  1. Some rather unconventional parts usage, especially the large steering wheel on the front.
  2. I like the way the pump's been integrated! Took me a minute to find it. Also, 3L axle joiners in green.
  3. Buncha June sets have been revealed on Brickset, so I can't imagine the wait for images is gonna go for much longer.
  4. I'm not sure how much larger the boom can actually be and still fit on the box. The hook is just about going off the side as it is!
  5. Reddit discussion here. The general opinion of this set isn't much more positive there than it is here!
  6. That's the pitfall of licensed sets. They have to look accurate, which this set doesn't, really. And like you said earlier, why bother if it can't be done?
  7. Not sure how I feel about the red sections of boom. I know they're accurate to some versions of the real thing, but I think a pure yellow boom would look better. Well, a longer yellow boom anyways. Seriously, chibi boom or what?
  8. The boom arrangement looks right to me. Length is wrong though. Wrong amount of weights as well. Think those might've been victims of the downsizing.
  9. Bloody hell, it doesn't even fit on the front of the box!
  10. Yeah, that's consistent with its real-world appearance. You have a link?
  11. Well, then, you'll just have to bite the bullet.
  12. Possibly because of the materials and expense of actually putting them together. They are pretty complex.
  13. I particularly hate it when I've completed a complex sub-assembly, thinking all of the moulding marks are underneath - then seeing that it needs to be flipped.
  14. There are some really cool entries this time round! Picking the best was tough. 4: 10 10: 6 5: 4 1: 3 11: 2 3: 1
  15. Some of the beams in the hood have the moulding mark facing up. I could never leave them like that!
  16. I wonder how TLG has replicated the cab shape of the 948L-II. Also, having taken a good look at this 🐕, I see various areas of bodywork that would be well replicated using angled panels from the 9R and Dragon.
  17. He's been working at TLG for a while now. He designs the Monster Jam trucks and also designed the Volvo polybag loader.
  18. Also, the TotalEnergies branding. Oil and gas exploration giant? Not very green, TLG...
  19. If it's anything like my old Peugeot 308, it'll need constant repairs.
  20. Wonder if this 🐕 is gonna have the mahoosive track links from the D11T.
