PG just means that it "parental guidance suggested". It doesn't mean its not meant for kids. The reason its PG was because of the beasts. Not because of inappropriate material.

Umm... Thats basicly what your doing on every website/forum. Including this one. Talking to strangers. Agreed. So because she gave you her email "she" (if it truely was a girl you were talking to) doesn't have much of a life? Keep in mind also that you visted the same site as she.

How about a series of Aulstrain "Road Train" Semi trucks? 8 wide (or six ) semi trucks with triple (or more) trailers! I think that would give great playability for kids. Heck, you can even include it in an "Outback Theme' of some sort.

I can agree with everything you said. I think the confusion lied in that i thought you meant anyone with a relatively "nice" car such as a Mercedes means there living beyond there means and is a waste of money. But after your explanation that doesn't seem to be the way you think. Thanks for clearing that up.

I could careless about emissions testing. As long as you keep in mind that at somepoint you will need to get your vehicle back to stock (if you mod it that is) then your fine. I don't understand your last coment. So those that drive nice vehicles have extra money to burn? I have workedvery hard for the things i own, as i'm sure you have. You don't need gobs of cash to have nice things either, just know when to spend what ever amount of money you currently have.

Very cool. That's nice that it was a little project for you and your family. Those are always fun when you can take your time on things like that. even if they can be a pain in your big behind! -
I remember this. I have a revel plastic snap-toeghter model kit of it! I remember the movie producers got ahold of them before they were officaly avaible to the public. Great looking expedtion type vehicles. I remeber a while seeing someone that took a stock one and modified it to resemble the movie car. In fact, that was there hobby. Husband and wife if i remember correctly. They did the Ghost busters car (well, they used a Subaru Legacy), and the Jeep from the first Jussic Park movie.

How long have you had the deloren and how has it been to you? I mean as far as reliability? I had a friend that had one years ago. If he was lucky to find replacment parts they were extremely expensive. -
What kind of car do you want to get should be the real question. And what do you mean by "environmentally friendly"? Do you mean good on gas or literally less pollutants?

I'll bet my lunch that you'll see a PS4 sooner than you think. Technology gets more advanced every year with picture quality as well as game graphics. Sony will have no choice but to get working on a replacement. Maybe not by 2011, but definitely not in no ten year time either.

Damn... I was hoping the mini excavator would kep the green colors in the Preliminary pics. Oh well. -
If you think about it, if the doors are welded shut, then you couldn't role up the windows anyways cause you couldn't get out. Or in for that matter.

These were the 09' sets. Not 2010'. 2010's have yet to be released. My vote goes to the Combine Harvester. big yes, but great detail and very orignal. Though to be fair, i don't have most of the others. Somy opinion could change if i were to get any.

Never said it wasn't original. IN fact i said the opposite. What i said was that i felt the story line was very lacking. For the movie having such a serious tone it still felt very cheesy. There were quite a few things that just didn't make any sense. I also didn't care for the whole That's exactly how i felt after watching. I thought it was one of the best movies of 08'.

Everything drops for me come F1 race weekends!! Glad your enjoy the drama and politics that is F1 racing!

Nah. Your ride wouldn't have any issues really. Its the Riced out honda's and cars that bring alot of attention to themselfs that the CHP target. My passat was modded alot more than yours and i never had any issues with law enforcment. Just impounded. Some cited have a policy if the car doesn't have its emission equipment intact or an illeagalengine swap in conjuction with being caught street racing (Sacramento county for example) will crush your car. But they ussualy only do this is you have prior records of street racing and your vehicle is a major moving violation.

Intill winter comes around that is. I don't ride myself, but i have outfitted them for police duty.... First bike is a Harely Davidsion Road king and the white one is a Honda ST13000. The Harley was defenatly easier to build. The honda didn't have much room to run wires. -
True. After some "investigating" the laws i meantioned seem to only be for a select few states. Illinios not being one of them. Your lucky Polish Guy. If it were Ca, then your ride surely would have been sent to the crusher!!

Well the way his car sits now, its illegal. If he were to get pulled over and there is evidence of modified emissions on the vehicle, then it can be towed on the spot. Nope. As of july last year it is now mandatory that they run your vehicleon a smog dyno. They want to make sure your car passes while its under a load and not just a simple ECU scan while reving the engine to 2200 RPM. No matter how you cut it, your going to need to put your cr back to stock. You need to pass the visual inspection (no cats, no pass) as ell as the ECU scan and actual test. All the air pumps need to be put back as well as all the vacum hoses. (i once was told by a smog tech that i needed to disconect my Boost gauge casue it tapped into the vacum hoses ). I doubt they'll go this far, but the U.S. is getting stricter and stricter concerning emissions.

Hi Paradosis. First my deepest regrets to you. I'm sorry you had to through what you did. I'm not sure if your a religious man, but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. You may find out later than sooner, but in due time, everything will fall back into place for you. Just be strong. Now, as for the hobby. If you truly like the set, then i say go for it. Deals come up all the time, but its Rawley ever when your "looking" for one. Like you said, you missed the sale when you didn't have the money, or desire to purchase Lego. I'm like you and many others. I use Lego (among other hobbies) to "get away" from normal life. And to me, that's nothing you can put a price tag on. I suffered a major accident over a year ago and am still paying the medical bills today. I have not been able to make any major LEGO purchases since. It sucks cause I'm constantly reminded about the difficulties when you have to pass the Lego Ilse every time you go to the store to get the essentials. I received some gift cards for Christmas last year, and used the last one to get the Racers Lamborghini LP560-4. I did a hut in every TRU, target, and wall mart in a 60 mile radius. After a week I gave up searching. Well last week i found it in a Target store buried some cleaning products! Let me tell you. Putting that together was the best feeling. If you have the means to get your mind off the situation at hand and feel it will benefit you emotionally, then go for it. The feeling you get after the set is done and complete will out weight waiting for the deal any day.

I wouldn't nessasarly say its the death of Renault. Just think of it like when Alonso left for McLaren in 07'. THey'll come back from the whole scandal thing. Every team does. They all face one sooner or later.

Very cool! I really like the Fire helocopter. It complments the Coast Guard copter very well. I also really like the Fire truck with boat. Reminds me of this.. I like that it has suspention and out riggers. Very cool!

All the new sets look fantastic! Fire station... Great detail, great vehicles, and more modern design. I also spot a decent interior! Very cool! Also looks like the main fire engine can hold more than one mini fig. That's great! Airport.... This is great! Great plane, great terminal, great vehicles and accessories, and a very realistic looking tower! Tanker truck.... Beautiful! Very impressed with this set overall. I would have preferred 8 wide, but that's OK. Still a great set. will have to get two so i can make a super-B trailer combo. Small jet... Very nice. Curious to see the interior of this. Nice alternative to the larger jets. Fire boat... Not bad. Very similar to the Coast guard boat but with more accessories. I have to say i find it a bit amusing that everyone was so quick to dismiss the airport, but then when they find it includes a hawaiian shirt torso all of a sudden its "not so bad" . Perhaps TLC should include one in every set to keep naysayers at bay.

For the 360, everything is stored on the harddrive. That hard drive is also removeable. No need to use a USB hard drive to back up your saves. When my Xbox went out i just walked into Best Buy, told them it didn't work, handed in my warranty card and they handed me a brand new system off the shelf. Never had an issue.
