I find this on Brickset Does anybody know if it will be a regular set or a set that you can buy only taking the plane? I just hope that it will not be the last proposition. Even if it's not THE set of the year, it's always good to have new old school plane...

Houses like caf

I've bought my Shipwreck set, with other sets :-$ In fact, all the AR sets and the two last Vikings sets I don't have (fortress and double catapulte). It's the first time for me I will have all the set from a line. Yes, I'm a city fan, but don't have all the city sets, and there are I don't want like the playmoplane! Anyway. And the first time I spend so much money in LEGO in one time! *wacko*

Really nice house! I like the fact that you can open it! I'm like Bonaparte, I find the white roof windows too modern for this medieval house. But you've made a good job *y*

I have though that this little promotional crappy set was the 10181... Sorry! 10178 "became" 10181... Ok!

Very hard to choos just one theme, so City for me. But Creator are as good as City sets. And I like the new AR a lot. And the SB are so cool! And the new castle line is nice too (except from this squeleton tower. Damn, there is the princess in it...). And I really like the new Technic sets (even if I don't buy a lot of Technic, because I like the bigger one, but they are also the more expensive...). But SW, Mars mission and EF, not for me! I don't have any look for them, like Bionicle, which is not my cup of tea...

Thanks for the comments! Lego2000, like Hobbes said, you can't park a long and tall car in the garage, like the new fire pick-up. But small cars from 80's and 90's, I think they can enter... The fact that we don't have windows in the back of the house is not a matter for me cause I will make one with this set without back, like my other houses :-D And Yoda, I'm like you, I don't know what style of house I will keep for my town...

ref: 4956 name: house pieces: 731 Another white house with ref roof! Yes, but for a city fan, this kind of sets are always welcome! First I want to say that this set is better than the "old" bonanza (4886). In fact, with the new set, we have 3 beautifull models, and not just one, with two crappy alternative models. With the Bonanza set, you just have the pieces of the principal house, and you could build some other sets with this parts section. With this new set, it's like 3 designers have built each a model, and TLC takes the common pieces in one set, with some extra parts to build the 3 constructions. For the first building, you have two small houses. And in the 5 first minutes, I thought that I've got some mistaken instructions. In fact, you have 2 books (like in a lot of sets now), one for each big houses. And the instrcuctions for this model is cut in two, an half in each book. Strange... So, for those two houses which are simple, you can't put out the roofs, so you can't see that you don't have nay interiors. But we have some nice things like a mailbox and a kennel. They are simple but nice. Here a pic: And now, the two big houses. TLC gives us two different houses: an american style home, and a more european one. It's a good marketing strategie, becaus, with one set, TLC touches two big markets, with their own style influence. So, in european stores, you find the set with the european house on the box, and vice-versa in the US. We find the same thing with the Technic set 8284 with which the tractor has more an european feeling than the buggy. So TLC has made a reverse box for a reverse set. I don't know if I'm clear in what I'm saying... So, here some pics of the european house: Nothing special to say about this house it's simple but effective. And here the american house: I really like the "outdoor corridor" and the feeling of this house. Maybe because it's more "exotic" for Europeans like me. And the so US mailbox! But I find a strangeness in the construction: Why tusing some clips instead of 1x1 plate pieces? None of the 3 models need clips... So, in conclusion, I find this set really better than the Bonanza. It's a good addition for a city. Because even if the houses are too big if you want some minifig scaled ones, it's a very good way to have some classic but so useful parts. I will work on downsized them... :-) And can't wait to have the tan house creator set... For more pics of the 3 models, just look here.

With the inventory, it seems that you can build 2 models... l will wait to see the online instructions to see if I will buy it or not. If there is just one train that I find very good, a classic factory comand will be cheaper, and with the money I will save, I will buy a motor. But just maybe for now...

February, the 17th Set#: 5978 Set Name: Sphinx Secret Surprise Number of pieces: 342 Number of minifigs: 7 Year of release: 1998 Dear Eurobrickers, Here a review of one of my adventure: This is the medium set from the first line of my adventures, and my favourite, because we are a lot of minifigs in it, with a lot of accessories, in a so wonderfull site with a lot of secrets. First, a general view of the site: And here a closer view of the camp: My team has everything they need: a camp fire and a tent, where each, boys and girls, sleep the night� *sweet* The tent is made with a structure and a piece of cloth, nice but a little fragile. And we have also some accessories for our discoveries, the goal of our expedition (dynamite, magnifying glass, gun, hatchet and maps). Here a sarcophagus with a mummy in it. Just take the camera and film this before to load the car with it. And it�s the first time we have a vehicle in which we, minifigs, can be two beside each others! :-P Don�t be afraid with this small scorpion� ...and you will find a map with some gold coins, and a snake! Not a matter for me, remembered, I�m an adventurer! We can�t work quietly; we always meet those two bad guys! But because they are bad, all the disasters fall on them! Just look! Don�t go too much closer� �or the obelisk will fall down! What a pity, he isn�t hurt! >:-) And you know, it�s the same with the diamond� ...in worse, because the haunted mummy takes care of it, under the sphinx� So after all those mishaps, I stop those bad guys and we will go to the next site.
