Beautiful. Couldn't be more perfect. :'-) A great small castle and an awesome skeleton ship, 7 minifigures, acessories, and lots of great pieces to go around. Kudos to whoever designed this (and basically the entire new Castle line). ;-)

Had me there for a second, but ONLY a second. Nice joke, but since I'm in the USA, it's a day early. :-/

I'm Zarkan: Toa of Cyclones. I'm also now a Premier member, since that comes with an excellent blog and access to the only forum I can post my game Bionicle Duels in (not to mention lots of other stuff) ;-)

Congrats! I know exactly how you feel, as I was overjoyed when my youngest brother was born. ;-)

Happy birthday, Transformer man! :-P You got the Golden Guardian? Sweet, since that's an awesome kit.(if only I had it |-/ )

LEGO joins with NetDevil to create an MMOG
Zarkan replied to Chuck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Nah, that's just a windows XP compatable rerelease of an old 1998 PC "game." It was pretty limited, as it focused completely on the cruddy Town Jr. theme, and had few options. Trust me, I own it. ;-) -
Hm, seems as a lot of negative comments about the Mobile Devastator have been popping up here. As a matter of fact, I will have to dissagree with all of them, as I find that the MD is one of the coolest looking exo-force sets this year. I truly think the design is pretty darn awesome, and not boxy at all. True, it uses a lot of technic, but so did the Striking Venom, and I haven't heard any complaints about that kit. And the wheels.... honestly, I don't think they are any worse than the wheels in the Starwars Hailfire Droid, an excellent kit. There really isn't any other way TLC could have done the wheels on a tank like this, and even they may have other uses (as the wheels on the hailfire droid have). But what makes this vehicle really special to me is all the cool features. It's great to see more prison pod carying vehicles, and the suspension on the wheels looks very functional and flexible. The bottom cockpit is neat, and the top is.... amazing! Double quad cannons,, Devastator gunners, and a kick-butt looking design make it my favorite detail. Also, Hitomi's mech is very interesting, and I think the arm weapons are a nice departure from normal exo-force fare. But you know what else I see? 13 FIGURES! Yes, we get Hitomi, 6 Iron drones, 3 Devastators, a COMPLETE Meca One, and even two skeletons! That is the biggest figure count in any exo force set to date, making this kit even more apealing to me. So overall, I really like this kit, and if I had the money to spare, I would possibly get it. ;-) What really confounds me though, is not the general dislike of the Mobile Devastator, but the fact that so many people love Hayato's Areo Blaster, a kit that I think is the most outrageous exo force kit ever designed (do the words, top heavy, ring a bell?) *wacko*

Excellent idea, Darkness. ;-)

Okay, anybody who visits the Non System Forum probably knows that a lot of anti Greg F messages have been floating around. Many people here think that he has done a terrible job, and has messed up the storyline to infinity. Now, as you know, I still am

The first thing I thought when I saw this set: Yellow square bottom pillars! *sweet* But overal, this set is awesome! It's not as impressive as the new gas station or some of the other 2007 City sets, but it's very detailed and looks modern and sofisticated. I think even general City dislikers will like this one (as proven by Calvin's comment ;-) ).

When I first saw this, I was just "WOW..." 8- -
Wow! The AFOL who designed this is an amazing builder! Now, if only lego made something like this.... oh, wait. This is an offical kit. ... 8-

Very nice! You have some good plant designs, and the rope bridge is a thing of genius. Now, for the big question: How much do I have to shell out to buy it? :-P

Thundercats....HO!!! Custom figs 2
Zarkan replied to Vader's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Just amazing. I, like exo attack, am too young to have seen the show, but the figures are so detailed and fierce, it doesn't matter one bit. You have an incredible tallent for custom figs, Vader. ;-) Man, I really need to find out how to make custom figs so I can make the custom TMNT Lego figs I've wanted... *wacko* -
Very nice job, exo attack! This should get a pin of its own. ;-)

I disagree. Many of the recent movies they have made, and basicly all of the Pixar movies contain at least one main moral message displayed throughout the movie (and often several). Cars was about treating others as you wanted to be treated, National Treasure's big end message was that family is the ultimate treasure, and etc. I seem to see a lot more moral goodness in their most recent movies than you. :-/ Um, you do realize that basically every toy or movie company does that (even TLC), don't you? ;-) Doogal and Arthur and the Invisibles were bad, but I really liked Hoodwinked, because it had a similar formula as Shrek, only without the potty humor and immuendos (which was what really spoiled Shrek for me). :-) I truly don't think Mulan 2, Lion King 1.5, or Peter Pan were that bad at all (yes, I have seen all of them). And besides, can any remake of a clasic really stand up to the original? For what it's worth, I think they are doing a decent job in that area. ;-) Yeah. The only movie I though they did good with was Over the Hedge, especially since they toned down the potty humor a bit and gave it a good message. Madagascar would have been good... if it had a real point. :-| And now I hear they are turning it into a trilogy! Double :-| Whoops, I've talked my mouth off after saying I wouldn't join in the discusion any more! Oh well... X-D
-
.... Then I guess this means I will get even more death threats, due to the fact that I am very sad that Disney lost the rights to Pooh. :-P Seriously, I like Disney a lot more than Dreamworks, since they manage to withhold all the dumb potty humor and inuendos from their movies. (I REALLY disklike Shrek. :-X ) Since when have we had a Dreamworks movie that didn't manage to stuff a lot of double-entandres and stupid jokes in? :-/ So, unlike everybody in this topic so far, I won't be going BUAHAHA. BTW, is it safe for me to assume that Eurobricks is generally anti Disney? If so, then I won't be joining in this conversation any further. BLASPHERMY! (j/k) The 80's movie is a clasic! 8-

