    I did some math based on volvo loader an euro price.By brickset, they say that PPP is 13,4 cent.I assuming that smaller set has worst PPP ratio, so my calculation is about 500 pieces for this vehicle.https://rebrickable.com/mocs/BricksLEGOHovel/lego-42048-c-model-ripsaw This model is only C model of artic vehicle, but is the minimum for making tracked vehicle and has around 900 pieces.So i call total BS for this set to be RC...Or this RC mean release candidate...

    I think they go the same way as with Lego movie, isnt Ninjago movie set for fall 2017 so Im expecting another Ninjago D2C.

    I think arkham Asylum is D2C of this movie.Also there is rumour about hospital in D2C range, I know this could be stupid but what if somebody call Arkham only as hospital.

    I dont believe that tracked racer is so cheap , I mean they can lower price of components, but PF cost for motorizing tracked vehicle alone about 80 euro according to S@H.

    You know real price or any other info about this set?Please tell something .I cannot sleep so Im thinking, what if that tracked vehicle isnt RC in terms of power functions but literally, some futuristic remote controlled racing vehicle with tracks like some of ripsaw army vehicles in real life. Easy push-pull vehicle with possibility of making it motorized.Could have interesting suspension, fake engine, some other function opening canopy of engine and cargo bay.Price 80€ now seems to me realistic.

    This must be mistake i dont believe about rc set in this price range.I search for lego ripsaw on youtube but only pieces except motors looks like 80€ alone, for example Sariel ripsaw.I think PF 2.0 will be maybe cheaper but still.I think price is 179 € .

    Many functions or set pattern are reused, lego technic has 40 years history so this is nothing shocking.Is only matter in which body these functions came and how great these functions are working.For me cargo plane is less interesting that jet .Also this will be first jet in that price point in 40 years history.     IMO Grohl already show us Air race jet Imagine this in fancy colours, without guns and probably we know what this will have.

    There are almost zero medium or big cars and heavy duty machinery, so IMO 2H half will bring these. 42029: Customised Pick-Up Truck needs succesor.

    There are rumours that Modular building series gets huge hospital for ten years anniversary , bug still only rumours.I hope there is something for technic as well, but this year we get ultimate models in terms of quality or exclusivity, so I dont think this will be next year too. EDIT.:I have idea!For first PF they develop Buldozer, for PF 2:0 they can develop snow groomer with same functions .

    On the other hand we have new bucket pieces in BWE, so this could mean new backhoe loader with claas tires or excavator in RC .

    It will be 6 years ago in 2017 when was 9398 released.Also I think we will see something RC with new PF.But still first technic set was forklift, so at least one forklift must be next year .

    Good idea!Race truck never been build in scale 1:10 as main model.I think new year must be something different that do not resemble street car because of Porsche.Tilting cabin or hood and spoiler, interesting aerodynamic design, blue and white colour.That would be dream. And what about rally truck?Or trophy truck.

    IMO we dont see any kind of tractor in 2-3 years, because it will for sure canibalize Xerion sales.Also IIRC there are mostly at least two years gap beetween same license.Preparation of new set goes with sales scanning. What I like to see?In first half sure somekind of motorbike and flagship if patern is same any kind of racing vehicle.We had Formula, Le Mans Prototype, but we dont have any kind of rally car or buggy nor monster truck.

    LCPD is overpowered lego city is literally police state, so everybody is afraid .

    How it is with quality issue?I dont think about lego quality, but still for most kids and parents this could be deal.Is difference paying 300 euros or 100 dollars...Lego can take note from this and lower price in Europe.

    When I first saw this set I fall in love but I was dissapointed that there isnt any typical tractor suspension or 4x4 with fake engine, but now I see that it is impossible to implement if there is such intricate steering mechanism. I only hope that there will be more Claas models such as combine harvesters and these tires will be use in monster truck or any sort of offroad car.

    I think that modular building will be something like this, I dont think that inverted corner will look great or usable in modular street. Taken from that italian forum mentioned few pages back.

    I saw this in 2017 city forum, please check corner art where is interesting modular building.It has 4 floors like rumours say looks like corner or inverted corner type of building.Seems very detailed unlike other buildings in art. For me it looks like some hospital with generous design of 30' .
