I was running the mag through the checkout and couldn't believe it when I saw the price - £5.99. So, a smaller and less detailed model, and repeated features/puzzles, for a higher cost. Not a great business model. I do like the wrecking ball, don't get me wrong, but the Mars Perseverance rover polybag would definitely have been better value.

The magazine mentions that as well! He also designed the tyres for 42160.

Found a copy of the latest mag lurking at my local supermarket! The wrecking ball was designed by Yoel Mazur - haven't heard of him before.

Nice to see more teal, but this really feels like a hodgepodge of the polybags that have gone before, particularly the helicopter and the forklift.

So, are there two Technic mags this year?

There's a "water vehicle" listed as an upcoming set. We don't know what it is exactly yet.

I can spoil that for you - it's another bleedin' CAR.

I'm thinking the tyres are for giving the tracks some grip on smooth surfaces.

Oh yeah, TLG are going polybag-free now. EDIT: It has just dawned on me that this build will only come with the magazine and not be available as a separate set. Seriously, TLG will do anything to make an extra buck.

Not overly impressed, considering how detailed and/or complex previous polybags have been. But hey, another plant set, so there's that. Yay, I suppose. ALSO - The text next to the wrecking ball reads "Find out more".
