  1. Messa no likesa this title. Sorry, but if I am given the title of "gungan," what else am I to do? :-P Just kidding. Actually, when I first got this title, I was really jumping for joy. So, thank Vader. ;-)
  2. That's awesome news! City is finally leaping back, and that means that we will almost certainly seen CITY 2008 sets! *sweet* Thanks for the news, Holodoc. ;-)
  3. Well, now that just about all of the summer 2007 kits have been revealed, I
  4. I dissagree. If I was growing up in the 80's, I really would have been ticked off by the fact that every figure, from every age and every location, had the same face and was always happy. That would make for a pretty boring lego collection, IMO. Totally agree. ;-) BTW, I actually like that they are using fleshies for licenses. It makes them stand apart from the othe themes, and makes them more realistic. Go ahead, kill me. :-P
  5. Mario, maybe, but I really don't think video games will work as sets nearly as well as movies or comics. I'd much rather see more Batman and Avatar kits. ;-)
  6. Thanks for the review and pictures (although I don't really need them, since I already have Nocturn. :-P ). He's a really cool set, and he is AWESOME for parts. Lime green, trans blue, and glow in the dark blue galore! *sweet*
  7. Hey, these dudes look much better now! Many thanks for the great pictures, dill. You may have just caused me to want to build these sometime! (once I get the last two kits. X-D )
  8. *jaw jrops to the floor* X-O How could I have missed this? Amazing! Just incredibly amazing! Although, I agree with Exo-champ that it needs a bit more Mecha and Exo-force in it. It's fine for now, though. ;-) KUTAW!
  9. Welcome to the greatest all around Lego Forum ever, Darth Brick! Good to see you like T&T and Starwars! (two of my favorite themes, although I really like almost everything ;-) ). I hope you enjoy dicussing the greatest hobby ever here. (Although you probably already knew that. :-P ) Man, Norro, I have yet to see you welcome a new member without mentioning your all time favorite theme... :-P
  10. I agree with everyone. The quality of the pictures may be poor, but the animation is so smooth and cool it doesn't matter one bit. KUTAW to whoever made this! ;-) Well, duh, since that was only words and not a video. :-P
  11. Here's a happy birthday from the rebel/pilot/jedi (aka me) ;-) : HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you'll be getting a lego y-wing in your loot. :-P
  12. Aliens? Seriously, Bionicle is a LOT more complex than average, run of the mill dinozaurs alien monsters action figures. :-/ Um, do you mean 4+ Pirates? No offense, but if so, that makes no sense IMO. 4+ Pirates was a disgrace to everything the original pirates created. All this line had to offer was lousy models, 1 piece figs, tons of <insert that tiresome argument> pieces, ridiculous designs (a catapault and lampstand on a simple raft? A ships wheel on a one person boat? :-| ), and worst of all, Missiles For Cannonballs! :-X
  13. Why? After all, Greg and TLC have consistently said that Lego plans to continue Bionicle as long as it sells well. This is backed up (at least IMO) by the fact that I really can't see why they would end bionicle if it was selling well. Seriously, Bionicle is number 2 on the top themes list, and was number ONE for several years before. If it's doing so well, TLC would almost possitively never end it. It's a case similar to LSW (minus the storyline) and all other themes: it's controled by the customers. Galidor did horribly with the customers, as did Jack stone. They both died very quickly. Starwars did super well, and after 8 years, it's still going strong and will continue at least until 2011. So, unless Bionicle suddenly had a serious drop in popularity (which, considering what I've heard, will not happen anytime soon), TLC has basically no reason to cancel it. ;-) Another potential problem with your theory, Jinzo: 2006-8 revolves around a quest to save Mata-Nui's life. Save his life, not wake him up. And, as we all know, that is what the bionicle we know and have always known revolves around. The only possible way for Bionicle to end considering the current storyline is for him to wake up, and seriously, that has an extremely low chance of hapening before the end of 2008. Having so many things hapening ( finding the mask of life again, saving Mata-Nui's life, waking up Mata-Nui, ending Bionicle) just would not fit in with Bionicle's way of storytelling, even with GregF at the head of the story. Bionicle has always progressed slowly, revealing and introducing more things each year, but slowly. Doing all of those major events in a year (2008), is extremely uncharacteristic of Bionicle. Thus, Jinzo, I really can't see Bionicle ending any time soon. ;-)

    sigh.

