Even if I respect people's freedom of speech, it doesn't mean I always like it. But, I never said I wasn't being tollerant. I've never actually flamed anyone here for saying "d**m!" I can't do anything about whether people here say those words or not, so I let it be. I understand completely. :-)

For kids, YES. You're kidding, right? I can't believe you haven't seen common uses of d word, a word, and h word here. :-/ It's not inapropriate to dislike stuff like that because of your religon. If it's okay to talk about your atheism, why is it not to talk about your religion. You may be taking offense, but I'm taking offense at what you are saying. Um, I didn't mean that that was true at all. I was only saying that if eurobricks WAS like that, I would not be here today. Thankfully, it's NOT. I know, I know. It's a fact of life that I realize I have to face. Fortunately, eurobricks is usually limited to less vulgar swears, so I'm okay as of now. Thanks for understanding. ;-) Actually, no. The brotherhood first came around in 2005, and Greg and the story team have made it a major element ever since. Personally, I love the idea. *sweet*

Awesome! The toa Mahri rock! :'-) Except for the gatling gun, of course. |-/ Nah, I like Hewkii Inika better. But I agree, Hahli is COOL. Those wings make me drool... and I love that we get solid color versions of all her Inika form's parts! Although, I don't really like her weapon... :-/ Sorry, but I wouldn't like that at all. True, I would be able to get them (I wasn't into bionicle in 2002), but think of what that would mean for Bionicle on a whole! Exact re-releases of sets only half a decade old is BAD marketing. That seriously would be boring, and I don't think many people would buy them. Which would mean: no Bionicle 2009. :'-(

Um, swearing, anyone? And not all forums have the stuff eurobricks has. BZP is one example, and that is why I spent a lot of time on there. If you aren't upset at all by the stuff, then fine, but if eurobricks was worse than it was right now (including sometimes graphic sexual discuscion and uncensored F-words), I would not be on here at all. Okay, Bonesiii does not come off like that at all to me. True, he may say a lot more than needed, but to me, he's a fair member who helps BZP a lot by sorting out problems caused by newbs. He even said right out once that opinions are good and fair! And he also happens to be a great writer and excellent storyline whiz, so I completely dissagree with you. But, we all know there's nothing wrong with that. ;-)

It better be. I mean, yeah a modernized version of the first JSF design would be cool, but a JSF with Anikan wouldn't be as special if it wasn't the one from the clone wars cartoon. Who doesn't like those giant engines, giant blasters, and the white and blue color scheme? *sweet*

Thanks a million for all these awesome 2008 tibits, DJSaul! I'm especially looking foward to the battlepacks and Greivous model (of course :-P ). Too bad about the droids though. I really wanted sand red, since I missed out on the Geinosis set back in 2003! >:-(

That's a distinct possibility, but we really can't make any assumptions until we get more info. The new Toa Nuva won't be coming out until at least 2008. They very well could be the Toa canister sets for that year. One thing we can almost be certain of, though: they will not be direct releases. After all, what's the fun in that? ;-)

Like I said, I didn't know. To tell you the truth, I didn't really think it was a possibility anyway. ;-) Anywho, ever since I read on BZP that Toa Mahri were aparrently showing up in stores, I've been checking everywhere for a chance to buy one. Anybody seen any yet? BTW, you guys haven't heard yet that Greg confirmed that the Toa Nuva will be returning in set form, have you? I figure that if everyone here knew, it would be the subject of the hour. ;-)

Even if he didn't write the script for the animations, he DID write the script for the original comics. If you don't believe me, I can just take a screen capture of the 2001 comics that are on my computer and show you. Greg has been with Bionicle ever since 2001, and even wrote Bionicle Chronicles 4. It may be hard to believe, but I'm with Jinzo on this one: TLC is the cause for the change of writing style in the comics and books. Greg has to do what they want if they want it. He didn't want Vakama to become a traitor, but they made him it anyway. They call the shots, and Greg can only add stuff to the storyline if they allow him. I know, sad for many (although not for me), but if you want to blame somebody for Bionicle's change of style, I'd go with TLC, not Greg. ;-)

Plenty. As a Christian, I sometimes feel that many of the things allowed here on Eurobricks (language, imuendo, flaming) are not things I should be reading, because it's against what I believe. But, as I said up above, I still feel that I do belong here in some ways, as well as on BZP. I'll just have to take the good with the bad. Actually, you're wrong on that one. Besides social awkwardness, there are many other characteristics, including extreme sensitivity, poor motor skills, and explosive, out of the blue anger and emotion. I have all of those, and more, so my life is not as easy as the average 14 year olds. Fortunately, my parents and God have helped me through so much of this, but these factors have been coming into place through my life, even on here and BZP. My arguments may make no sense because at the time I'm very irrational. I've been trying to work on it though, and I do hope people here can realize that my situation is difficult. It's not as much what they are saying that gets me upset. It's more that people seem to use greggers jokes so much. A common thing I see here is that people often jokingly blame anything wrong about Bionicle on greg, even if it's not his fault. That has gotten annoying after constant use, so that was why I asked that request. But, I realize that I can't change people unless they want to be changed, so I'll just try to keep out of more Greg discuscions. ;-) Anyway:

