Funnily enough, as the standout in that list, the LR 13000 is also the only machine of the three not primarily designed for mining. It's designed for constructing power plants, refineries, and offshore platforms.
This set would have worked better as an 8288-sized model. The boom proportions and track shaping would have been much easier to achieve at that scale.
Plus 8288 is waaaaaaaaaay overdue for a redo.
I'm disturbed by the fact that, excepting the polybag, there have only been two heavy equipment-related retail sets this year.
And that's counting the tiny dump truck.
I think I read somewhere (could even have been on this thread) that this π might have been pushed back to an October release. Not sure on that though.
