Exactly what I was about to say! ;) If I get to MOCing something I usually know what I want to build/achieve weeks before I start modelling. In the modelling fase I just try to find the best pieces to reach my goals going through several options untill I find the solution. When the model is virtually complete and I'm satisfied with the result, I order the needed pieces on BrickLink and build the model :) A new MOC is virtually almost finished

Ow this is cool! The snowy landscaoe is just fantastic, great work on that! Lol at the white clippers but the effect is there ;) The whole creation brings up a a cold and dark atmosphere which seems to be perfect! Like always the details are top stuff

Nice, very nice! I really love PostApoc stuff and this building/street scene is stunning, I really like the side of the building for unknown reasons. Great detail on the vehicle tracks through the mud! O yeah that PickUp truck looks epic

Update 10.11.2009: As said before I would restock in Dark Bluish Gray bricks, they arrived! Also some Tan tiles were restocked. It's a small restock but they are available anyways, get them before they're gone (again).. I kinda remember that poster tho I got it with a catalog I guess, I've never had any off the large sets when I was a kid. Luckely I've bought the set at second hand pretty cheap I still need to check if it is complete tho.. Yes I've got a weak spot for Islanders (and Western)! Thanks for the review!

Same here, I might want to add the levers to hold up the front gate aswell! I really enjoy this microscale MOCs lately, they're so creative! Looks rather fragile tho, does the castle connect to the tree or just rest on it? Great work!

Well I'm one of the few who voted for the Café Corner. I'm a fan of the colors actually and general design, especially the corner itself is pretty good. It's also the set that killed my so called 'Dark Age'. I still stop for a couple minutes to look at it every time I pass the display in my appartment. My main likings to the Green Grocer are the white windows sticking out on all floors, the dark red curtains on the 1st floor and ofcourse the grocery shop itself filling up the ground level. The fact it's a tiled shop with perfect details makes me giggle! Market Street is to small and lacks total interior possibilities, while Café Corner has lots of space to add my own interior! But the blue colors and rooftop of Market Street are outstanding. Fire Brigade is on its way, I gotta love the brick facade and colors the most. Can't say more since I haven't built it yet nor did I see one in real life yet. Kevin.

That vending machine is really great, clever build! I like all the tiling and chairs aswell, maybe some medical advertising and text above the door would make it even more detailed. Catchy scenery! Keep at it.

Is it me or is Café Corner discontinued? It seems to be still available in the USA tho. Anyone know more about it?
