*terible Girly voice impression* EEEEWWW!!! Heh, still, this is great. There's so many awesome building techniques used in this. Great job, even though it's possibly the most digusting use of lego I've ever seen. Um, I don't think crab is waste-brown and smells like dung.
  2. I dunno why people are disliking these new minifigs so much - I mean, I understand hating the new Anikan and Obi faces, but Asajj and Anikan's apprentice look fine, since they aren't human. And the rest - man, am I in love with it! Plo Koon is great - plus it's awesome to see another new Jedi Master. And that Magna guard... So much detail, and a great new body design. The best, however, has got to be the Clones. Those acessories are AMAZING, and yes - we finally get colored clone 1.0's! (the ones before the episode 3 ones, I mean.). Man, this new lineup is looking amazing.
  3. Ooh, I'm liking that. I wonder if it's just a quick cameo or if he has a decent role to play in the storyline again.
  4. Indeed. Of course, this being a leak and all, Greg F and TLC trying to keep the storyline safe by claiming that this is a concept video. The cool thing is - he never actually said that the footage hinting at Mata Nui being the universe is no longer valid in storyline. Whatever. It's not really his fault that he has to do this, after all. I mean, he can't even criticize any Bionicle set at all because he works for TLC. Oh, and I'm really happy right now. Because I will almost certainly be able to go to the new library event Greg is doing in July - since I live in Southeastern CT.

Wonderful MOC, Shine. I knew Jinzo was right when he said that those Pridak feet would be really useful, but you've managed to use other crazy pieces as well, including - of all things - Piraka heads! Plus, you've used some system as well, which is always a plus.
  6. I disagree. To tell you the truth, I'm really quite a fan of the alien ships. The 2007 ones were good, even though they were all very similar to each other, but I'm really a fan of this years ships, because they are all unique. I don't understand why people don't get the "organic ship" concept.
  7. Man, you just love your trans and glow in the dark, don't you Jinzo? But yeah, Ol' Taka 1.0 was quite a disapointment. Only good thing was the huge mega whoping total of 4 pieces of gold armor. I think I actually like him far better as a mega powerful titan, despite the lack of golden armor.
  8. Happy B-day! Hope you get lots of bricky goodness!
  9. I wouldn't know, since I've never watched any of them. From what I see though, almost all movies based on video games are crud, so it'd be nice if they stopped making them.
  10. To quote XwingYoda in a review "Let me make an analogy - oh great, another boba fett yay!!!!" That's another strength of Speed Racer - lots of different figs instead of the same ones - we even get some in different outfits! Indiana Jones could only dream.
  11. Woah, woah, slow down there for a second. Ruin their whole year of storyline? Look, seriously, we aren't "ruining" their year of storyline just because we're talking about something that was leaked. The person who leaked it in the first place "ruined it." Do you honestly expect us to pretend that this whoe thing never happened just to supposedly keep TLC's secrets safe? Besides, there's another thing: you know how everyone always says that BZP doesn't have that much influence on TLC because they are in the minority. Well, look at them - over 30000 members, and they don't even make up a fraction of Bionicle's fans. Now look at us - 1000 members or so on eurobricks. Now, if BZP has little influence on TLC, how much do you suppose Eurobricks has. Basically nothing. TLC may say otherwise, but a thousand members here aren't affecting bionicle much at all just by talking about an ALREADY leaked video, especially considering that only a small fraction of the members here spend time in this part of the forum, and considering that BZP and the members on it mostly ignore this forum. Look Swert, I respect you. You've done a lot to help bionicle, with Biosector01 at all. But frankly, of all things, this video may only make us respect TLC's new storyline decision even more. A lot of us are pleasant suprised by this, and who knows - TLC may just be playing the defender when they actualy planned this all out. I'm not sure I believe that, but TLC is a buisness, just like Lucasarts, Playmobile, and others. It's not like things like this are so shocking - nothing really is that much in the buisness world. I think you just are blowing this out of proportion - as again, Eurobricks has little to no effect at all on Bionicle, TLC, or the community as a whole. Yeah, guys. It was revealed a while ago that the original legend of Mata Nui was just that - a legend made up by the Matoran. Even in the bionicle world it doesn't have much influence at all, as the real storyline is different.
