your way works but not for my atat its head is to heavy. i've come up with a design that will allow the head to move side to side as in the film with the neck bending as it would, the secret to this is 40 x 1x5 thin technic lift arms, these form a chain as such with each link holding 1 neck ring, the result is a neck that will bend lick a mc donalds straw. when the parts arrive i will see if it holds the weight, it should do due to the fact that there are no week links in the system. the neck will then clip into place with tech pins towards the rear of the body to balance the weight and also make the head removable for transport to displays, model shows etc.

Also could i have some identifying a part its on the neck 1 on top and 2 on bottom looks like a ball socket but isn't.

While rocko's ATAT is impressive especially as i now have 1/4 of it it lacks one thing, a movable head, while up and down will be impractical left and right should be feasable, so does anybody have any ideas of how to achueve this let me know as i am struggling for a solution

Well i have the feet, legs complete and have started on the drive motors, it is currently stood on its own with 30lbs of books sat on top of it to see how it copes so far so good!!!

yep my isd was bleuy, apart from that the x wing y wing and snowspeeder are all old grey and dark grey the newer ucs sets atst vader tie are bleuy.

is everybody blind?? the cockpit is the same on all the pictures we have seen about this set, 5 SIDED! end of!

right well from the video you can see that the slave one stabilizers rotate on their own to the correct position for flying or landing, and gg cockpit has either a sticker on it or it is printed.

well both pictures and the model have a 5 sided cockpit, it's just the angle of the photo makes it look 3 sided.

ahhh thats what happens when these have kids great B-Wing you have.

i didn't know wether to have the dome painted to look like an astromech unit or leave it as it is, maybe a sticker would be better

has anybody any ideas of how to make the join of the red wedge plate and white slopes at the front sides smoother?

Cheers for all the compliments! it's nice to build a model in different colours other than greys, i'd really like to build a Slave-1 sometime but i cannot figure how to do it, but after the AT-AT i will build summat colourful just don't know what yet.....

Yeah the wings should slope like an ISD but iv'e spent far to long on it now i would have liked landing gear but i would have to scale it up to make it practicle, maybe i could have it landed..... yeah i know it's Aethersprite but i cannot edit the title or i haven't found a way to??? yeah that would be good but it would make the rear too fragile i'm afraid

Well it took me long enough to finish this Moc started it just after Xmas but had to wait for Bricklink orders to turn up.
