Great MOC! Here is what stands out to me. The burning roof is very realistic and an amazing technique, I like it a lot. The black "roasted" pirate is a fantastic touch! The guy on the ground next to him with the bleeding throat is awesome too! I don't think I see two people "dying" the same way anywhere in this MOC. Shows a lot of imagination and attentiont to detail! VERY NICE! I'll be honest when I say I don't like Islanders... but I'm afraid of them now! Especially the shooting fire part. -Super -
This is not an MOC, it is a work of art. Every detail, every square inch is completed to the highest order and quality. I can honestly say that this is one of the finest ships I have ever seen made out of LEGO. As always sir, I bow my head and tip my hat to your dedication and building detail. I am very amazed and almost in shock and how perfect this ship is. Perhaps this once I will let you have this: "British for the win!" Congrats on this fine creation! You have my envy and pride.

*Crawls out of a pile of LEGOs and is foaming at the mouth* No more! No more! I can't handle anymore! -
Dude, for $50 you made off like a bandit! Even if you just bought it for parts and mini-figs that is still a steal! NICE!

Let the Black Sheep say his peace... NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!\ What the heck are you guys talking about?! I want blue coats! I want about 40 unique sets of blue coats before I would even come close to considering buy another one of those CRAPPY armada sets. ARE YOU GUYS NUTS? Their ships were CRAP. Their bases and forts were CRAP. The only redeeming feature was the mini-figs, but they were not better than blue coats or even red coats. And most of mine got mixed into my red coats as "boat masters" anyway. If Spanish sets came back before blue coats, I would not give LEGO another cent of my money. I have already bought one of each set, and I buy a cannon battle and soldier's arsenal every week. Not to mention my orders from pick-a-brick. Lets stop with this STUPID spanish talk, and get my gosh darn blue coats back.

You know, wouldnt it be cool is we could somehow get a cut of bricklink order? You would make WAY more money off of me that way. Even if you didn't think it was possible to make more money off of me! -
One of the people who posted had a John Deere logo as an avatar. Being a good International Harvester man, I could not let it go. Totally Lego Pirate UNRELATED.
-
Yeah, thats totally a custom cannon. And then they say they dont look at what we do....
-
I want to agree with every word you said, but everyone knows that John Deere tractors are garbage... so I can't.
-
Once my fort is done, I dare you to come over and toaster oven me!!!
-
I would use one that looks like the guy in the picture. Good thing for LEGO that heads are removeable.
-
Well if instead of a baseplate, they used regular pieces, like Soldier's Fort, then this set would be worth it. But how much can you really do with this set? Some mini-figs are nice, as well as the rowboat and cannon, but the value is greatly diminished by the baseplate. I remember we had an MOC on here a little while ago, where a pirate makes a sand castle on this baseplate. Everyone was so excited about that MOC because someone actually found a use for this baseplate. That is pretty sad, don't you think? LEGO is supposed to unlock the imagination, and this baseplate "locks up" too much of the plastic available in this set. Here, watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgwHOwZwB9E...ec-HM-fresh+div P.S. I didn't make this, I HATE Pirates of the Caribbean.

If we are the British Navy, then you are the Queen!
-
You going to brickworld? I am rectifying this red coat "land superiority" with a nice fort. BLUE COATS FOR THE WIN!
-
Because they can't find us. I'll let you in on a little secret, the ninja theme, that was actually blue coats in the process of building our new army. Blue Coat Ninjas! Its for real!
-
I doubt you redcoats even know how to load a cannon... In time, we will put that to the test!!!!
-
I am actually working on a battle carriage. Of course, its on the list with the 27 other unfinished project. I have a bad feeling once the fort is done, I will be posting like 20 MOCs at the same time.
-
So I see you found them? -Super

I like the minifigs, I like the raft, I just really dont like the Kracken. What the heck am I going to do with this "thing"? You cant hang it up like a shark (as if caught), you cant really use it above water because it looks silly. It just seems wasteful to me. On the other hand, a set like cannon battle allows me to use each and every part. I feel like with Kraken Attackin, Im wasting a little of the set.
-
We got to target and meijer once every couple weeks to buy groceries and household items, somehow a cannon battle sneaks in there every time! LOL! -Super

I was watching Last of the Mohicans last night. Anyone done any MOCs of that film yet? If not, maybe I'll get working on that, along with my fifty other non-complete projects.
-
Does this mean I have to start showing the stuff I work on too? Hmmmmm.....

Well I was looking at Zorro's ebay list, and there was this real nice BSB, with box and instructions, but the lady had it listed all wrong. So I got it for a little over 100! I actually wanted and needed the ship for my big MOC, so all's well that ends well.
-
I got my BSB in the mail today. The box is MINT! So I am very happy with it! I'm waiting for El Delrado, Craibbean Clipper, and Sabre Island all with boxes and instructions yet to come!
