  1. One of our local AFOL customers came in and bought two GEs, and then returned a few days later and bought another one. He was morphing them together and will have some results probably sometime this week. Great work Svelte! You're now an experienced GE putter together guy! haha
  2. I wonder if there is any chance the US will see this set on the shelves. Thanks for the review!
  3. what is an expert tag?!
  4. haha i voted to never stop!! Keep on going my friend!
  5. I was waiting for someone to do this! Are you the same person that built the smart car dealership? I had suggested that the creator of that dealership make more smart cars in different colors. Nice work!
  6. I keep trying to think of what comes to mind in regards to the term 'public transport'. The only two things I can think of is a bus and a lightrail/monorail. Also, i wonder if there will be another cargo ship in the future. ?! Maybe a MAERSK blue or something of that nature. hmm.
  7. The Green Grocer is what initially drew my attention and started this entire ordeal in my living room. haha. So the GG stands as my favorite modular out of the collection.
  8. Those are some good finishing touches mate!
  9. Thanks for all the comments lightningtiger! I will certainly continue to 'brick'!..although the pace might slow down a bit as the warmer months are approaching. Thank you prateek! Thanks for the comments awesomebrick! An award?! haha Maybe one day! Thank you danim! Yes you did spy the second bookend in the wall of the Ferrari building. Good eyes! Thank you John31388! Just keep building and collecting and building! Everyone's towns will all look superb when it's all said and done.
  10. Great design! I like the work done inside the car as well.
  11. Awesome Shell station! You paid a lot of attention to detail and the stickers really make this MOC come to life.
  12. ok you guys are getting me excited about this "LEGO City Public Transport" !!! What could it be?!?! 2010 year of rails?! (passenger train, freight train, and monorail)?!
  13. Thanks! The black cabin was inspired by this brand new fire truck I passed on the interstate while driving home a couple weeks ago. I searched forever for an image of it online, and was able to find one very similar to the one i saw. Here is the photo i found.. Thanks for the comments on my updates!
  14. Thank you! There is a lot more detailing to be done with the med center. It's mostly a frontal shell right now. Thank you! Thank you! Now that you've mentioned it, i guess a lot of the buildings really do have different styles. I've got plans to build one of those new 'dynamic architecture' skyscrapers where each floor rotates. It should be a pretty fun project. Thank you! Thank you! I haven't calculated any specific numbers, but there is a good amount! haha Thank you! Thank you! There will be many more updates through the months. And now a look at some WIPs and new photos...! WIP 8 wide pumper. The cabin can lift off as the yellow stripe is a tile. Ice cream truck is now complete with the lime green wheel arches. WIP 8 wide 'The Buried Life' bus. 10 wide squeezing into the lane. A closer look at the LEGO bookend that was worked into the back side of the theatre. That's all for now!
  15. I think if i would have seen the car before the title i would have guessed it was an old school bimmer. It looks really good! I see you used light gray and light bluish gray tiles. I do that all the time! Someone should do a scene where half of a car is light gray and the other half is light bluish gray, and have someone washing the car. The light gray will be the dirty half and the other half will be the clean side. just a thought!
  16. Your MOC has features that remind me of a Historic Spanich hotel that I stayed at in Los Angeles. Nice work!
  17. Fabulous MOC and nice techniques. You are an expert builder Sir!
  18. I like the chrome pieces for the bumper. Also, great progress on the building.
  19. I've seen quite a few minifig scale fire trucks, and this one is by way my favorite out of ALL of them. With all the fire truck MOCs in a past few months, i have been thinking of building one myself. On the way home from work last week, i saw a brand new fire truck that distinctly caught my attention. Great job with this MOC. I love 8 weight trucks.
  20. I started building an 8-wide bus last night and as far as the interior is concerned, 8 wide allows for enough room inside the cabin to add certain details that would be impossible if I built it in 6-wide. I guess it all depends on what you're trying to achieve with each build.
  21. LEGO will come out of their comfort zone and widen their horizon, i have no doubt about this. As long as the kit sells.
  22. That's one hot gas station attendant! haha Nice work once again. The stickers are a great touch.
  23. Yes indeed, the cinema has been transforming week after week. Inside is going to be stadium seating. The original popcorn display from the town plan is still in place. Thank you Sir! I wish I could have some of your creations inside my town! The minifigs in my city currently have no where to fill gas or buy tires!! haha "the sky is the limit"! Thank you for your comments Sir. It's hard to get the camera into the city to take some good shots, but for that one photo in particular i actually just turned the camera to it side and pretty much had it resting on the baseplate to achieve that angle. I will try and get some more photos with that angle tonight. I have also received a small bricklink order today which included the lime green wheel arches and will have some updates in a few hours. I am about to start working on an old purple bus for the time being!
  24. I was studying the back of the box today while on break, and there seems to be a build mistake in one of the pictures.
  25. Superb MOC! You are definitely an expert. The train looks phenomenal. I hope to build on your level one of these days.
