So much happening and so little time left in the day. George's posts feel fluffy in a way I can't quite articulate. I don't necessarily agree with all of Eloise's points against him though. Clarke is starting to seem more suspicious in my eyes. So far a lot of his posts have felt very non commital - he hasn't really given any strong thoughts or opinions about anyone aside from voting for Eloise.
-
I’m torn to be honest. I don’t think anyone here has said anything outright scummy. Voting for someone with a penalty isn’t necessarily wrong in my eyes, there are 5 of us anyway and three of those (myself included) have a penalty vote - and we have to vote for someone. On the basis of inactivity I’m going to Vote: Susan (Mostlytechnic)
-
Yes, I’d also be interested to know what Eloise’s reasoning is.
-
Don’t feel bad for the naught listers! They’ve taken our toys. Possibly yes. Last Christmas I was given a wonderful book that could help us in situations like this. Truth is there are so many different setups that could work I don’t know.
-
Feeling like we might have to at this rate
-
It wouldn’t be too improbable. I’m sure there have been larger games where the killer and protector have targeted the same player. This could also be a good theory. And a good Christmas dinner!

Apologies, I wasn’t aggrieved by it so much but rather just wanted to provide a justification for my vote. A recruitment essentially means a naughty lister recruits/converts someone on the good list to the naughty list. If the naughty lister did have a recruitment action I imagine it would be one shot as the game would be over pretty quickly in a game this size. Clark is also correct though - there are so many different possibilities that could’ve happened last we can’t be sure of a recruitment.
-
Yes, I am wondering what’s going on. With such as small number of us I wouldn’t be surprised if a blocker/protector (if we have one) got the correct target. With a small setup I do also wander if a recruitment took place last night and there are now two naughty listers.
-
I apologise for my late vote - I typed the comment but didn’t hit post until later at which point our host had already ended the day. That being said my reasoning and option still stand. I’m wondering why Clark called out myself instead of Susan when he only made one fluff post.

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Yeah I’d love something like that. You could also throw in some speeder bikes and an AT-ST as well. If they really wanted to they could even include the walkway section of the landing pad where Luke and Vader meet. Apart from the diorama and some 4+ sets we haven’t really had any proper Endor sets in the last decade so I do hope they go all out on this one. -
The only one that comes to mind would be a Creator style Ford Anglia. But I agree, I don’t mind not having a D2C this year either. I’m really excited for the main tower - I feel like it’s the one of the few aspects of Hogwarts that (excluding microscale sets) Lego haven’t quite mastered. The 2010 version was pretty good but didn’t have a lot of space and the 2018 version was pretty empty.
-
I enjoyed it, good cast and it seems pretty confident with the story they want to tell. In other related news, Ahsoka Season 2 is definitely moving ahead and filming early next year.
-
Yeah there’s so much potential there - they’ve got 25 films to choose from after all. I’m not sure how well either DB5 sold but I’d love to see something emerge - even a CMF series would be nice.
-
As oppose to Susan? Who has made one generic post? I’m not sure I buy that. I’m going to Vote: Clark (Bob)
-
Oh wow, I didn’t expect Marge’s Visit to be $90, I guess it must include all of Privet Drive as oppose to a small section of it - or it could be a mini build able Aunt Marge The Hogwarts Tower sounds great. The 2018 one was a little empty and I don’t recall the 2020 system having one? I imagine they’ll be able to include a lot at the price range.
-
I could see it going either way, but if I had to choose I would also lean to there being one scum. I always wanted the Home Alone set - my favourite Christmas film.
-
So no toys and we have an evil Santa to deal with? Oh dear.
-
An unreleased trailer from a cancelled James Bond game has been doing the rounds - I think it was meant to be from Lego Dimensions had it been given a third series. Even if we didn’t get the game it would be nice to get some sets.

Noooooo! The toys! Who would steal the toys?

Holiday Madness Mafia: Confirmation and Discussion

Scott confirming in! -
Yeah, I assumed that the Potions classroom was a one-off thing but it seems the approach (at least for the classrooms) is to have them slide into the shell of the castle. I would much rather have the classrooms built into the castle rather than the castle being used as a container for the classrooms. The Knight Bus looks good, I like the addition of Padfoot and the Sleeping Witch but it does look as though we’ve lost the shrunken head. Stan Shunpike’s cap also seems to be the one they used in the older sets as oppose to the newer one they used in the 2019 version. The whole set weirdly sort of feels like an upgrade and a downgrade at the same time.

That interior looks better than I expected actually. There’s a good few rooms and it looks like you can sit 6 figures round the main table. I also love the two portraits that they’ve included. The bedroom, kitchen, toilet and organ room are also really nice touches - there was no need to have any of those rooms in the set but I’m glad they put them in. Yes, they’ve already done the moving beds and chandelier in previous versions so I’m wondering if there’s some mechanism that allows it to expand in some way or something. For the Aunt Marge set, I wonder if it’s just the back section of Privet Drive with the Kitchen, dining room and conservatory.

Yeah, I’d have preferred that or even the TCW Season 4 Maul. I don’t mind the microfighter too much but on balance I agree. It does feel like the days of getting sets that could be displayed and “played” with together have gone. I think Lego are really trying to appeal to Star Wars fans outside the usual AFOL demographic (as they’ve been doing with other themes as well. But it does mean we are getting less connectivity between sets. For the 2 Jedi, I’m hoping we get Kit Fisto and maybe Sassee Tin. -
Mafia is back! 1. Played a few games here and there. 2. Yes 3. UCS Millenium Falcon (If anyone has £750 to spare please PM me) 4. Prefer boards but I’m happy to use Discord too.
