  1. That is a shame. I thought it might be the single bucket from 42061, or a new part. But nah, it's just the bucket from 42122 doubled up. Loads of those bloody car and off-roader sets get new parts all the time, but TLG couldn't spring for a new bucket? Seriously? Also, the charging station. Yes, it's accurate, required for the use of the excavator in the real world, and looks nice, but functionally it's little more than a box that takes up way too much of the part count.
  2. I meant the linkage between the bucket and the boom. But yes, you are right about the 8294 mechanics. To be honest, I'd have preferred to see a setup with the LAs from the CAT.
  3. This 🐕 looks seriously cool! I know the boom on the excavator looks a little bit skeletal, but I kind of like that! It's reminiscent of another excavator/material handler, 42006. Shame the Volvo logo isn't more prominent, though. Also, the logo looks different compared to other sets, which I'm not overly enthused about. Charging station! Ooh, I love it when my speculation turns out to be correct! Sucks up a good slice of the parts, however. The FMX ain't a tipper! Yah boo sucks! But at least it looks good - I like that TLG used the older version of the truck, as it's the one I much prefer. White, though? Too Arocs-like. Yellow or blue would have worked better. Double wheels, though! Yippee! Overall, pretty great, but there are some missed opportunities here. Also, comparison shots with the EW160E are in order!
  4. June NINJAGO sets have been revealed on Brickset. Can't imagine Technic is far behind!
  5. Very nice! Unusual tyre choice - would the balloon version not work better?
  6. You mean the Nook Stop?
  7. Given that the Perseverance rover and the Deere 948L-II were revealed on May 1st last time, it's probably gonna be the same this time around.
  8. Also great to see the wolf mould! Whitney when?
  9. Town Hall was a logical choice and the airport is an integral part of NH, so I'm pretty pleased! Not sure how I feel about another Isabelle variant in place of a new villager, but I love Isabelle's autumn look, so yay!
  10. From what I could find, there was an image on the Galaxus site but it was taken down.
  11. That's not much of a "small part" of Gotham. More of a "microscopic fragment", really.
  12. August Dreamzzz sets have dropped on Brickset, so hopefully the wait will not be much longer!
  13. Wow, you just love pounding that into the floor, huh?
  14. According to Brickcatch and its overseas equivalents, 42175 is set for release in June, rather than August. Given we know nothing about the rover that's actually slated to release in June, that sounds credible.
  15. The rabbits would admittedly make sense, given that TLG already has the mould. But they do have the squirrel mould as well - Static would be an excellent choice!
  16. KK has been teased, so I reckon he'll appear. As much as I love Isabelle, a different villager would be great. Ankha, maybe?
  17. International Museum Day is next month. Maybe then?
  18. TLG's rumour mill is weird lately; we saw images of the March Technic sets before the January wave.
  19. Finally tracked down a copy of 77049 yesterday! Several shops had a healthy supply of the Bunnie set as well.
  20. We don't even know how many rear axles this 🐕 has yet.
  21. 42053 uses 1166 parts. I could see the FMX using around the same amount.
