  1. I saw Shazam! the other day. Overall I really liked it. The film got quite dark in some places but on the whole it was generally light hearted and fun. I thought both the Shazam actors and their “regular” versions were played really well. I felt like the humour was a it off in comparison to the trailers. There were some good gags. But a lot of them didn’t pay off.
  2. That Maxine minifigure is brilliant. The expression has been captured so well.
  3. The last two sets are fairly decent. It is a shame that characters like Hamm and Bullseye don’t show up although maybe they don’t appear in the scenes in which the sets are based? I agree and actually I don’t mind having one or two 4+ sets. I just wish the WHOLE wave wasn’t compromised of them. I prefer the way the upcoming Batman wave has been handled. Two 4+ sets and the remaining 4 sets being regular scale.
  4. I think it’s meant to be the elevator that has the Bruce Wayne/Batman transformation feature like the 2012 Batcave.
  5. It’s great they continued the torso print on the legs for the Sirius figure. Not too sold on the hair just yet. It feels a tad too “big” if that’s the right word. (And I guess it doesn’t help the head is angled to one side). But hopefully it’ll look better in the official pictures.
  6. The Shrunken Head looks decent, alright it would benefit from a hairpiece. Ernie Prnag looks good though.
  7. I’m definitely getting a Toy Story 2 vibe. Woody tries to save a toy... he gets lost... it’s up to the other toys to find him and bring him back. I feel like they could spice it up by maybe bringing back an old villain like Lotso.
  8. The Sirius torso looks fantastic. Excellent they've even got the markings on his chest
  9. A Quidditch World Cup could work. I think LEGO do have an existing tent piece which was in the Indiana Jones line. (Though it would defeat the purpose of it being bigger on the inside) Or otherwise they could go for a brickbuilt tent that unfolds. Similar to Newt’s suitcase. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Amos Diggory.
  10. I like that idea. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Wardrobe the Boggart is kept in. And maybe a record player too. It would also be a good place for the Bricktober Snape.
  11. That would be a good choice, they could even use Filch's headpiece in white. I'm also exited to see what the Shrunken Head will look like
  12. On the whole a solid set of minifigures. It's good to see another Dumbledore variant and they've absolutely nailed Harry Something about Hermione's face feels a little off it's hard to pinpoint what. But otherwise a good figure.
  13. Unfortunately, the Great Hall didn't come with one. Though there are elements of it (like Fawkes and the Sorting Hat) included. Plus qe had the Pensieve in the CMF series. In the films I believe it's located in one of the protruding towers from the Grand Staircase Tower. Since that's impossible at that scale I'm holding out there will be one in a future wave. (Possibly HBP).
  14. The Stag and Buckbeak are beautiful I agree Buckbeak could have had a tad more detailing on his sides. But still a solid mound nonetheless.
  15. I'm happy with that too. IIRC I don't think we've had a Yule Ball set before. So it's nice to see LEGO are covering new material as well as retreading things they've covered before. Hopefully this also means we get the Patil twins.
  16. Really good work I like how you've made the set more open. I'm also liking the various architecture on the top of the wall. Good use of the 1x1 circular tile pieces too!
  17. Obi-Wan's Hut is also listed as part of the rumoured line up. Sounds interesting as I think it's one of the few things other than Yavin IV we haven't got.
  18. Finally, an Indy MOC! I love it. Lots of great details in a small space without feeling too cramped.
  19. It's a mixed wave. I know there's still another few to come but from what we've seen so far there's nothing I would single out as really good or a day one purchase. RC is scaled a lot better and I like some of the theme park elements, although it's a shame the roller coaster doesn't have any dips or slopes to make it even a little more interesting. One thing I liked about the original wave was the way LEGO handled scale in the sets. Builds like the Pizza Planet truck and the Garbage truck weren't massive, but they were larger than minifigure scale to help convey the fact these were toys running around in Human vehicles. Yet here you don't get that same feeling. Might be nitpicking for 4+ sets but that's my thoughts.
  20. I guess it makes sense the sets have been sized down. Since a regular AT-AT constantly knocked over would result in a lot of small pieces all over the living room floor! I thought that too. You have two factions, each with specific targets. In the same way Battlefront games encourage you to take out certain ships/bases. I'll echo that the Box Art for the 20th Anniversary sets are amazing. The Slave is a definite buy. As is the Podracer.
  21. Could the Triawizard Tournament be a combination of all three challenges maybe? As opposed to just the Dragon Challenge, maybe the lake and made challenge are included as well.
  22. If it’s true, then it sounds very exciting! And what’s great is that Christmas is always depicted in the films. So as others have said, we can expect a lot Christmas/Winter/Hogsmede versions of characters.
  23. Seeing as the original set was more a less two minifigures, I love the addition of the tower and play function. I also love the positioning of the Knight Statue
