Very nice work! I built one of these back in May.
-
I picked this set up the first week it was out. Good set!

The Concord Mills store opens tomorrow!!!!
-
The school bus is highly accurate! I've been working on one as well...it's more along the lines of a modified bus from the city corner set. Good work once again!

Thank you! So far the city hasn't collected much dust, but when the time comes i'll probably use the dyson with the brush attachment. Thank you! It's growing with a quickness! I figured i would put the train station on the support beams just to see how it would look, and it seems to look fine sitting in the air. When i get around to it, i'll finish off the back and maybe even make the platform bigger. It should turn out nice! The Chili's idea came about because i always eat at that restaraunt, so i figured I would design it to fit with the modular lineup. The main element to a chili's restataunt is the famous big red pepper, and this was my closest rendering of one haha. The tan house was a fun project. It turned out beyond my expectations, and i hope to build another one in the future!

Yes indeed!...the post office is superb.

Thank you! The costume shop idea came about when i was wondering how i could use the various other minifigs that didn't quite go along with the city theme. A costume shop immediately popped up in my head! I also have one of the old pirate ships that I could try and incorporate into the city once i get around to adding a harbor/beach. Thank you! I think you spelled it correctly haha. My city is no where near the level of your cruise ship! Whenever the harbor is built, feel free to come dock at our Port!! Thank you! It was fun building the houses. Hopefully we will build more elaborate ones in the future.

REVIEW: 8169 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4!
ACCURATEin replied to Tung T. Le's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's awesome! Thanks for the review. Sold out quick!!! -
Yes! It's taking over the entire room. My dream is to have a large room dedicated for LEGO. Thanks for the comments! There are a few things that can be done to make the chickfila even better, perhaps i'll do those modifications in the future. And i eat at chickfila about once a week, so it was inevitable that i was going to build one haha!! Thank you! If you really push for it, you'll find a way to make a Lego City fit right into one of your rooms. I thought long and hard as to how this was going to be made a reality. hahaha i didn't even notice that. Perhaps it's the cities first topless pizza parlor!! And yes you may place your reservations now! Visit www.thepinkhotel.com ..(I wonder if that's an actual website) Right now the store only has the storm trooper costume. A vader costume would sell very well i'm sure! Thank you Sir!! I hope to build many more things, and will hopefully finish off a lot of the projects that have already begun. I'm finding it's kind of fun to jump around from MOC to MOC.

I like the gun rack! Some of my friends would love to live in a house like that. It would be their dream come true haha.

As of May, the resources lady from LEGO said there are plans to open 75 stores in the near future.

Officers on duty.. Modified one of the city corner buses into an American school bus. Still more work to be done to complete the look... My girlfriend built the park!! Ferrari has built a shop in Lego City as well!! Spoon Sports has also opened up shop right next door to Ferrari.. The Spoon Sports shop will be scaled rather accurately, and will include a second level. A working car elevator is also in the plans. Chilis Restaraunt and Bar is being constructed right next to Market Street. The new Firestation will be placed on the opposite side of the Chilis. The Firemen will be happy!!! View of Main Street. That's all for now! Stay tuned for more developments.

Lots of progess is being made in Lego City. Houses, restaraunts, and shops are all finding their place inside the city. Enjoy the pics!! Grand opening of the pizza villa! (modified city corner) Octan receives a revamped car wash! Power functions motor preparing to power the wind mill!! A view of the elevated Lego City Transport station (LCT) I'm going to use yellow as the official color of the transport system. The rear of the station will be modified to look nice just like the track side of the station. The residents of Lego City will surely benefit from the addition of their newest retail store... a Home Depot Express concept store!! Duke Life Flight paramedics and Ferrari squad eating MOAR chicken!! The Pink Hotel is on the backburner! A new costume store is also in the works! New addition to residential row. (modified family home)

You are a very good truck builder! I like the mud flaps and the use of the official colors of the two brands.
-
Awesome!!! I'm loving the city thus far. The vestas looks gigantic! The half pipe is a nice touch. The elevation changes are a grand idea. I've thought of doing that as well, and maybe your city will serve as inspiration for the future of my city. I also like the elevated train above the center of the road. I can't wait to see how that turns out. Good work! and i'm excited to see future developments.

WOAH!!! Super impressive MOC here. I'm sure it feels great to be finished and to sit and admire the final product. Congratulations and job well done. Welcome to Eurobricks! Nice..i just seen all of the pictures in the facebook album. Does she have a scheduled Maiden Voyage in the future?! I see her sitting beside the pool. It looks tempting to lower her into the water. I might also suggest a railing for the upper deck, and perhaps the use of some tiles in certain locations. I like how the minifigures are scattered about the ship.

Yes for those that are itching to visit their newest Lego retail store, the store usually opens about 2 weeks prior to the grand opening festivities. They do not announce the soft opening date. This gives the employees time to get comfortable with everything before the mad house during the grand opening.

If Lego does decide to open one in SC, it will probably end up at the Boardwalk in Myrtle Beach.

I would love to see these setup in a row. The beginning of a neighborhood is at your footsteps!

Monorail Emerald Night Train from Brickworld
ACCURATEin replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Train Tech
There is so much grandiosity within this design that I am in a state of shock! It is such a great idea to modify something and make it into something that has never before been done. This layout is looks similar to the main street in my Lego City. Except for the execution of the elevated train has surpassed the level that mine currently rests. I am tempted to source some monorail tracks, even though I am afraid there will be none available anywhere!! haha. Very nice work here! I must now watch the video once again!! -
Very much to my surprise this set was available at the local Toysrus! I was under the impression that this set was not going to be made available in the United States according to the Lego website. So without hesitation, my girlfriend and I purchased the set. I'm going to motorize the kit.
-
Intricacy in detail! Goes very well with the modulars.
-
Someone get this set and incorporate the power functions motor to make the turbine spin!!
-
You are a superb lego vehicle builder! Your ambulance design is superior to mine due to the functionality of the rear and side door. I like the idea for the side mirrors on the taxi and police car.
-
Those trees look fantastic! The bird house is a nice touch.
