  1. to ship an air tank from uk to netherlands would be around 70 GB pence and the same to ?Ireland so shipping from netherlands to IRE will cost peanuts.
  2. does that help?
  3. i'm seriously thinking of popping round to drool over all them old boxes!
  4. no you don't just buy it!
  5. i don't recall it mentioning the sand crawler steering in sculpting..?
  6. the real sandcrawler as in the SM didn't steer it just forwards/ backwards, on a real vehicle either the front or the rear tracks would have to steer as it would be just to big to skid steer. and since the rear tracks have something between them then that would mean the front steered.
  7. hmm that would work, but then i would only be able to drive one side of each crawler with the other side being diven by the axle
  8. i understand what you mean Anio but i cannot mount th emotor in the crawlers to avoid a 90 degree gear, with the worm screw it all lines up nice and fits, show me how to get a strong 90 degree gear solution and i will change it, yeah the 8 tooths are weak, so may change it for a worm screw on each turn table, direct to a motor each or just 1 motor for both. ps. i have greased the worms
  9. Familiar?? you seen it before somewhere no interior yet as i have a few shows to go to so that will get done after them, the tubes are being troublesome but i will come up with a solution, forwards reverse is as per the first post of the crawlers with a xl motor in each assembly drivinga worm screw abd then via 3 24 tooth gears to each sprocket. steering is via 1 medium motor geared down - worm screw, 16-24-16-24-8-turntabe, the crawlers turn fine on a table but i don't think they will turn on carpet etc, it will drive on carpet though.
  10. this is just wrong though
  11. im sure last year it was 10215
  12. Not lego but just as cool just amazon this isbn 0857330969
  13. http://www.gimmelego.blogspot.com/
  14. i was looking through brickshelf and this popped up, never seen it before and very nice it is too!
  15. Ok so what pictures do you want of the SSD, you name it i will take it.
  16. well over 10,000 theres a lot of tech pins and 1x1 and 1x2 plates
  17. i need to sort out a device to raise lower the tubes, and build an interior.
  18. i would love the stairs to go up and down but they are moved by hand, maybe i will alter it one day to move, but that woul dmean having the door open and then the ramp extend, while possible i just don't have the pateints at the moment, the repulsor tubes will go up and down remotely though.
  19. a few pics of the finished exterior, so far it has forward reverse, the front crawlers can pivot left/right for steering and the ramp goes up and down.
  20. so all i need now is a 4x4 tube out of lego which is not possible without modifying parts.
  21. would be nice but i can't see and advantage of that as the droid would be just hanging there.
  22. Even though i have finished the outside i just can't resist so i am now fitting it with motorised repulsor tubes they will just go up and down but it's another gimmic to impress the kids at shows.
  23. most impressive a lot of work has gone into them, i especially love th emidi scale sandcrawler
  24. Well i'm 36 so must be an AFOL Anyway i only buy the true UCS sets as i don't play with the Lego and just Stare at it, i also build Mocs though which at times can get tedious, but its the pleasure i get out of other people seeing them at the shows/exhibitions i display at.
  25. i always tell my 4 and 2 year old girls, 'Lego is not for playing with it is for looking at' but they never listen, at least they never touch my Lego!
