The green and yellow work really well together here. I like the segway!
-
Thank you! Lego City has made a strong effort to go green! Thank you! I have a mediocre crane that i've pieced together but didn't affix it to the skyscraper. I'll have to do that and take a photo for you. Thank you! It's gotten out of control in the past couple of months. I had builders block for a while but now the ideas are rolling in! Few more photos... I'm going to place the Grand Emporium where the apple tree is currently sitting. A few of the ideas for future updates include: -multi color ice cream truck -tan hummer -pink car -pink bus -yellow jeep -modular hospital -2nd floor on the Ferrari shop -Apple Tree House modified -Theatre modified/expanded -McDonalds -and MOAR trees! haha -and park beautification

Excellent work! I was planning on converting the market into a modular style building and this is great inspiration.
-
Well thank you! Couple of updates!...

Thank you for putting this video together. I'm even more excited about the release of this great set.

Looking at your cafe has made me hungry! ..time for some food!

Creative way to blend the city corner into a modular style building! Nice work.

Thank you Sir! It's supported on plastic shelves that are intended for use in storage rooms or garages. Hopefully one day i'll have an entire room dedicated to nothing but LEGO. Thank you Sir! Very lucky indeed. Thank you Sir! It was fun modifying the town hall. We were short on dark green bricks but it worked out in the end. haha i guess there are more than enough trucks in the city...i'll work on some cars and other vehicles soon. Thank you Sir! I feel honored to have a MOC blogged. For more updates!.... a link to my flickr.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/erockonvolks/?saved=1 Thank you Sir! I will continue building and sharing the updates! It's a lot of fun haha.

I feel like i need to visit Walmart or somewhere like that to see if it's sitting on a shelf in the LEGO aisle.

This is an excellent design. 4 hours ago when i was going to get dinner there was a 3 axle heavy duty wrecker driving by that reminded me of your MOC. It was red too!! haha

Snowed in equaled lots of building in LEGO City!..a host of updates... Awaiting the Grand Emporium... Hope you enjoyed!

Very anxious for this set to be released!!!!
-
I love this! A lot of the pieces are from the green grocer. Definitely the hottest pizza shop around town! Very crisp photos too!

Thank you ILikePi!! Most of the foliage has been done by my girlfriend. She is pretty much an AFOL now as i have somehow gotten her to fall in love with the hobby. haha the red brick is a perfect size. I made more progress on the MOC yesterday and now i'm figuring out a modern design for the McDonalds. I've been looking at pictures or McDonalds and to my surprise there is a WIDE range when it comes to the design and layout of each location. And just last night my girlfriend brought a large box home and i looked up and said.."Deathstar"?! haha She told me it was an early Valentines and birthday gift, and that I could open it now if i wanted. I knew it had to be some sort of LEGO set because she looked anxious for the box to be opened. I looked at the UPS label and automatically it clicked in my head...."MONORAIL"!! And so it was!...the one set that I always would stare at in the LEGO catalog when i was 6 or 7. 6399 Airport Shuttle. I swapped the train track out with the monorail tracks and there was a perfect amount of straight track to run the length of the city. Pics to come soon!
-
hahaha I asked him if I could buy his MOC. My city could use a stunning piece of architecture.
-
Sliding door is cool! Just last night i was working on a monorail MOC and was trying to figure out how to make a door that slides. I had to pass on it because I failed to come up with an idea. Good work!

Est-ce que j'achete votre MOC Captain' Spaulding?! haha
-
Awesome! Reminds me of my friends white and black Ducati Monster.
-
You could make a Red Sea.
-
...evah?! nah. Lots more work to be done to even touch the surface of being the best city evah!! haha But thank you though!
-
Looking forward to the arrival of this set whenever that may be. You guys down under were lucky to receive the first batch!
-
Thanks for the review! I'm curious as to why there is no piece count on the box. I'm having visions of a large airport being built by someone. If i buy the new airport sets it will make for a grand total of 5 airplanes in my collection. hmmm!.. Definitely brings to mind the QUANTAS airlines with the red and white.
-
haha!...reminds me of the books "where's Waldo?"
-
There certainly could be an air balloon in the future haha. The possibilities are endless. and Thank you! Thank you the Inventor! Thank you legomaniac83! Lots of room always helps. We had a bunch of leftover pink elements from the Pink Hotel and decided to make an ice cream shop with the pieces. I did more work on the storefront today and will post the pictures momentarily. You are correct..technic brick with trans 1x1 plates secured to the back. Coming soon!! haha haha i've been bricking a lot the past few weeks. I'm sure there is no end in sight! Thank you wooootles! I went crazy with pink elements on bricklink! It's fun being inspired by something, and also inspiring others! Thank you Steel Dragon! Trees are fun because there are endless ways for them to work. Every tree is different. Now on for more photos... Furnished the bottom level of the family home... The owners decided to install a kitchen window, and also hired some landscapers!... These residents had an entire back porch added onto their creator home... Half shot of the 'what can brown do for you truck'!... There are some battery powered LEDs installed in the second floor of the family home... Lots of rain translated into ample foliage... And last, but not the least, progress with the LEGO LEGO store!!!!

That's one radical rig. Very nice execution!
