I also want to say something about pants. -Super

Doesnt matter to me one way or another, just tell me what you want to do. Oh, yeah, a special medal ceremony for the winners: Feel free to post on your signature, edit, make a better version, etc.... -Super P.S. Isn't my "paint" skill amazing? Totally amazing...

Very cool! I am a big fan of WW2 Gendermerie units, and as a result have done some study of the early units formed during the Napoleonic times. Both the British and the French deployed good numbers of military police, and the British went so far as to say that Waterloo would not have been possible without good MPs.

Any argument that begins with "dude" is a sound argurment. Always has been. -Super

Come on now Joey, everything reminds you of raspberry cake! I think this looks amazing. To me it doesnt look like rough water, but rather wind blowing over water in a harbor. I really like that. -Super

I'm very proud to see the ship of my hometown of South Haven, the Friends Good Will! Why wasn't Brig Niagara there? I was planning my first ship MOC to be loosely based on her. -Super

Freaking awesome! I really wish I had the imagination to do small scale builds like this with such accuracy and detail. I have always been a grandiose builder, and unable to do this kind of stuff. This detail reminds me of some of the custom furniture I have seen built as well. 11 out of 10! -Super

I thought that there would be MVPs selected and stuff like that. Maybe next time we do one and one competetion and it goes on from there? OR Maybe we do a sig-fig abuse tournament? Like, Joey vs myself, and we see what we can do to each other. Its the first tournament, so there were going to be some bumps. But I did recieve several message from red coat "friends" of mine, who were somewhat upset about the uneven talent on the teams. -Super

I think there were some really great redcoat MOCs. Thats exactly why I said I don't forsee us sweeping you. I think the one lacking features the redcoats had was in the vast majority of MOCs they didnt have real bluecoats to use. Most of the time, it was something homemade, or otherwise created. Not that I mind custom mini-fig-ing, but it would have been nice to see people who VOLUNTEERED to be in the tournament actually have the raw materials to perform. I believe that the other downfall of the redcoats was that since the blue coats are an older faction, their fans are older; thus more expierenced and with more resources. I think that there is an age difference between the two factions and this might have been in the blue coats favor. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, I'm just stating the facts and why they are that way. When I first started, I was buying blue coats, so they have remained my favorite, and the reason why I am with that faction, you know? I think there were good showings all the way around. I also think that you really came out and performed well Joey. Your picture quality is much better than mine, and your building skill shows. -Super

You know, if you had won Joey, I would have simply said congratulations. -Super

I am in the lead for the BSB. It would be my second one. I really dont have room for another mod redcoat ship, but we'll see what happens. -Super -
Yeah, 4 of the 7 judges have voted, and ALL have voted for us thus far. -Super P.S. If we sweep this, that will be really funny, but I think at least one will go red.

Well, I bid the ships up, we'll see if I win. I really dont have any more room for ships, but I guess the fleets go into double digits now... -
Big Blue Bastards just sealed up the round in their division. Big win for us!

Thanks, as I find bases, I make the blue coat version of cannon battle. -Super WELL GENTS! There are 7 judges, and the first four voted for the blue coats. It doesnt matter what happens after this... WE WON THIS ONE! BLUE FOR THE WIN!

Well, after three power outages and no Internet. I drove 45 minutes to a public library in a town that had power and Internet to post this. I hope that gets me some kind of extra credit. -Super This I couldnt resist. NOW THIS ROUND IS DONE.

Awesome!!

I'll post my MOC today. If it pleases the judges, I will inform you that we have been without power and internet for the whole weekend. I think this would be a situation that warrants an exception. -Super

Thanks for the comments so far. Like I said earlier, its a work in progress. I have rebuilt several aspects three or four times since I took these pictures. My main goal for this year is to at least get the general layout done so I can take some more time for adding detail, and working in some items a little better. I have rebuilt sabre island at the end of the dock six times now only to decide I liked it better the first way I did it. I managed to incorporate several other sets, including both of my soldier's fort. More than anything, I just need to get the dock done. I'm almost there, I just need to link it up with the other side. I have 500 barrels on the way, so I really think that will do the trick. As I finish or modify more, I will add more pictures. -Super

What else would you want? I need red coats as bad guys. I actually have as many red coats as I do blue or black. One other thing, you think you could draw me a non offensive black coat? You know, something I might actually want to display?

I have not said one word in any of the threads since this post. But the threads seem to be as spammed up as ever. Its getting really anoying. What I hate is when someone (blue or Red) posts a thread, and then the other side makes a list of reasons why it won't work or something is technically wrong. I wish that the MOCs could speak for themselves, but some like to see themselves type it seems.

#1. I wanted them to match the lighthouse. #2. I had the bricks to do it. -Super

Ok, I don't understand why you said my port is so huge when your fort is about as big as my whole port up until now? -Super

You can always just use a boatload of slopes too....