I'll be praying, PSPguy. And I'm very sorry. :-(
  15. OOC: I thought I'd just do an update on my character in this story. ;-) IC: 4 weeks. It's been four weeks since I was brought here, brought here in complete disgrace. My "duel" with Vader was a complete disaster. I lost, lost one of my arms, and lost my pride. Ever since I left Grievous and his droids, I've been caught up in pride and over confidence. I have been a fool, and maybe even a disgrace to the Jedi name. Now, now that I have had so much time to think, I have realized my mistakes. I hope that I will eventually be able to break out of this sweltering prision and escape to my rebel friends. I only wish I could erase my troubled past and start over. But, now is not the time to wish for things that are impossible. As of now I have been planing an escape, an escape that, while dangerous, may be my only way out of here, ever. I am writing this on a datapad I smuggled into my cell, and I have been recording my days here ever since I came to Mufastar. The time is near for my escape, and it could very well happen today. May the force be with the rebels should I not escape with my life. ~~END WRITING~~ (Here it goes...) *concentrates on Protocol droid's memory chip* (Got him!) CRASH!!! (Yes, the droid fell on the bars switch, just as I had planned. Now to dress him up... There. I've got to get out of here, but I need my lightsaber.... Hm, and I know just where it is...)
  16. Happy easter... er, birthday. (sorry, just wanted to say something unique. X-D )
  17. Ugh, how about the worst? Seriously, what normal car or truck these days has RED hubcaps? :-X
  18. What? *wacko* How is the Fire Pickup crappy? That beauty is one of the closest to clasic sets in the Fire line! Seriously, I can't see anything wrong with it. :-/ I agree completely, oo7. When I saw pictures of the real hovercraft, I realized how accurate the lego version is, and it made it look much better! Aside from the one-piece hull and the side nozzles (which I see an easy fix for), there really seems nothing to complain about. And, Yoda, no offense, but the Hovercraft looks smaller than it should be, if you are thinking accurate size! :-/ Thanks for the review, anyway, even though I disagree with most that was said. ;-)
  19. Sorry for triple posting, but I just wanted to say that I've added a few more topics and polls to the index. ;-)
  20. Simple, but nice. I love the way you did the sand and water on the beach. ;-)
  21. 4+ pirates. Hands down. *n* 1. That is your opinion, so you might want to put "IMO." There are plenty of people that would say that Bionicle is still lego (even when you take away BZP), so simply saying those statements doesn't mean that it's true. 2. When you said that "bioncle's fans are not fans," I felt very insulted. >:-( You're basicly saying that me, Jinzo, KMOI, Ravensburg (2001 wise), Kagarahk, Vahkimetru, Exo-Champ, and some other members here (plus EVERY member on BZPOWER and Maskofdestiny and any bionicle related forum) are not LEGO fans. Even if that's not what you mean, the wording makes it sound just like that, so generalizing every bionicle fan as "not a true lego fan." |-/ 3. Saying that Bionicle poisioned Technic just doesn't line up. I mean, Bionicle even used to used old technic beams, and at the same time, Technic didn't! So, bionicle didn't cause that, and BTW, Techinc 2007 uses the old beams as well. 4. Bionicle is system compatable in some ways. Look at Vikings and Exo-force! I know you probably dislike that to, but for many system fans, it worked. And once again, this is your opinion. 5. Um, wrong. Bioncle will always have Technic compatabilty, because if it didn't, it wouldn't be Bioncle or even a building toy. If you are saying that Lego could make bionicle into another galidor without many problems, think again. Galidor was a complete bomb, with adults AND kids, and doing that again would harm lego's reputation with almost everybody. Fans everywhere would notice, and even BZP would not act favoribly, from what I have seen on there. So, no, Bionicle will never be Galidor 2, not because it's my opinion, but because of the facts.
  22. Oh man, me too... :'-( But, if the online Bionicle comic is a "go at your own pace" kind of comic, then I won't mind. ;-)
  23. Favorite one that I own: Favorite one that I don't: ;-)
  24. AMEN!!!!!!! Just kidding. X-D But, it still feels really cool welcoming a fellow conservative, especially if he is as honest and as outspoken as you! I hope you have a great time here, and by all means, always ignore Calvin. (j/k) ;-)
