can I get the next shuttle off this stinker of a planet? Nom Carver: Not until we've cleared an area for the shield generator. Scout, you over there, keep strimming you slacker! Nom Carver: And you, with the SaberSaw, clear that tree out of my way! Stormtrooper: Yes sir! Nom Carver: Good work. Sin: What's that sir, in the treetops? Nom Carver: It's an Ewok glider! GET DOWN! Nom Carver: It got a scout with a pebble it threw! That's gotta hurt! Nom Carver: Lord Tyrus, do you copy? Are you in your Low Altitude Deforestation Vehicle? Sergeant Tyrus: It's Sergeant Tyrus actually, the Empire promoted me for my efforts at Sullust, anyway, of course I'm in my LADV! Nom Carver: We need you down here, we got a glider and one of us is already hit! Sergeant Tyrus: Certainly sir, I'm on my way! Sergeant Tyrus: He's in my sights! Sergeant Tyrus: Got 'im! A little while later... Nom Carver: Thank you Sergeant Tyrus, you saved mine and my squad's lives I will ensure that High Command knows about your efforts. Sergeant Tyrus: Thank you sir. Nom Carver: We must continue with the mission. I will see you later... Sin: If we ever get off this mudball...
  3. I'm impressed with with your storytelling, your should write a book; 'The Trooper with a Conscience'! Anyway, that TIE Bomber is brilliantly accurate and the tree roots look fantastic. Great work! However your loyalties seem weak, and I know you know what we Imperials do to deserters...
  4. The transport ship looks amazing and BIG, but you built TWO! Love it!
  5. I love the forced perspective, good job!
  6. I love the robot a the beginning, and the details on the floor is really effective!
  7. Ah, you've updated the build. Shame in some ways, I didn't think the other one needed to become a freebuild, but this one is very good as well.
  8. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL, how could I have not seen this before! The scale and detail are crazy, and you rendered it with POV-Ray as well! Must have taken years! It took me 6 hours to render 500 pieces, you used 70,000 pieces... Well done!
  9. How could they....! Why can't some people be satisfied with the 'Blow-Up' feature in LDD?!
  10. Another great TIE, CCOOK!
  11. Thanks for the review, that mini astro-droid looks cute! Is the Stormtrooper helmet a new mould, or the old mould with a new print? I agree with others, it looks ugly and well... too detailed? I think Lego prints look better when they're simpler.
  12. Ah, OK. Just realized what a fool I've been ... Can't get much older than 'Duke' (2000 posts) and 'Grand Duke (4000 posts)!
  13. You are so mean, they're newbies!
  14. There's A LOT more than that, remember to click 'Show All'
  15. Well if you're promoting, Join Shadows Of Nar Eurobrikka, the best Star Wars role-playing game on the 'net! May the force be with you!
  16. I put them that way too... But I thought I was an imperial?
  17. It's kinda funny that most of the posts in a newbie forum have been made by non-newbies... Anyway, like others, I'm just going to post before it goes, and don't get me started on the practise/practise thing, I have to reach for the dictionary or Google before I use the word... Stupid English language. WAFFLE WAFFLE WAFFLE.............. TALK TALK TALK............................... CHIN-WAG CHIN-WAG CHIN-WAG.... And by the way, I like that Bionicle/Hero beartrapper!
  18. Wow... Those curves are amazing! I love the simple white and grey colour scheme.
  19. I disagree with what others have said, the yellow does look appropriate. As for the 'Keep Out' sign and Ewoks not being able to speak English, why would they write it? It's a message FOR the Ewoks from the Empire!
  20. Yeah, I saw! I knocked up a quick tester, of course, the ears would be brown, and the body print doesn't exist on a tan torso... EDIT: Or does it?!
  21. Like Disco, I know I really don't belong here but I think I have the answer to the Bothan minifigure question. Expanding on Donnie Bricko's idea, I think that Chima's Lavertus head would be good, but with LoTR / Hobbit Gundabad Orc hairpiece (with ears). The ears have a slightly different colour print, but it shouldn't be noticeable. If I could, I would try and post an image, but I don't have either piece... P.S: Please don't shoot me! ...Or we WILL hire assassins and will tell them YES disintegrations!
  22. Waaaaay better than LEGO's version, looks really menacing, especially from the top.
  23. Another great review, Lobot, this is probably the best of the polybags we got this spring.
