I chose the Tie experimental m-1 as it was different and the design appealed to me somewhat. getting the main solar panel to have studs on both sides and still be thin was good fun i was going to use chainsaw blades but then rediscovered the hinges so by flipping one side over i was then able to get a wing with studs on both sides and only 3 plates wide the uniqueness of the m-1 is that it has two tie cockpits one for the pilot and the other for the turbolaser, i had to get both pods the same weight so that when attached to the wing they where balanced. it is supposed to have 4 ion engines (2 on each pod) but it looked wrong so thats why i opted for the 1 engine on each pod design it seems to work but i may change it in the future. the pink engine glow is my daughters idea

oh now thats just great if i didn't have enough to do you go and give building instructions for slave 1 would look nice with your pod racer!! still waiting for you to do sebulbas pod racer! i may just start building slavey and see if i can improve some bits somehow

all my ucs where on display apart from the falcon, naboo fighter,snowspeeder and my latest ucs which i will hopefully finish this week.

Hi a bit of advice please, i have a large amount of old dark gray lego and was wondering what it was worth as a bult sale, i looked on bricklink and the plates alone came to £25GBP but it would take me ages to go through everything i'd say there is about 2.5kgs worth. any advice is welcome

move the sand green 8x3 slopes towards the stabilizer fins and then fill the gap behind to make that section wider like the SS prop

yes curved is far better i still say move it out 1 or 2 studs and fill the gap with slopes

you could use hinge bricks 2x4 slopes 4x3 slopes etc or you could move them out 1-2 studs and then build slopes/curves behind to fill the space?

yeah it's got the beauty of Concord elegent and sleek, my missus will even let me keep it on display when i finally get one.

here i go again lol could you not make the green parts larger and more rounded? i dont think the 8x3 curved slope are correct.

i have to agree it is the best ucs slave1 i have seen it's just the underneath area is not correct in my opinion but i am at a loss as to how to correct it at present, the only idea i have at the mo is a rim of plates instead of the brown slopes, that would give you the upturned dish and be thin enough to greebly to hell around the engines.

the review is complete just use a translator, a few bad points the top wing is very wobbly but can be fixed easily, the 1x6 arches used for the sides are fragile aswell.

nope the y wings is the way lego made it, it could do with the cockpit being 2 studs wider though, yeah gareths b wing helped a lot in designing mine, gave me the bare bones so to speak.

Very nice, but it really needs the underside having more detail, if you got rid of the dark bluey bricks would it compromise the structure?

hmmm a UCS Jedi star fighter i've seen one before.... lego released the ATST and Tie X1 in the same year so it is very possible we can only wait and see.

Ok after some painstaking work i can say that the imperial landing craft has two landing gear the boarding ramp is at the front, the cockpit is the same as the lambda shuttle, the rear section where the wings attach is a lot thicker and the wings are the lambdas but switched so that the straight edge is at the front. so is the shuttle a sentinel or some other shuttle? was the sentinel from a game? i can also add that the imperial landing craft is 38m long.

not got instructions for b wing but the snowspeeder is tim goddards design pictures in his flikr, its very easy to build.
