Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
The Executive replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I totally agree. If it were just a regular police station it would feel boring considering how many plain police stations they have made with the City line. I think a detective style building is the modular line's interpretation of a cooler looking police station. -
Anyone else a little disappointed with 75050?
The Executive replied to SWAT Strachan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think the new B-Wing's side wings seem a little too thin. The mod you did to the wings are a much needed improvement. Also, this might seem off topic but why did they retire the UCS B-Wing so soon? It was so cool, and I never had a chance to safe up and buy it. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
The Executive replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I've reached the point where I'm pretty happy with whatever Lego decides to come up with. The rumors of the detective building sound cool. I think just a regular police modular may feel a little bit boring. The story telling elements are what makes some of the modulars unique. -
LDD anmation: Sonic in lost brick
The Executive replied to Zerobricks's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
This looks awesome. I love Sonic. The Eggman explosion was great and the Benny Hill reference was a nice touch. -
I'm not sure if Lego is making the Cloud City, but I hope if they ever do make one that it is in the same style as the Death Star play set. I hope it comes with all of the scenes from cloud city including some ugnaughts to be in the carbon freeze chamber.

The Death Star (Look at the size of that thing!)
The Executive replied to Gotta love the plastic's topic in LEGO Star Wars
If you look carefully at 4:29-4:31 you can see Han Solo spiraling and slowly becoming airborne in the top right corner. -
The Death Star (Look at the size of that thing!)
The Executive replied to Gotta love the plastic's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I don't mind putting something back together but I've certainly had my fair share of taking apart older star wars sets. If they dropped the UCS Falcon I would probably cry because it is such a rare and beautiful set. -

This is blasphemy. I still don't own the death star but why would you take all that time and money building the thing just to destroy it. Yes I get it Lego break in pieces when you drop them I don't need a video to believe it. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
The Executive replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm really glad they are continuing the regular line of CMF. I was really disappointed with the Simpsons series especially their lack of accessories.- 1,109 replies

For future battle packs I think Lego should experiment some more. Lego has pretty much flooded the market with droids and clones so maybe they should try a tatooine battle pack with random jabba's palace/skiff guards or mos eisley inhabitants.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
The Executive replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah, I really saw no problems with the old snow trooper mold, I loved the old molded back pack. Their helmets never really rotate very well in the movie and you never see their faces anyway, so kinda pointless upgrade in my opinion. The biggest problem with the new MTT is the battle droid rack it looks like it only carries 3-4 battle droids. 7662 could carry 16 battle droids . The main feature of the MTT is the droid rack so why is it so severely downgraded? And the price 99 EUR, really? I would hate to see that in US dollars. -
LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
The Executive replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This could very well be the case. TLC must have had to order a large amount of brown coloring for the massive sand crawler this year and I'm guessing they must have had a crap ton of brown dye left and so we have the MTT. -

Although I don't like the idea of Lego shrinking everything, the MTT doesn't look bad. It looks more like a better build version of the original from 2000. It could have used some Gungans though and what's with Obi wan and Qui gon, they were never there during that battle scene. 7662 is still a far superior set and it's still gigantic compared to all of the new sets. I think the age of large built (non UCS) sets is over. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
The Executive replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I think the idea of a museum would be awesome but I think Lego should also make a modular boarding house or bed and breakfast. -

I think the new snow trooper molded helmets are TLG attempt to draw attention away from the horrid design of the AT-AT. -
Although I like the series some of the characters were lacking in accessories. I felt like Bart could have come with a molded slingshot. Krusty could have also come with a horn or a bottle of seltzer.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
The Executive replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm really excited about the new TPM set. I don't know why I have a soft spot for that movie. I know the original trilogy is superior, but I guess because I saw it when I was 9 years old and it was the first star wars movie I saw in theaters and it also reminds me of the first generation of star wars sets. -

I'm really hoping for an AAT. It's been over 10 years since they updated the tan version. -
Wow the House and car look way better than the ones Lego are selling. I hope they release instructions to build this version of the house and car.

I really see no problem with Moe, all he needed to come with was a jar of pickled eggs. Personally I think Homer is the most controversial character of the roster, he's gotten drunk so many times in the show its pretty horrifying, Moe is just the bar tender.
-
My favorite is Krusty. I still think he should have had some elongated shoes though. I'm really hoping these sell well because they have so many characters and variations to make like Mr.Plow Homer and Bartman. I was really hoping for Moe in the series but, come on Lego give us Moe.

The least expensive would be Lego city or if you need a few doors and windows pick-a-brick is another option. If you want your Lego town to be on a more grand scale the modular buildings are another option if you are willing to save up enough money to buy a few of them. Personally I love the modular buildings and they are worth every penny.

I love the GE I have two. I have TH and it's really awesome. It has so many cool features I can't see why people wouldn't like it as much as the others. The only modular I don't have in circulation right now is PC. I just don't like PC because it looks so much more different next to the other modulars. I really wish I got GG when it was out. I really wanted it so bad but back then I didn't have the money to buy it. If TH is going next I say save up some money and buy it asap or take out a loan and buy it.

The size of the Cantina looks good. Here's hoping for a add on with all the missing Cantina characters. I think Obi wan needs a brown kama skirt.
