  1. Oh yeah? Is that why that old hag in polyester who looks like she belongs in a nursing home tells you what do you?
  2. Yeah, I thought a black admiral figurehead would look cool?
  3. Thats a really good deal, nice find!
  4. We all like heads!
  5. *In a Napoleon Dynamite Voice* Gosh! Lucky!
  6. Anyone have any good buys lately? One of my best buys was off of our very own Ebay list (Zorro better give me creds for advertisement)! I got a Black Seas Barracuda with box, instructions and shipping for $116! I also made a private purchase recently for a Caribbean Clipper, Eldorado Fortress, and Sabre Island, all with boxes and instructions for $144. How has everyone else been doing? I am a one-man economy stimulater! But when my fiance finds out, I will probably be a single man again... I called my best friend last night and told him about my buys. When we were kids his parents bought him whatever sets were available. He GOT ALL OF THEM. I remember being so jealous! However, he never got Eldorado or BSB! Now he is the jealous one!!! MUHAHAHAHAHA! *enjoys final childhood victory at 27 years of age* -Super
  7. I'm officially done, ok? I can't do this anymore! I've spent $500 on classic sets this week alone! If my fiance finds out, you guys will have to make a LEGO orphanage for me to live in!
  8. Very nice interview! We all seem to be in agreement on a great many things. I hate to say how right you are about a big imperial ship and sets prices... BUT maybe they make it bigger than BB?! I know... wishful thinking...
  9. Just come over to the house and I'll let you trace them. -Super
  10. I have not recieved EVEN ONE message from my buy ad. I bought the three collections by sending messages to people with "lego for sale" ads. I guess they don't look to see if anyone is buying first? Thats makes sense to me. -Super
  11. There are a lot of people on Craigs List buying LEGO, but despite that, I have bought three whole collections in the last three months. I plan on putting ads in some regional papers soon as well. -Super
  12. Did you see "The Alamo"? There were Mexican troops with beards and axes. Remember those guys? They came in late in the battle and tore stuff up. Kinda like that?
  13. I think you just need to make it wider and you will have it spot on. You obviously have the building skill to do this, do you just need a bigger baseplate?
  14. I like the new printed torsos. Now, I would LOVE for any of you to tell me that you are not totally excited about the fact that the firing cannons actually work well? As for BB, I like it. Its another ship and that is great. Besides, I converted mine to Imperial Service anyways! But you have to admit, we got something! We have something to start with, and some new items to work with. For this, I am very happy. If anything, the new elements, designs, etc.. have improved my olds sets! There are plenty of ways to talk to customer service (as I found out the hard way) and online polls to say what you want. Why not take the time and tell LEGO? -Super
  15. You know, I said to myself that I would not buy ANYTHING else until my fort was done, but you MADE ME buy that BSB anyway! Now you are making me buy more?! How dare you Zorro! How dare you?! Now my kids (if I had any) will be starving.... *bids on the renegade runner anyway*
  16. I hope it is available in the US! I would buy a couple for sure. Furthermore, I think the one thing we are all missing is that this is a sign that there are more pirate sets yet to come. If they are making a pirate advent calender, I think an easy assumption would be that part two of the new pirate line might be available for Chistmas as well? FINGERS CROSSED! I think an easy answer would be the see how the old pirates sets were released, and how much time came in between them? Where can we find this info? -Super
  17. I really like the back of the ship and how it tapers off square rather than following the hull. Very nice indeed!
  18. Well even though they are joking and young, every one knows that blue coats win no matter what! Very nice! You have inspired me to take a small break from my fort and port entrance work to make something similiar. Im waiting for a few torsos yet to come, and maybe the black coats will take a nice little action photo for you as well. I also have to say, I LOVE ALL THE NEW MINIFIG HEADS! I think this ONE change has brought so much more life and expression to LEGO! I remember as a kid making LEGO diaramas for my history class, and some brat girl asking me why the guy was smiling while he was getting cut in half. I proceeded to yank her pony tail and lose my recess priveleges for that day. Sorry... back to topic.... Anyways... I like it a lot, and hopefully I'll have something nice to show in a few days as well.
  19. First off, let me commend you on building something that I know took forever! I have no patience for that program, so I am very respectful of your work. I think the ship looks amazing, and correct. However, this ship only looks "correct" to me if part of it would sit under the waterline. So in the case of a LEGO MOC, it would be too tall. If you made it to be a "true model", then yes, it is perfect. If you are going to have it cruising on a table somewhere like regular LEGO ships, then it does not work. Before I continue, can you clarify your original intention for me?
  20. Congrats! I didn't even know there was creative critic! I will have to be better next time! -Super
  21. Yeah! I only need SES and the set of ships is complete!
