Did you read DV's post? GregF hasn't denied the realism of the set names; it's TLC that said they were fake.

Bionicle story / character discussion topic.
Zarkan replied to JINZONINGEN73's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Nah, these aren't real, because bionicle pictures always either come out with or after the main system lineup pictures. Back in 2006, we got all the system pictures but had to wait a while longer before the Barraki. Besides, although they guy who made them did a really good job at making the editing look real, the set designs are what give it away. Lewa is unchanged except for the ugly, fake technic wings, and you can easily tell Pohatu has Takanuva armor on him, and Takanuva armor is in a discontinued color. :-| -
Hinckley39's police car. I tell you, when TLC's new police station for 2008 is revealed, I sure hope it includes a police car that looks something like that! Your MOC takes realism to a new level, Hinckley! ;-)

TLC must be jumping for joy at all the millions of kroger they are making with these Modular buildings. Now it seems every Town AFOL builder is building some sort of addition to go with their copies of Cafe Corner and Market Street. X-D Anyway, no one word can really describe your building, Barbosa, but I'll just go ahead and say that it's FANTASTIC! The colors, the detail, the building techniques.... all wonderful! Usually, it's the noobs who are going around saying "Awesome! 10/10," so I guess I'll have to be a noob myself and say "Awesome! 10/10!" (Warning! The above post contains excessive amounts of joking and exagurations! X-D )

What's wrong with his armor? And trust me, the bike's a lot more complicated that it looks in those pictures. I thought it was mediocre too... until I looked at the instructions on Lego.com. ;-) Hey, once you get access to a camera, I'd love to see your new Makuta, Shakar! *sweet*

Bionicle story / character discussion topic.
Zarkan replied to JINZONINGEN73's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Well, that's the point. People here are upset about the entire storyline since 2004 or so. They wish that Bionicle hadn't become such a vast universe like it is now, and instead had stayed in a small area of a couple islands or so. In that since, Greg could be at fault, since when he got in charge the Bionicle universe started growing in size vastly. If you want to understand, just read Ravensburg's Bionicle Rewritten topic linked to in the Bionicle Index I made. I disagree, of course, but what can I say? :-/ -
As Echo said, a couple of BZP members heard that the Bionicle 2008 set list is fake, and some people here think that TLC's trying to cover it up via spreading fake alarms. Personally, I'm not sure what to think. One the one hand, TLC seems to hate leaks, but on the other, I was a little surprised that the set list contained 3 Toa and 3 baddies. It's up in the air until pics surface, I guess. :-/
-
I am getting tired of your nonstop "cheek", Ravensburg. Does every remark you say have to be sarcastic or insulting to someone? :-| Besides, I bet most of the insults you say here you wouldn't ever say to the insultee face to face. I'm actually fine with Kongu other than his double cordak, but I agree that he definitely is not the finest of air Toa. Iruni and Lewa Nuva PWN him. ;-)

Well, since they have dirrect ties to TLC and Greg F, keep the pictures there and lose the former. Sad, but true, and I would rather just look at them over here than have BZP lose GregF and all the exclusives he gives BZP. ;-) -
I already knew that, Shine. :-P And, Innerayg, I disagree with you. Seriously, I don't want to put a red and grey gun on a MOC that's green and blue, and neither do most serious MOC'ers. Also, it's not just the colors, but the design. The cordak just isn't a cool chaingun, unlike the one on that Piraka faced MOC Shane showed us. (yes, it's an opinion, but so is yours). :-/

That was a bit extreme, and it's really just a masked attempt to call the Mahri crap. We have NO idea what the Nuva will look like, and every toa design other than the Nuva has looked WAY different than the previous. Oh, and I know it was a joke, Hewkii, but I really didn't find it funny. :-/ -
Now THAT's cool, Shine! Sort of reminds me of Samus Aran with a evil, male twist! *sweet* And I also completely agree. The Cordak is bad in design, especially because it has a total of THREE completely different colors: Light grey, Dark grey, and RED. Good luck trying to incorporate that into a MOC that doesn't have the same colors. *wacko*
-
For once, I completely agree with you. Squids = :-X Anyway, nice revamps, Shine! I like Matoro a lot, especially since you balanced the light blue out well and he still mantains a bit of a hunchback, like in his actual set form. Hewkii, I'm not so fond of. I guess I can blame it most on the mask, which isn't your fault at all, but I'm also not keen on those System shoulder pads. I'm not against System in Bionicle at all, but it just doesn't look right to me. :-/ Still, they both are great, and I LOVE that you got rid of the Cordak launchers without making them look incomplete! *sweet*
-
I own one. And I'm extremely disapointed with it. Not only does it not fire half the time, it's such a big and useless mold that it's worthless except for slapping on torsos as an extra weapons. At least the Zamor launchers had a fair amount of axle joints to modify them with more pieces, but if you sliced off the ball joint and axle socket on the Cordak launcher, it would look like generic action figure junk. :-X Oh yes! While I really liked the outward designs of the Sanok, Iden, and Kadin, the horid heads ruined any chance of Mocing with them. |-/ Yeah, but they also gave us some awesome new masks and lots of interesting parts, not to mention major differences in each set! The Hordika brought new meaning to "Clone sets," plus they had those horible dispaportionate arms and lots of useless pieces. Okay, so I love the feet, chest armor, and some of the heads and weapons, but the rest is just junk. :-X

