He never said he didn't like F1, just agredd that it some cases it can be repeditive. Anyways, what Ferrari is that? A concept? I've never seen it before.

Actually, the drift events At Infineon Raceway (Searpoint) they haven't had a car show for the last 3 yrs. Well, i take that back. They do, but its for the Scions only. With the addition of two Rear wheel drive converted Scion TC's, the Scion scene has blown up at drift events. Honda's have pretty much gone the way of the dinosaur (at least at drift events, or until some dumb megablocks converts his civic to RWD) So there isn't nearly as much "Rice" as say Hot Import Nights, or an Import Drag racing event. (Which are also dieing out) That's what i really like about drifting. The diversity of the cars. You have an AE86 corolla going against a Dodge Viper, or Scion with a V8 going against a Mustang. I love it! I love F1 racing. I could listen to them screaming at 18,000 RPM all day long. But what i think bugged me about the IRL car was where i was sitting. It was the exact same sound again and again. maybe if i were in at a different part of the track were i could hear them downshift and accelerate it would have been different. IN fact, i know i would have enjoyed it more if that were the case.
  3. I'll be honest. I don't know. Though I follow F1 regularly and i can say I've never seen a contraption such as that in the pit area. But that's not to say it doesn't truly exist. My honest opinion is that TLC just through it in there to take up space. Kind of like having some spare parts. Sad though, cause the Scuderia rig is IMO the one of the best sets TLC has ever made.

Ok guys. So last week i showed some pics of the Formula D drift competition. At the same time, on the same track and venue, they had the Indy car series practicing and qualifying for the coming race on Sunday. The drift course and pits were on turn 4 and 7,and IRL was on the main paddocks and grandstands. Basically how it worked was the drifters used turn 4 and 7 for the competition, but after their practice and qualifying runs, the went back to the pits and the turn 4 and 7 were then opened up for the IRL guys (and girls) to run on. The track provided a little bus to go back and forth between the drift and IRL sections. otherwise it would have been a good 15 minute walk uphill, both ways between each event. I really went there for the drifting, but since the IRL cars were there and since i have never seen them in person, i thought i should take advantage of the opportunity. Unfortunately they wanted and additional $30 for a pit pass on top of the $50 admission fee. So no pictures of the pit paddocks. I tried to get as good of pics as i could of the cars on the track, but it was kinda hard. Ok, so i stayed in the grandstands and watched the IRL cars for about 10 minutes. Mainly cause that's all i could stand. First off these cars were loud. And i don't mean ground rumbling V8 loud, i mean ear piercing, make your ears bleed loud. Second, it was verrrrrrrrrrrrry repeditive. There all geared the same, sound exactly the same and look nearly identical. So they all shifted at the exact same points, sound exactly the same, and if the cars weren't painted differently you'd swear the same car was rounding the track. I could only take it for so long.
  5. I just saw that hplegolover91 posted his email. If anyone still has there doubts then i still say email TLC yourself and see if you get a simular response.
  6. My sisters, nephews, big brother, mother in law, who was married to my cousins sister twice removed, confirmed what my uncle's son, who married my 2ND cousin, who walks the dog of TLC's head designer overheard at the last Lego executive meeting... That Lego has definitely, surly decided that they will be reviving the Harry Potter line when, and if they see fit sometime in the not so very far away future if and when they feel like. Just playing around guys. I don't care whether or not the line comes back or not. But in all seriousness, for those that are calling foul play about this... Why not just write to TLC yourselves and ask what the deal is with Harry Potter? I mean if hplegolover91 is telling the truth and he was told via email that the HP line will be coming back, then I'm sure whom ever writes to them with a similar question will get a similar response he did no? No reason they would tell him somthing different.
  7. Actually the answer was quite obvious.... You pretty much answered your own question. Megs was brought back to life once. A second time (even if he is resurrected as Galvatron) would be playing on the same premises as the first. So in short, yes. Megatron lived to make way for a 3rd movie. Back on Topic, i saw "The pest" with John Legwazamo. I never stopped laughing. One of his best next to Spawn.
  8. Did you really feel it nessasary to start a thread because no one else cared to coment or shared the same views of a movie you liked? Does it bug you that much?
  9. Ya, i heard about that. Nothing to investigate really. Even if it were true i don't see how there going to prove it. Seems to me the piquet family is just bitter for Nelson being let go. Though i doagree that Piquet had inferior equpiment to ensure there wouldn't be a repeat of the Hamiltion/Alsonso rivialry.
  10. very interesting. I'm curious to see this used in a real working chassis tosee if the gearbox would work like an automatic should. For example, if going up a steep incline would the gearbox downshift? Would the vehicle sstart off in a lower gear and then upshift when it reaches a certain speed? namly a speed fast enough to overcome the resistance that keeps the gearbox in the lower gear?
  11. Not a bad race, but not a great one either. Highlight of course was Force India finally scoring some points and above all getting a podium! Well done boys! I have a big and i mean BIG problem with Kimi winning. Mainly cause after looking over the replays,he not only gained a position when he went off track after turn 5, but by him coming back on track,it caused a traffic jam which seemed to be one of the factors that caused Gerson, Hamilton, Button, and Buemi to crash. also, why was there no penalty for Kimi when he went off track in the first corner??? He certainly gained positions there. And even if he didn't, he had an advantage cause he was able to avoid the mess that was in turn one. Even the commentators were surprised that no action was taken for at least the turn one incident.
  12. Though i still like cats, dogs are superior! Oh, and cats can chew up Lego's just as easy as dogs. And since they like tall places such as shelves and such, mocs can get messed up that your trying to hide up high. So both have there advantages, and disadvantages.
  13. Current title: "Has a ball of string, and is not afraid to use it." -Due to a comment i made in a thread about the a"secret mod thread". Some members felt stalking moderator "fun. So told them if they felt that was entertainment, i had a ball of string that i could let them use.
  14. I'd really like to see some kind of twin rotor copter like a Chinook. As for the forwarder, this has alot of potential, as its somthing we haven't seen TLC do before.
  15. Me 5150 Cruiser agree bout rear wheels on trailer! prateek give gooooooddd sugjestion! Look forward to crane design too!

  20. And so what if he is? Thats what the whole point of poasting your mocs right? Part of the reason is to show them off. Wether or not it is part of a layout, its very impressive. I'm with CP5670 and ParallaxScroll. NO need for people to hate.
  21. First off, great mocs. I especaily like your flat bed. The working bed is icing on the cake for an already great design. As for your coment on American trucks not being the most attractive,.. I'd agree 100%, but only when it comes to flat nose trucks. European trucks defenatly have the edge of their American counterparts. The mighty Scania trucks of europe are some of the most beautiful trucks in the world.
  22. Race weekend is upon us, and McLaren is top in friday practice! Though that is just practice, but McLaren is running faster thatn they ecpected, which is great!
  23. Ahh, the Nautica theme. One of TLC's finest! For me its old school all the way baby!! 6542 is superior in a very way! Exactly! One other positive aspect of the ship is that the bottom floor had compartments that opend for storage of adional cargo. Man i can still remember sitting on the floor docking the ship at the port! I made additional trailers for the cargo ship, and the crane and its containers were also compatable with Victory cup racers! This rig used to show up at my port many times to transport the racers across the pond! Aw, the memories... Thank you for this fantasic topic Klaus Dieter! We need more of them!
  24. Ok. So, i've seen a couple previews for this movie, and i have to say they look alot better than the you tube clips. Also, after talking to my niece who loves these types of movies, it seems this movie is going to be alot darker and a bit more adult than some of the previews are leading many to believe. I might just go see this after all.
