Don't have an exact quote on me, but it was more that he isn't actually involved in the story anymore, so it was fine to consider the repeated identification of him as such as canon.
-
So Rocka is now officially Daniel Rocka. Deal with it, nerds.
-
Maybe they didn't think he could move as effectively with a piece of armor there. Look at the Savage Planet paw pieces; if you have that on the end ball, you can't place a piece of cladding on the arm, because it reduces range of motion.
-
The arms are probably the weakest part, but it's his overall look; the sword and the shield carry his fire motif well, the legs are streamlined and uncomplicated, yet sturdy. Stormer was great too, but suffered similar problems with weirdly set arms, and a tiny head. Also stickers. I'd say he's on par with Stormer as a titan, and compared to the generic Heroes of BA, he's definitely a cut above them, if only for doing things different and being well-armored.
-
Gonna try and contact Bink, see what he has to say (if he's even involved anymore, which I don't think he is). Kinda sad how it got started, but since it keeps happening, might as well get some clarification. Plus, Daniel is a solid first name for him.
-
So apparently Rocka is again referred to as Daniel in the Brain Attack credits. Should maybe probably just make it official at this point, neh?

I don't so much disagree with the design of the website, just the extremely poor coding and organization. A timeline isn't such a horrible idea (in fact, I really like it), but they have barely archived any material, and it is plagued by poor loading times and a crappy display system. It was far too ambitious for their own capabilities.

The English version has been on youtube since, like, day 1 =P. Anyhow, they couldn't get the same actor. Maybe the other guy was just busy, or maybe it was deliberate to portray a more mature Furno. Another episode would answer a lot of these questions. As for the villain... who knows, man.
-
Hey, I'll put up with an alternate universe for that guide book he's writing. I have ridiculously high expectations for that.
-
Probably should use spoiler tags, but I still think it'll be okay. The visors never were for protecting them from the brains (and if you take the set form into consideration, brains were always meant to be attached =P) it was just for general face blasts. But yeah, the whole command thing is confusing. I'm hoping for a sequel episode, or at least some kind of website update to help clarify things like that.
-
Hey, Rookies can take over. Look at what happened with Thresher beforehand. Thresher willingly relinquished his command position to Stormer rather than overstay his welcome. We might see an actual conflict with Stormer and Furno about his command later down the line, or maybe Stormer has also willingly taken a backseat, but doesn't want to retire fully. That said, does this officially establish the position title of Heroes in charge of multiple groups as "commander" (see: Fortis)? Considering that Furno was directing multiple teams at once, he might have actually superseded the Alpha Team altogether, and is keeping the position on the team as ceremonial. (related: I could have sworn I saw Stormer's title as "Captain" SOMEWHERE, but for the life of me, I can't find it. Am I crazy, or did that happen?) Also, got the LEGO mag today. Only one page of HF (surprise surprise) but it's better than nothing. Gives some fun info on the brains.

It's listed as a "webisode", so a TV release seems unlikely. A DVD release is quite possible; with Breakout AND Brain Attack, there's as much content as the SP DVD.
-
Is it on Youtube anywhere? LEGO's player is just awful.
-
Man, LEGO does not know how to promote this line, does it? Ah well. Look forward to watching the episode.
-
If you're planning on stretching them out, personally I would open Furno (the obvious best) somewhere in the middle, that way you still get time to appreciate him.
-
Isn't the official publication day technically tomorrow? I guess, in theory, someone could have been shipped a copy slightly early, but it's not the official street date release. That said, looking forward to finding more about it. HS01 always needs more people and information, so if anybody wants to help out...[/shamelessplug]

Need more bone colors!

Haha, you're the first person I've seen who has linked to KZ's brickshelf. I'll tell him. Just don't get too hung up on one thing. Start smaller; BIONICLE overspecializes itself when it comes to later weapons, so don't try necessarily using any of those pieces.
-
I agree. I was skeptical about Furno because of the various poses he was in that made him look awful, but he is far and away the best set of the first wave.
-
Haha, I didn't even know they had updated that piece. I've had so many potential MOC's foiled by that triangle design... if only I could remember any of them.
-
Oh, excellent! I look forward to seeing whatever you come up with, DV; I'm also looking forward to trying some of these babies out.
-
I'd definitely buy something like that if it showed up on cuusoo.

The wing pieces have been featured on helicopter Technic sets before. Edit: Apparently, only one set, 9396

It isn't the prototype Core Hunter helmet, at least, not the one from the Toyfair press kit.

Well then. tell me more about this "guide book".