  12. IS and Staudie strike again! (yes staudie, I remembered you this time. ) AMEN! If Playmobile can make that stuff and do well, TLC can too. There's so many possibliites with the first two, and the third would be cool as well.
  13. Well, seriously, if TLC wants to blame someone, blame Amazon. Now that the trailers leaked and is widely available on Youtube, there's no point for eurobricks to ban discussion. I've always understood that BZP can't post stuff like taht because they have official affiliation with TLC, but Eurobricks doesn't. We've always been separate from TLC, and I don't think that will ever change, even if we don't talk about the trailer.
  14. Exactly. I mean, Galidor was just plain bad all over, and a complete betrayal of lego principles. Speed Racer on the other hand has been handled well, and even if the movie doesn't do well, the sets will probably do fine. I haven't bought any, but they look very well designed and have a ton of great parts and minifigs. Those three elements usually mean a set will sell well.
  15. Welcome, Bricker! No, actually your English and grammar are very good, considering that English is not your first language. So, another spacie, eh? Snefroe will be happy to hear that.
  16. Woah. Woahwoahwoahwoah - WOAH. Man, what a shocker. I never would have expected this - Mata Nui isn't somewhere in the universe: He IS the universe! Now this is sounding more like the original bionicle. It's great that Greg is still keeping elements of the old story style within the new story style. Yeah. Some people seem to think that greg is a constant liar and contradicts himself constantly. It's more that he constantly gives us as little info as possible to keep the storyline secret, even if it means using technicalities like this whole "Mata nui is not one of these things, he is ALL of them!" That's what I like about him.
  17. None taken. I've learned that joking around is a crucial element of the eurobricks spirit. Why else do we have silly titles? Er, funny, I haven't watched a movie for a few weeks. I think we're going to be going to both Indy 4 and Prince Caspian though.
  18. I think that considering what they said about the tight budget, they've done a really good job with it. The designs are fairly basic, yes, but they have a lot of character too. I think the only real odd thing is the eyes of the characters - which kinda are a bit unrealistic. Still, I like it. The great thing about the Spectacular Spiderman is that it really packs a lot of stuff into 20 minutes each week. There's an enormous amount of character development and a lot of classic plot twists - plus it stays very true to the original comics.
  19. Just wanted to discuss the new series on Kids WB. I've highly enjoyed it from day one and it keeps getting better and better. Favorite episode so far would have to be The Invisible Hand - which took a fairly boring villian (Rhino) and made a great story out of it. And Tombstone's first appearance was awesome, as was his second.
  20. Er, you took me too seriously and literally. I was saying that only in regards to there being romance in the spiderman movies at all, not about the actual plot. I know how the spiderman movies took so many elements and changed them - I was just using a really general statement.
  21. Jinzo, these MOC's are truly masterpieces. Not just because you combined several different themes and blended them to a wonderful consistency, but because you managed to use GALIDOR in an appealing way! Kudos to you for trying something so bold. No comment on your gallery, though.
  22. Man, when I was watching this movie, I was like "come on, not another recap of everything we already know!" At least until, I saw this: .... Mata Nui! I still can't see why we can't have several favorite years. I love 2001, 2004, and 2007 all equally, but for different reasons.
  23. Choice 3, hands down. Choice one would only get us a new figure or two, and choice two is just pathetic. Choice three, however, would likely get us a brand new space cruiser - possibly in the style of the Imperial Star Destroyer playset. And of course, it would bring Admiral Ackbar into minifig form for the first time! .... I REALLY like the sound of that.
  24. A few days ago I got Exo-Force Battle Arachnoid/Arachnoid Stalker/whateveritscallled. Great set - I love spider mechs, and this one is lovely.
  25. Happy birthday, Mr. Exo-Horse! Hey, maybe this time you'll get a red ghost minifig in a set you get for your birthday!
