Will there be more Prince of Persia Sets?
The Green Brick Giant replied to legitimatealex's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not this year. I doubt we will until there is a sequel. -

Which is what I love. Americas get a few sets a few weeks early and people on this site freak out. However no one notices that most of the sets are always released in Europe first and that Europe gets more sets than the Americas. -
$4 for 16 pieces the damn tile better have been printed!
-
Nope they are printed. LEGO Castle / Kingdoms / Whatever they call them always has printed shields because they will use them in other sets in the years to come.

The minifigures are horribly miss sized, but so awesome. Rex and the pig are great. -

In no way is this set worth $10, but the minifigures do look really nice. -

Don't you know that the interenet was only made for two reasons. 1. To female canine about things before we understand them. 2. Porn -
It looks good, my only comment would be that the top floor "airport windows" in the front look very oddly spaced.

Some of us have better things to spend money on than a case of plastic men, you know like food, water, power, rent, things like that. I'd love to be able to spend $120 on a case and get 3 of each figure, I can't. So instead of getting the same two guys 5 times each I rather get 10 different guys. -

My favorite theme as a kid but sadly never got thsi wonderful base. So for that I now hate you. -
Parts you would like to see revived

I was going to buy some cypress trees when they had them 5 for $5, but I was waiting until the fall, only 2-3 months later. Then the mold broke. I do love that big glass window, best huge piece ever. -

I think you can use the Border's coupons as many times as you want, but only once per visit. -
The new piece looks much better to me in that picture. The set is old but LEGO is still making that set even today, so they would have to add the replacement once the old piece.

World Racers Summer 2010
The Green Brick Giant replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'll say two years like most of the LEGO action themes. Atlantis seems to have been planned for 2-3 years, while Power Miners seemed to only be planned for one really big year (14 sets I think?) and then got a second year because it sold better than LEGO thought it would. So we shall see. There can be endless race cars though so as long as the theme keeps selling LEGO will keep making more. -

The promo is nice but I don't like it when LEGO names things with numbers because that leads to "Agents 2.0" when "Agents" was a fine name. -
Review: 5987 Dino Research Compound
The Green Brick Giant replied to ZO6's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I always loved this theme but never had the money to get any of the bigger dinosaurs. Which I did, and I wish LEGO would bring this theme back. -
All Impulse sets are related to a theme.

Great set, love the new pieces, none of them are lame huge pieces, even the new door is nice. Loving the camel. :) -
Out of the four MA LEGO Stores (One closed) that is the only one I have never gone too!

Latest updates on LEGO set sales

I doubt they do, but you might get lucky. I went two weeks ago and they really needed another shipment in, so maybe they did and it has PoP. -
I haven't seen them in any of the Boston stores in years. But I do now only go to them in May so maybe I just keep missing out.

Friday and Saturday Borders has a 40% off coupon, you should have gotten an email, I'm too tired to find a link. -
World Racers Summer 2010
The Green Brick Giant replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
They were fine the first few years but now it just seems to be the same thing over and over with different colors. They all look the same now and being $6 a piece is insane. I rather buy the Creator cars. I'm just glad LEGO realized they can have Racing and TT Racers and not one or the other.