Poll: Best Film/TV show Batman incarnation?
Zarkan replied to Zarkan's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Oops, sorry about that. :-$ If I knew how to edit polls, I'd add that choice right now, but since I don't, could a moderator add Batman Beyond to the list? :-) -
Exactly why I also chose ROTS. Although, the ANH opening is a pure classic. ;-)
-
Note that BTAS, 60's Batman, and The Batman's official movies go with those choices. ;-) Okay, I know I'm making a risky move here, but I really have got to say that overall, The Batman wins out. I'm sure this will make many of you cry for my execution (j/k), but I truly love The Batman more than the other incarnations. Full explanation coming tomorow. :-P

Before I start my comentary on Summer 2007 , let me just say that I still stand by Greg F and the current storyline, but I have realized that I really can't force people to believe what I believe. So, you won't be hearing any noobish comments about how lame their post writing is. Also, I am very glad that BZP's administratiors chose to back up the "complainers" in their latest news story. It's a big step towards making it a bit more open to different opinions, and I'm happy they did it. ;-) Now then, about 2007. Well, it still remains a mixed bag for me. Here's my indepth review as usual: Jaller: Is it just me, or are the legs and arms EXACTLY the same as his Inika verison? But, I kind of like his mask, and the crab is so awesome. HE has a few new good pieces (not including the sword), but I'll probably pass. :-/ Hahli: SICK mask! That is so the Kaukau of present day bionicle, and it is one of the best recent masks IMO, hands down. *sweet* And, now we have all the Hahil Inika pieces without the swirly white in them! But, the tool and wings are pretty junky from what I see, and she is very similar to her Inika counterpart, design wise. She's on my to buy list, though. *y* Kongu: Okay, when I saw him, I was like "Great mask! And rakishi feet in dark green! And... Oh, beautiful, lego. Now Kongu doesn't have just 1 cruddy chaingun, but two, and he doesn't even have another weapon!" >:-( Sorry, but I will probably pass again. Matoro: You know what is my biggest gripe with the Mahri? (chainguns aside) Almost all of them remind me of their Inika counterparts in a large extent. And Matoro really tops it all in that area. :-| I see very few good new parts, and i'm not too fond of the mask. Pass. Nuparu: Mask, I like. And shield, I like (to some extent). But you know what I like best? BLACK piraka feet! :'-) I'll probably get him for those three things, but I'm not really sure, since again, he is very similar to Nuparu Inika, design wise. Hewkii: Three parts in new colors, thats good. But the mask..... :-X He's probably the least like his Inika form, but also the ugliest. Most likely pass. :-/ Hydraxon: Now we're getting somewhere! I see pridak swords in silver, an awesome mask face thing, and a nice design overall! I'll probably get him. :-) Gadunka: WOAH. This guy's mouth is enormous! And he has silver piraka feet, silver ehlek spines, and an awesome face! I like! ;-) Maxilos and Spinax: *jaw drops* This guy is the BOMB! Cool mask face, sweet weapon, and AWESOME design overall! And his pet is cool, too! I'll be getting this baby for sure. *sweet* All playsets: Um, sorry, but aside from the heads, the figures are EXACTLY the same as the piraka and inika figures. And the sets themselves are crud (at least from what I see right now), although they have some cool sea creatures. Pass on all of them. *sad* And finally, the infamous Cordak Launcher: ..... :-X to the 20'th power! I thought the zamor were fine, since they still had a bionicle feel, but this, this is just plain old action figure junk. There's like 1 connection point on this... thing, and it just looks ridiculous on the Mahri and Titans. *n* *n* Overall: Again, mixed bag. The titans are great as always, but the Mahri are mostly a letdown. At least they have normal masks, and at least they are all different, but they just seem like a cheap rehash, sort of like "lets stick a cheesy weapon, new mask, and cruddy launcher on and call it a new set!" I'm liking them to some degree, and i'm sure parts monkeys will go wild, but I'm still a bit dissapointed. No more comment on the playsets and cordak launchers. :-|

9324 Micro Building set. It's only Dacta, but since we haven't gotten anything micro scale since the 2006 Lego factory kits, I thought I'd share the news.
-
Well, because the version seen in the TV series is much different than the one we have now, asside from the general style. I can see what you mean, though, and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make another one. ;-)
