  1. i would build it with 1x2 plate with hinge on side and those little hinge bars with a stud on the end and attach the wings with a 1x1 brick with studs on sides.
  2. Cheers! did you say hello to me or not?
  3. Yeah the AAT is very strong i wouldn't drop it though, you could say it's built like a tank the only weak point is the gun barrel it knocks off too easily but will sit theer all day if just displaying, i stuck wheels under mine. i think the only pictures of the b-wing are in the moc thread i will have to take some more.
  4. did you say hello? a few more pictures here http://elniner.homeip.net/golowood/gallery/index.php?dir=Events%2F2010%2FMOSI%2F&startpic=96
  5. Think i will be there Saturday and Sunday, but don't know if i will display anything as the thought of a 4 hr drive with a car full of lego + kids and the missus doesn't bear thinking about!! Oh go on then i may bring a couple of models to display i can't help it!! Pete
  6. Was my first time displaying next time it will be better displayed with more info.
  7. The Brickish Association have a display there every year at easter and june/july
  8. theres pictures of the atat, defender and delta 7 in my brickshelf folder, the pod racer is Anios design, and a few of the others are RGieger's on brickshelf. Few more pictures will add more when available.
  9. yeah finished now was only sat and sunday, Anio, there are pics of the jedi starfighter in my brickshelf folder. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=417177 yeah the kids liked your pod racer! but they liked the minifigs more ????
  10. Did anybody on here go? Two pics from my display of lego star wars models.
  11. yep it's next on my to do list after i have finished the current project, i need to use my lambda shuttle for something. cheers for them but they still look off to me.
  12. Well here it is finally finished with crew, enjoy! My Flikr Mr Brickshelf http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=382115
  13. thers mlcad instructions in the 1st post and a parts list.
  14. lol at least you can pick yours up!! i have to agree the shuttle is a nice display model easy to keep dusted as well. i just wish the TLG made a new windscreen as the one they used is to small for the shuttle, should have been 14 x 6 x 4 with 75 degrees
  15. Very nice indeeed, this is what lego should have done!
  16. i mean that 10212 has only two hinges per wing where as the studio model had 2 at the rear and 1 near the front.
  17. looks fine to me, i also think they could have built the wings with 3 hinges, i think it will get modded almost as soon as it is built! first mod will be replacing these with these and then adding white tiles to give it a smooth look.
  18. They could've had 4 seats and a ramp both Dmac's and mine do, the body has plenty of room inside without the landing gear in the way so an interior could easily fit, it's like a tardis in there!
  19. i can confirm that to fold the wings together with one mechanism put a lot of strain on the gears and tech axles so i decided to just fold them by hand. after seeing the video i think that i can now destroy my shuttle and use the parts for summat else
  20. yep mine can fit four minifigs in the cockpit, theres room behind for more but the boarding ramp will be in the way so they would have to levitate lol. the stickers are the 2 white lines on the windscreen. id be interested to know how they access the cockpit interior....
  21. been doing some measurements between mine and 10212 and as far as i can tell the wings are the same size (10 2x3x1 slopes) and the dorsal fin is the same also, obviously the cockpit is the same from the pics we can see but they have made the neck and the body more accurate, just need to see the back and the underside. i can see 2 stickers though
  22. Ok so who is this moc coppied off??
  23. a couple of points, 1. you cannot pm me as i blocked you. 2. the pm saying Dmac copied mine is called Taking the p##s, pulling your chain, winding you up. , in other words i don't care what you say about my moc i built it, albeit based on Dmacs design obviously and tweaked here and there, yes reverse engineered just like my AT-AT is and there are no instructions for that either. what i can say is that the lego group have copied mine and Dmacs shuttle and in my opinion they have made it better apart from the cockpit which is still wrong. i just hope Dmac gets a free ucs shuttle when it is released unless TLG asjed him first
  24. if only those parst where available when i built my shuttle 12x2x4 winscreen in trans black and 4x3 curved wedge in white! looking at that picture of the wing folding hinge it looks like the landing gear will fold out when you fold the wings up.
