whew thats a long drive! There is a LEGOLand opening next fall in Florida which will be about a 9 hour drive from where i live. Thanks for the comments! You might have! Yeah I wouldn't sell spidey if I were you unless you really needed to. What designs did you come up with?! Oh yes! I should post that here. Thanks for the comments! Here is an 8-wide school bus that i've recently built. There is a new type of bus roaming the streets that I might try and replicate next. It looks really modern with rectangular lights instead of the traditional round caution lights. And the part where it 'Plays Well'... ..i ran out of brown seats so until then only 5 students will be able to ride along haha.

I might go browse the LEGO aisle in toysrus just to see if the truck is in stock. All the trans black windows in windscreens in 8404 is making me giddy.

That's a very comprehensive city you've got there! It has everything a minifig would need to survive. I like how you've modified a lot of the sets. And was that a donut truck i spied?!
-
Excellent details!

I'm sure someone in the world is working on a minifig scale maersk ship right this very second.
-
I enjoy seeing what you come up with. I love the details, from the shelves to the clear 1x2 bricks, to the burberry pattern on the floor.
-
I forget when the release is, but the London Bridge will be one, and then a bakery shop about the size of the Winter Toy Shop probably in October. Back on March 17 I snuck a little hint in about the Maersk ship but no one believed me. hehhe.

Thanks! My girlfriend did the entire interior of the bottom level. I went to work and came home to find what she had been up to. haha OUCH! that's a long long ways! Thanks! I wonder how much spider man is going for now?! I'll probably finish the McD truck soon, maybe even tonight. I'll tell my girlfriend! She did a great job, i'm proud of her.
-
I think the London Bridge is going to be an exclusive in the near future.

Thank you lightningtiger! I will certainly I'm a conformist!. An hour?! haha nice. I hope you enjoyed the thread. Maybe one day i'll find a spiderman mini. Thank you Zorbas! Thanks prateek! My girlfriend had built that a while back and I spotted it sitting between two of the tan houses. I immediately thought it would look good inside the box i had made on the corner. haha you should go back and see if there are any left on the wall. Thanks for the comments. Here is a shot of the inside...

Thanks for all your comments! Thank you! The room is a lot crazier than it looks in the photos too haha. I find building cars to be a harder task than trucks. Thank you! You're right about the size factor haha. IKEAs are massive structures. But now that you mention it looks like a Best Buy.... maybe it could be either/or?! In the last 24 hours, we decided to design, build, and finish a modular corner building. We decided the best fit would be a post office!... Here is what we came up with..

Thank you Sir! Well i've got a few updates. I am having trouble focusing with one MOC. Ideas will pop up in my head and i'll start on new ones. Right now there are 4 or 5 ongoing projects haha. Does anyone else ever have that issue?! ... Started on a modular IKEA. The idea probably came from the fact that i finally stepped inside a real IKEA about two weeks ago. I found out that if you eat in the IKEA foodcourt on thursday evenings, you will receive a coupon to use in the store for the amount you spend buying food. I walked out with a nice new table for .89 cents!! I'm now using it as a build table. Go figure! My girlfriend made all the furniture. There will be an elevator in the corner. And here is what I have so far with the McDonald's recycling truck.. That's all for now.

You, Sir, are out of control. Simply stunning details!! Well done.
-
Great idea! If i were a minifig I would certainly be getting a membership today.
-
I lied! The lime green McDonalds truck was put on the back burner. In the meantime, i've built a Coca-Cola truck and my girlfriend built a modular bank while I worked on a Dunbar armored truck. Here are some updates!... I also decided to redo the Chick-fil-a into a modular version. That's all for now.

Congrats on acquiring the historic airport shuttle. I know how much they go for online, and it certainly requires some debate before purchasing haha.
-
I love it! Good work and nice photo.
-
Amazing MOC and awesome photos! Keep up the good work.
-
8404 looks awesome! Thanks for that link.
-
I passed a barn like this today and it reminded me of your awesome MOC. Good work!
-
Thanks for your comment! That's a good observation. I'll take a look at the design and see what can be done to lower the step platform. Should look pretty radical being entirely lime green with black accents! Thank you Sir! The interior is unfinished. There is a lot of room for improvements inside! I will have to build this truck soon since a couple of you guys are anxious!
-
Awesome job! Your MOC is motivating me to hurry up and design a McDonalds for my own town. I've been telling myself for a long time but it just hasn't happened yet haha.
-
^haha thanks! I'm also planning on building this lime green McDonald's truck...
-
Those are some super duper high res pics! Thanks for posting those.

I built another ambulance!.. Tomorrow i'm attending my first LEGO fan festival which is very exciting. Nathan Sawaya is a special guest that will be there.
