That's disappointing. I can understand not making Moe's tavern but a nuclear power plant would have been awesome.

2014 CREATOR Houses Sets - Rumours and Discussion
The Executive replied to Rick's topic in LEGO Town
I like the idea of this set. I think it will increase overall sales by encouraging people to buy more than one set. The design looks great too. -
LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

. Lego just refuses to fix the canopy on the snowspeeder, its almost like they are proud of it. I'm pretty sure the final version isn't going to be much different. The phantom looks like a piece of crap, they could have at least added some more slopes, so lazy. B-wing looks okay for a preliminary, still better than the crappy snowspeeder. -

I think people aren't upset that we are getting the Bith band. It's the fact that this may have been the only opportunity to get Ponda Baba and company. Personally it's been ten years since I got the last Cantina, and when I was younger I really wish we had most of the main characters from the bar. But people are complaining because we may have to wait another ten years to get some of the figures we want. I just hope Lego doesn't wait another decade before they come to their senses. -
Maggie is my favorite figure. I love the new body size, think of the new possibilities. Now we can make an army of Lego babies.

I have a strange theory. What if there are eight figures right now to the Cantina, and the plus 2 new figures are Wuher and Ponda Baba because what's the point of having an empty bar, but don't quote me on this. -

Even if we got just one Bith musician, I would be happy with that. I would just buy more Cantinas. But if we got no Ponda Baba that would make me very upset. -
What confuses me with the mini figures are the eye prints. On the prototype molds the eye prints look normal with open eyelids. But, who in hell decided to give the figures such awkward intoxicated eye expressions for the final version.

Even if you don't like Simpsons, the house itself is a solid build. You could easily put a regular minifigure family in the house.

The interior looks excellent, a must buy. Oh man, I really hope they make more sets for this line.

This looks fantastic. I love the size and the figures. I can't wait to see the interior. A perfect addition to my lego city. I just might buy two.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

I can't believe the AT-AT might have those big ugly red spring loaded shooters on the sides . It just ruins the model in so many ways. All that I am getting from this wave is the Cantina. -
Yes I did. It was quite a surprise and that has never happened to me before. I wonder why they are giving away all those extra pieces?

I purchased one of the last Fire Brigade sets available last month on the Target website. I just finished building it recently and the strangest thing happened. In the box they gave me a whole extra bag of bricks. I could tell after I built the set and I had a large amount of pieces left. This has never happened to me before in all my years of Lego building. I just thought I would share this with you all.

Why stop there. Lego should just release a new police station every year. Why not, according to Lego's logic kids are too dumb to tell the difference anyway.

How do you display your modular building collection?

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. -

Now that I think about it. The new Cantina set could have been a perfect opportunity to make an Imperial Spy figure. But he could still be in the final version. -

Now I'm really hoping for the bartender and Ponda Baba in the Cantina. I like how the Cantina is somewhat of a pseudo building. The AT-AT better be a placeholder for the final. I don't really care for the ISD. -

I'll take another AT AT over another turbo tank any day. I hope the new AT AT is not downsized like the last one. I'd gladly pay more for a larger one. I really hope the Cantina comes with the band and that guy who gets his arm cut off. As for the 2014 winter wave sets being delayed in the US, for shame Lego. -
The stickers for my vulture droid from 2005 are starting to flake off .So seeing this set also has stickers instead of prints is very disappointing. I feel like Lego doesn't understand that those crappy paper stickers don't last very long and that's what makes us AFOLs very angry when we try to display our models.

The new blasters look horrible. Why do all of the battle packs have to have them. It's like they are forcing it on us. It should have been at least 2 old blasters and 2 new blasters per battle pack. -
k'nex is pathetic. Now their sets are starting to look like cheap megabloks ripoffs let along lego rip offs.

LEGO LotR - general discussion
The Executive replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I just recently started collecting sets form this theme. I got the Helms Deep set and I'm slowly getting the rest. Unfortunately most of the first wave of sets are disappearing around here. I really hope they continue with a third wave with a Sauron and a Belrog set. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
The Executive replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I think a modular school or mall would be awesome. The mall wouldn't have to be gigantic. A single level design with a good amount of detail would suffice. I speculate that Lego might reuse the constable helmet mold in another set since they reused the police officer hat mold in the new police sets. I hope Lego reuses the constable in a 1890's style police department or something similar. -
I recently purchased the sailbarge and gunship for $89.99 each at the online target shop. I can usually find good deals online. I try to avoid going to stores on Black Friday for fear of being trampled over by crazy consumers.
