thanks for the praise guys,
as for minifigs you will notice that the t-47 is unmanded as i have no pilots in orange jump suits, all i have is anie from the pod racer and the 10179 figs, the rest are lego classic space men, they don't do anything for me i'm afraid just like all the sets lego is releasing this year that we know of.
Well here you go pictures as promised.
Total weight is
7516g
Peices over 5000, i weighed a 100g selection of lego and that was 90 peices but theres a lot of tech pincs and 1x1 plates/tiles/bricks etc so could easily be 8000 peices
follow the link for all the pictures.
Brickshelf folder
Flikr
well i think i have sorted it was a simple fix really, remove 24 bricks and replace all with plates, (much stronger bond with each other) i have also added a hinge brick with 2x2 top to each ankle so that now the ankles are fixed.
ok i'm debating as to wether i should glue the legs, theres a lot of weight and it is bowing the legs out at the knees causing the bricks/plates to prise apart??????
rear end finished
legs finished
head finished
body finished
feet finished
i am just waiting on some slopes for the toes i decided to change them in the end as they looked wrong, iv'e gone for 4x1 curved slopes, 3 wide with 2x4 wedge plates either side.
once the parts arrive i will take pics of the model completed. in the mean time i have started my next model.... ucs NU-Class Republic attack shuttle i chose that as it is colourfull and also an ugly sucker!
well i have no intention of buying the new at-at it's very poor compared to the 4483 and even the pf atat is better. i hope lego read these forums as they have got it soo wrong the last couple of years.
With the AT-AT 90% complete i decided to build a couple of speeders using Roguebanthas design on Flikr, i would like to display them with the atat but does anybody have any suggestions how to do that?