Maybe, but the fact remains that it still seems a bit too agressive to be simply called "harmless." More importantly, name calling is the most common form of juvenial insults, frenquently used by young kids. People here are saying that Lego shouldn't listen to those kids, but if so, why are we stooping to their level by tossing semi/rude names around? Then again, I see what you mean. I think it's partly my problem. I have a disorder that causes my brain to function differently than most people (it's call asbergers (sp)), and one of the affects is that I take things more literally than I should. A joke often sounds literal to me (as members have seen here before), so when people toss around these meaningless "hateful" comments, I feel as though you seriously hate the things you "insult," and almost wish they didn't exist. I know extreme, but it's true. And as for BZP, it's not really their fault they ban discuscion that eurobricks allows. BZP is made largely up of younger members, thus if they allowed people to joke around like this, the majority of members would either take it as an insult or throw jokes back, and then whole topics would become flame wars. Eurobricks, on the other hand, is made almost entirely up of older teens and adults, people who are mature and can handle stuff like that. Many of BZP's rules may seem unfair, but the fact is that without them, it would be much worse. It literally could become like the official lego club forums, which, as we know, are possibly the worst forums on the entire internet. :-P As a matter of fact, part of me really wants to come back to eurobricks permantly, and it's mainly just the "hateful joking" that has put me off. Actually, I think even some members here are getting tired of the endless stream of "Greggers jokes." I know I am. Maybe we can just lay off for a bit? :-/

I know about 30000 people who would completely disagree with you (one of which, is me). And they all post on a friendly forum called BZP, a forum that actually cares about how many insults members throw at each other and everyone they don't like. What amazes me more is how members here can post so vemonously and use winking emoticons at the same time. I really don't see why people think that is the best way of expressing opinions. And, although I know I will get dissed for this, I say these things because I'm a Christian. The Bible and God guide my choices every day, and I strive to be as godly a person as possible. That includes not saying hateful things, and that is why I simply can not enjoy this forum any more.

I don't mean to come across as dignified at all, Darkness. I just believe that if you wouldn't say something directly in front of the person, then you shouldn't say it at all. Secondly, in many ways I believe that BZP is either better than eurobricks, or has a perfect reason to do the things they do. Why exactly is BZP's ideas so ridiculous? But, nobody answer that question. Because, basically, I don't think I will post here any more, ever again. I've been batlling my conscience for a while about whether I should even come here any more, and now I believe that I have had enough. I'm leaving, and I sometimes wonder why I ever joined Eurobricks, since it seems all we ever due here is argue, insult people, and dissagree (note that this is a generalization, and also MY opinion). Enough is enough for me. Note: Please, nobody respond to this post. I won't be around to talk about this any more, so don't waste words on me.

That's generalization, and that, my friend, is very bad when you are talking about a forum of over 30000 members. Seriously, I doubt a third of the regular members even look at the sprite comics in Artwork 3 at all! The random humor of most sprite comics appeals to the younger members, but not to the older members, which there are quite a few of. Truly, I am getting sick of all the generalization and factual opinions creeping up around the "good" ship eurobricks. Many members word their posts like their opinions are fact, and everybody believes them. Not to be pointing fingers, but I do wish that all the members here could respect Double T's statement: Note that it very well is possible that everybody here already respects that. ;-)

Well, a week ago I took advantage of the Buy 2 Get 1 1/2 off offer at the TRU I go to and picked up Exo-Force Golden Guardian, Iron Condor, and Bionicle Ehlek, getting Ehlek free. All are great, especially the Golden Guardian. Best Exo-force mech ever, period. Even non exo fans should consider getting this one for all the awesome great parts (GOLDEN giant pillar! *sweet* ) and a kick butt mech design. ;-) Oh, and a week before that I got Exo-force Sky Guardian. My wallet is feeling a bit empty.... :-/

Once again, Graynar, you really have me impressed. This is probably your best set yet, and for good reason! Besides the great modular building system, the base itself is a beauty! The color scheme makes it look right at home on a side wall of the Golden city, and the interior is very nice. And the GCI.... :'-) Just awesome. Only con? The Robot vehicle. Sorry, but it looks a bit thrown together compared to everything else, and I don't like the color scheme. Still, that is overshadowed by the awesomeness of the base and mech. Great job as usuall, JT Revival. :-P P.s. LOVE the fake box artwork. What program did you make it in?

Okay, we have a movie trailer thread, a last movie watched thread, and various specific movie threads, but we have no actual thread listing the movies we WANT to see, which makes me surprised that nobody posted a topic like this yet. :-/ Anyway, my list is not too big: The Last Mimzy (looks interesting) Transformers (Dood, Like Totally Awsum! X-D ) National Treasure 2 (I loved 1, so I've got to see 2!) Ratatolui, or something like that (The pixar movie) And of course.... Spiderman 3 (No one word can describe this. Okay, maybe unbelievable. X-D ) How about you?

Well, Megablocks is one thing to me (At least they have some interesting stuff and good pieces), and I don't blame them for using the concept. (The one thing I actually agree with Calvin on! X-D ) But this, this is way too far. I mean, look at these new hybrids! Complete utter crud, with horrible colors, lousy designs, and no use for any serious fans (who wants to combine their lego collection with K-nex?). :-X Bah, Knex is okay, especially for really big models (I have some Knex myself!), but this is just pointless and will undoubtedly do nothing to help Knex and its sales. :-|

Okay, I am not really understanding this topic. We have had regular orange bricks, and turquoise bricks, pink bricks, and purple bricks! It seems as different people are interpreting this topic's purpose differently. I see at least 3 different questions here: 1. What brand new colors would you like to see? 2. What new colors would you like to see standard bricks made in next? 3. What existing brick colors would you like to see in bulk? (at say, a Pick a Brick) My answers: Number 1: Army Green, a sort of olive green color (much like the color the cheap Best Lock army kits use). That would be awesome for mocs. *sweet* Number 2. Again. Army Green. Maybe Ice Blue, too (not baby blue). Number 3: Purple, Teal, Dark Blue and Dark Green, and Yellow Orange.
