  1. Ah, the Phantoka connector. I had almost forgotten about that. Quite possible.
  2. Haha, eat your words, Rocka naysayers! No but seriously, I think he'll be a good set. I'm curious as to what other connection points they use to keep him in the jet, besides his hands (also I'm still drooling over the wing trigger; I had a feeling it would happen and IT DID and I'm so stoked), and whether or not other Heroes can fit in it. What with the friction joints, I imagine it's still a bit of heavy equipment =P
  3. So Rocka's wings DO pop out when you press a button. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  4. Also, since Gorzan doesn't actually have any kind of projectile-esque weapon, they probably figured it wouldn't make much sense; any time you have the bandolier, thus far, it feeds into a projectile weapon to give the illusion that it's an actual ammo belt.
  5. But what if it's GLOW IN THE DARK, man? That'll just be too cool.
  6. Razar and Cragger are my only "must-buys", what with Hero Factory having some particularly awesome sets this year. Worriz and Laval have a definite place in the "if I have money for it" column. Gorzan and Eris, I'm on the fence about. I'd like to see more of what makes Gorzan tick, and I'll probably pass on Eris because she doesn't offer anything particularly new over Razar; not necessarily a bad thing, but I prefer the overall colors and theme of Razar.
  7. Dragon Bolt is still looking fantastic, honestly. I agree about the tail, but of course, gotta keep the piece count down. Good thing I've still got a fair amount of those bones. I'm still torn about Stormer and Frost Beast. They both have good color schemes and do slightly interesting things with their builds, but Stormer just comes as slightly more generic...
  8. It's not really persuasiveness, it's a stick-to-it-ness and a capability of recognizing and pointing out logical fallacies people apply to things. If you're persuaded, you either didn't hold the original opinion with enough conviction, or were wrong =P. (that said, Aanch will in fact argue things until the cows come home, so I'm not surprised when people give up XP) I like the original legs we saw, but I'm not really surprised they were only prototypes. The good thing is that they can actually be built normally; if you don't like the way it is now, you can change it yourself. I plan on doing so.
  9. Hey, to be fair... Those playset prototypes WERE more awesome. Mini-Keetongu, man. How could you not love it?
  10. Because we don't. He was the mastermind behind the first attack, but had no apparent connection to the subsequent two incidents, and then only speculation about the next two. His staff being used was a key plot point, obviously, but we still haven't actually seen the villain since 2010. Could be a brand new villain.
  11. It's not; he just thinks it's better now with the new wave. It's also not a requisite to HAVE to favor both equally, which is the rhetoric that sometimes appears. You can, in fact, like one more than the other.
  12. Isn't it just functioning as the brain slug tail holder, like all the villains have? God, if only the internet worked this way. Seriously, how great would it be if we could skip this whole photohosting nonsense?
  13. Probably just some stop-motion camera techniques. I'm liking Stormer and Frost Beast a little better after this, but still kind of on the fence. Frost Beast, at least, looks to do some interesting things with its build.
  14. Surge possessed by a brain? Excellent. Might have to get the set after all... Anyhow, that villain... is kind of an amalgam of main past villains, so... we're being trolled. Edit: Also, I just realized that the brain color seen more often in the show is the one color not in the sets... red.
  15. Just noticed that Surge's visor looks printed too, actually, which is kinda cool. His weapon is still lame, though; wasn't good on Pyrox, and continues to not be good on Surge. Also Stormer's blade will probably be silver =P. But since we have blue blades aplenty this summer wave, won't be too much of a problem, neh?
  16. Surge is less exciting than I would have hoped, but Frost Beast is looking better. Dragon Bolt is sexy as ever, and Jet Rocka is fantaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaastic.
  17. Lol, immense backtracking. Love it. I'm going to assume that they're relatively finalized. Some things I liked from the prototypes better, but this is still great.
  18. That one wasn't available to begin with, else I would have ordered one. But yeah, these Summer sets are showing more and more personality. And still no Von Nebula. Hero Factory 2014? Hero Factory 2014.
  19. He could be wielding it in both hands, but I like the way they did it on the bag art; makes him look like he has a fishing spear, which is very appropriate. Also, scabbard? I can dig it.
  20. Same reason Bruizer has an orange one? Just an aesthetic thing. I personally like it; I started doing that two years ago with the 2.0 sets, and it's amusing to see.
  21. I think somebody mentioned it on the previous page, but it's fantastic news regardless. Too much to hope for an orange head, I suppose?
  22. Looks like Aquagon can "combine" his weapons. And if he has a blue brain slug, what will Dragon Bolt have? Lighter blue?
  23. I like Aquagon, he's got a lot of personality for a small set. Might have to think about investing in him too.
  24. You think the Breez set looks like a girl? Lol. Welcome to Eurobricks! No but seriously, I think most of them look pretty good. Though Laval's normal feet still disappoint me, but at least it's easy enough to go back to the "prototype" (if that's what it is) version.
  25. I think most of them look pretty neat, but I guess that's not the cool thing to do out here. Eris is the worst posed of the bunch, but dat axe piece... Gorzan, save the lack of Bannana bandolier, looks good.