Still, it's upsetting to me that Transformers was advertised to kids so much, what with the coloring and sticker books, junior novelizations, kids toys, as well as other stuff. I agree that parrents need to be careful, but ratings are still only broad terms, and they are usually not enough to tell what is REALLY in a movie (they also can often be wrong or inconsistent). And relying on the trailers only, nothing seems objective at all, aside from action violence. Not the real case, though. |-/
-
Hm, I don't really agree with you on that. Sure, episode 6 wasn't as good as 4 or 5, but it beats the crud out of the next two episodes, and is far better than episode 3. Also, the scenes with the emperor and darth vader's death rocked my sox! *sweet* Eh, but each to his own, I guess. But, back on topic, I also have a serious problem with Transformers. Not because of the storyline, but because of a major issue. Okay, seriously, with all the toys and merchandise, we know that tons of kids will be going to see this movie (or already have), regardless of the rating. After all, on the outside, it looks like an average beat em up, kablooie movie, something that kids love. But, I have a feeling that many parents are going to wish that their kids hadn't seen this movie once the credits roll. And I mean 7 year old pre-adolescents, not teens. Why? Well, lets just say that the content isn't exactly kid friendly. Make that, not kid friendly at ALL. Tons of swearing? Check. Crude jokes and drugs? Check. Females wearing bikinis in major scenes? CHECK. And all that's going right into bobby's young brain. *sad* Couldn't the guys working on this movie have shown a LITTLE restraint? I guess not, and neither could they have resisted dragging pre-adolsecents into the mix. Bye bye wonderful movie I was expecting, hello crudtastic average PG-13 ripoff. :-X

The person above me is yet another goon employed by Mr Phes, the renegade pirate that controls one of the insane factions fighting for members. :-P

Here's Misty, my family's cat. She may look cute, but don't be fooled: she's lazy and hates strangers. Fortunately, she likes me best, so I enjoy her SOME. :-P
-
Well, unlike most people here, I don't consider owning a little megabloks blasphemy. :-P And besides, if I painted my legos, they would be usless in the sets that I took them from! ;-) Anyway, thanks for the comments, guys. ;-)

You know, I'm having second thoughts on this video game, as well as the theme itself. :-/ Seriously, I really am wondering: how in bricks are they going to do all the scenes with Nazis in them? And what about all the old testament allusion around the first movie? I even heard that the third movie has some... well, steamy things in it (correct me if I'm wrong, I've only seen Raiders of the Ark). All this in a lego game? Mesa no like how thisa sounds.... 8-|

For a while, I

I have plenty of ideas: Fire: Yes, I know we have a lot of kits, but there are two ideas I still have for the theme, two that would fill in the gaps. Fire Helecopter (14.99 to 19.99 USD): This would be larger than the cruddy one we got back in 2005, with room for two people and some realistic water guns on the sides. There could also be a small shack or some trees burning down below, as well as a townsperson. Fire Speeder (9.99 USD): Just a small one or two seater boat. It'd have water guns on the front and some tool storage areas with tools at the back. Police: Well, now that a police survelience truck and helecopter is confirmed, my wants for Police are also taken care of! ;-) Airport: I have one idea for this theme, one that would only take a bit of modifiying on the large airplane we have. Cargo Plane (49.99 to 59.99 USD): In this kit, they would take the regular passanger jet we have, change the blue to green, change the tail to a two fin design, and put on a new straight wing piece and maybe a new cockpit design. Also, there'd be some containers with oil barrels, mail, food, tools, and/or some other things. A fork lift and some workers would also be a must! Octan: Since we now have a new gas station, it's time for TLC to make more kits for that subtheme. I have two wants: Tow Truck (7.99 to 9.99 USD): Made on a standard 6 wide base with a white, red and green color scheme, this would include a large towing mechanism and a driver. If they wanted to boost the price up, they'd also add a small car to tow with a citizen. Fuel Tanker (9.99 to 11.99 USD): This would be a perfect way to finally make new 6 wide cylinder halfs. The truck would be a regular 6 wheel design, and a small 4 wheel base would be at the end of the fuel tank.
-
Actually, I kinda saw this coming. With the new set license and all, a video game is the perfect way to spread interest in the kits and theme. Still, it's nice to see it confirmed, but I guess this means no Lego Exo-Force video game... man, I was really hoping for something along those lines... :-( BTW, anyone think the 4th movie could be a bounus section or something? ;-)

Well, I built something: Yeah, not the greatest, but I tried. Here's the bio in the folder description: ~~END~~

YES! I knew somebody would use those giant lime wheels in a MOC! Thank you so much, dill. Your creations rock! *y*
