  1. Hey this is cool, it really fits in with MMV, I'm guessing you used at least one of those to build this awesome tavern. The building itself is brilliant, other cool details are the water and the action. The only thing I don't like or could be done better is the area itself, some more reli
  2. Hi all, it's been a while you heard from me, I'm currently moving in with my girlfriend. I'm so excited I want the world to know LOL not that you care but.. She gave me keys to her appartement 2 weeks ago and she asked me to move in little time later. So I did, actually I'm still doing it. I sometimes wonder tho, I'm 22 (23 in a solid week, yay!) but I've never lived on my own. I go straight from my parents home to her home, is this good or bad? To make this post a bit Lego related or interesting for you: I decided to sell all my Lego that's in my way or I don't have the space for, the sets I keep will be the modular houses and some personal favorites like MMV, Gallardo, Custom Car Garage and that will be it more or less. This means my Bricklink store will drastically increase in inventory over the next weeks, I hope to list everything by the end of September. Feel free to share yor thoughts!
  3. That's brilliant Admiral M! I really like the design, reminds me of my first post apoc scene. Also your 3 modules in arow is beautifull, especially with the fence wall, it might be a lil to open tho? I'm not sure I'll be able to finish my module since I'm moving in with my girlfriend :D I'll do my best tho! Luckely she likes Lego, she's even helping in my store lol
  4. No, they don't but I'm sure they can after a bit of modding.
  5. I was in love with this set ever since the first pictures but its price kept me away from buying. Recently I faced the box and after 5 minutes I decided to buy it anyway. After assembling the spider (great roof!!!) I concluded it's deffinatly worth its price! Great and many pieces, a lot more pieces than I expected! Tootk me as long to assemble as the Café Corner aswell! A decent 3 hours. Might be long but I did it with interest and love lol. When you're on the edge to decide, deffinatly buy this set now you got the chance! As for length: 35-36 studs, width: 14 studs.
  6. New update as off August 17th 2009 A couple 100 parts and a few MISB sets added to my inventory!
  7. That's different! I'm digging the architecture and natural look & feel of this creation. Also those trees are interesting, I love foilage you see :) sidenote: is that green exoforce hair as plants? Brilliant! After looking at your creation I clicked on the provided link and I must say you did a very well job on recreating a given MOC to your own inputs. More like this! Kevin.
  8. ^a uniform wall would give the best impression I think, but the wall itself isn't really discussed yet me thinks. Nevertheless it's a pretty important feature of the build! I want to take a large corner with an outpost and weapon supllies? Are those larger areas 32x32 ?
  9. Jeez Dude your mind has to be worth millions! Incredible MOC, after looking at it for hours and hours I still am amazed by its geniousity. By far my favourite creation from you, together with that gangsta shoutout!
  10. Thought to let you know about an update I've added a lot new parts and MISB sets to my inventory. http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Perterz Thanks for reading/looking.
  11. That actually is a fantastic looking figure, great design and colors chosen. Just the fleshtone feels a bit out off place, maybe a darkbrown would do it for me :) Creative work, thanks for the share!
  12. Raising your groundlevel is possible as long as you keep the reli
  13. Good point, after a pretty close look to the building I have to conclude there are just a few issues. The biggest issue is the colorvariation in the dark red plates (noticed this before in the Model Town House, the dark red jumper plates) Further I spot 1 darker redbrown brick and 3 redbrown bricks with a less smooth surface. That's really it, at least on my copy, plus it's only noticable from it's backview. Ok I'd rather have no issues in a set like this but yeah youcan't have everything I guess..
  14. Very optimistic - I would not count on that! I don't know, mine is 4 months old and doesn't have any colorissues! Or am I really lucky here?!
  15. Thanks again for the your inputs! @dannymlonglegs: I knew it had to be something like that, it happens to me all the time aswell lol.
  16. Thanks for putting up the poll! I voted and noticed my votes were going with the mainstream. Looks like we're getting there..
  17. Damn this makes the Cafe Corner and Green Grocer look so tiny! Very impressing buildings you design sir. I've been wondering how tan with white looks for a while now and I only concluded that those 2 colors aren't a good match but the way you used them here is just fantastic, it works!
  18. Welcome to the forums! I'm 23 years old and I know the 'am I really bying Lego at this age?!' - feeling. But I'm old enough to let (ignorent) people think what they want and do what you want! At first my friends were laughing at me and now they frequently ask me if I have anything new :D As for your parents, I'm sure they will like it. Like my mother once noticed I was buying and displaying Lego, now she regulary just visits my room to come and look at the Cafe Corner and Green Grocer. She told me that 2 days ago :), just like she told me how beautifull she finds those sets and every time she comes here to look at them, she finds new details! Way to go mom! As far as your Black Seas Barracuda, I know that feeling too! In the same way I lost all my Western sets over the years. I miss them! (I found 2 used sets at reasonable price so I bought them to feed my nostalgia) Enjoy your stay and happy building!
  19. Welcome on the forums man, I'm sure you'll fit in before you know. Looking forward to your MOCs and all :) Cheers, Kevin.
  20. Latest update to my BrickLink store as off October 13th 2009: Sale prices further reduced to: 25% Discount on Technic liftarms 35% Discount on Used parts 50% Discount on Bionicle parts Thanks for stopping buy and succesfull completed orders so far! Happy Shopping! Kevin.
  21. Something like Africa sounds really tempting I must say
  22. It possibly could be frightening for those who were planning on buying a copy but haven't did so. I was in time, I got mine not even 2 weeks before I noticed price increase. I'm not surprised if it would be gone.
  23. I've missed stage 4, that's probably why I thought stage 5 would be glorious while that's stage 4 :D Anyway great ruins, looks really good with all those cracks in the wall! On to the future :D Nice additional photo's, all stages next to each other look pretty impressive! All hail Photoshop.
  24. Very nice and welcome to the boards! Please put in your thoughts and ideas in this thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=31367
