  1. I don't know about that. The Xerion is an amazing set, and that was the first from the CLAAS brand. The D11T is big and complex, and there hasn't been a CAT set before. Why couldn't the John Deere set - especially a tractor this big - be the same size as the Xerion, with the same level of complexity? This set is very weirdly scaled - if TLG wanted this level of functionality, why not just make it like the Mini Xerion? That tractor has functions relative to its size, unlike this one. This one is stuck in a kind of inbetweeny limbo in terms of scale, and the least TLG could have done is put in an engine!
  2. Funny you should mention 42070, seeing as this set uses the same red side/grey side orientation technique in the rear axles.
  3. Might build myself one! Although I only have the chains from the Hailfire Droid going spare, so it's gonna be a bit rusty.
  4. Not sure white is the best choice of colour though. Light grey would look better. And this thing needs a B-model! Off-roader with a spare tyre would be cool. Other than that...
  5. Nope, you gotta turn it yourself. You also have to supply the "bzzz" noise as well.
  6. Trailer looks like absolute puke and that giant sticker on the roof is making me angry. And the tractor has a grand total of one function. When a horribly basic trailer has more features than a tractor, something is wrong. Where's the engine?
  7. TLG better release info on it soon, otherwise it's time to send 'em a "Dear John"...
  8. Great-looking model, tons of functions. Cool stuff! I like the "Tortoise and the Hare" modes for the piston engine as well - it's great when TLG decide to make the most boring part of a Technic model more interesting! Note the "Taki" branding as well - somebody's a fan of Soul Calibur... (...that, or it's just another spelling of "Tacchi")
  9. So it's Light Azure. Very cool, gonna pick this up.
  10. "There's no way you can stop... THE SCHOOL OF ROCKET!"
  11. Very clever and looks superb. Great job.
  12. Not gonna lie, I was thinking of that, but it does look like more of a solid base. There's no gap under the undercarriage either, which would surely be present if it had wheels. Again, it's a stock picture of a waste handling crane that most likely does not represent the actual set.
  13. 42053 doesn't use dual cylinders and that can lift just fine. Seeing as this set seems to be a stripped-back version, I very much doubt it uses more than one piston for the lift.
  14. The wonderful thing about haulers is that they work at any scale. It could be a small or mid-sized set; it doesn't necessarily have to be a flagship. Look at the Deere.
  15. Volvo now owns the Terex ADT range and has rebranded it as Rokbak. It'd be great to see a set based on their largest model, the RA40.
  16. Stonewars has priced this 🐕 at €99.99.
  17. Interesting that the page shows a stationary material handler since the description mentions wheels. I know it's a stock silhouette, but still.
  18. The chainsaw has "ChainSAW" written on the side. Y'know, for anyone who may mistake it for a soup strainer.
