  3. While the members of Meeting Room 1 continued to bicker, Claw performed some of their daily tasks... like corpse removal. With their job complete, Claw returned to the facility, ignoring the light show they left behind. You may now vote. With 16 players, a majority of 9 is required to lynch.
  4. Oh, wow. My cat peed on some of my sails. I'm gunna see if any of them fit your description. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. AG builds in Mafia game, although I'm trying to make them work well in both. It was unavoidable that I'd show this build fully before the week started, but you'll notice if you check out my Mafia game that there are certain angles of the main set piece that have not yet been seen... If this is not OK, I'll try to post builds here before I post them in the Mafia game from now on. Although I would like to know if the "main setpiece" of the Mafia game could still be used as a freebuild. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. Really? It's A. Classic Space themed, B. It's architecturally inspired by Blade runner and Warhammer 40k (the Necrons, my favorite in terms of architecture), and C. It's a temporaly displaced space base on a desert/geyser planet! Ha! For a second there I thought you said "not sci-fi-ish." go ahead and dock me the 3 points, that's fine. Dr. Long is just examining the perimeter before they all go inside. No spoilers there! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  7. Planet: G09 Tags: Science (Edits by JackJonespaw) "Log date 415, this is Dr. Danielle Long. Continued inspection of gravity and temporal anomalies on Greater Drigo has led our team of scientists to discover a large facility of some sort in the badlands of Drigo. You'd have thought out earlier drone surveys would have spotted this, but the anomalies have interfered with their readings. We've begun gathering perimeter intelligence, and next week we will move in on the facility in full force. In the meantime though, all we can do is examine it from afar. Perhaps when we get inside, we can get to the bottom of these bizarre phenomenon, and turn them into lucrative products for Octan." The facility is hollow, and can be fitted with lights as such. The light was held by a Minifigure in this case. Dr. Long to be specific. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. Wakes up soaking in fruit salad some nights.

  9. Noooo! Blasphemy! Blasphemy! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  10. Thank you ChromeKnight and Orson Scott Card Jluck for playing! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  11. I was hoping not to, as I like the Flickr pictures to be visible, but due to this leak, I think I will start making use of my privates. Day 2 is up. You definitely do! Did I not list you? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. Blacktron Mafia: Day 2 Players only, please. Comments on how great JJP is at editing belong in the discussion feed. Night 1 Not everyone went directly to their bunks, as instructed by the Colonel... Some passed go... Some collected $200.... A Dark figure slept in their dark pink bunk... Expository light revealed that dark character to be dark Seamus! ...making the light equivalent, Seamus Aaron (Hinckley)... The nefarious figure crept up towards the sleeping bounty hunter, and.... Stripped the man to his bright red skivvies! Later that night, Ender Gaiman (Jluck) was sleeping skivviless.... Unfortunately for the sleeper, his visitor was not as benevolent as the first... Leaping to alertness, as his military training prepared him to do, Ender stood upon his bunk and eyed his assailant down, delivering the astutest lessons in ancient military strategy, taunt-form at the attacker... Ender: "It's over, Night killer! I have the high-ground!" The assailant blasted Ender in the head, killing him. "So Uncivilized." They retorted. Ender Gaiman (Jluck) had seen his endgame. Later still, Clark Kubrick (ChromeKnight) followed a noise he heard into the Meeting room... There it was! The source of the noise! A towering pitch black monolith! Clark gazed upon its blackness, his mind swelling with cosmic understanding, every atom of his body electrified and rejuvenated by its incomprehensible alien might! And then it crushed him to death. "My god." The killing figure stated. "It's so full of blood." Much, much later, other dark figures prepared to engage in dark deeds... The figure seized one ripe fruit after another, and chopped them to bits in a frenzy of malevolent energy! The madness climaxed with the dark figure luring over a sinister porcelain bowl of chopped fruit, with possibly syrup on top. Maybe no syrup. It's up to the viewer to determine that. Regardless! Said figure made their way to their target's domicile, fruit salad in hand, when out of the blue, a slightly less mysterious figure stepped into their path. Slightly Less Mysterious Figure: "Wow. It gets real dark in here at night. Ha! Very conducive to sneaking and murder and such, amiright? The Mysterious Figure nodded in agreement. Slightly Less Mysterious Figure: "Alright, so down to brass tacks, I'm not sure I should allow this action. It's pretty late. Too late, infact." The Mysterious Figure countered: "Well, this isn't really a night action, is it? It's more of a suggestion as to what you should put in the Day thread opening, or something?" The Slightly Less Mysterious Figure contemplated for a moment. "Yeah sure, what the Hel. You amuse me! Carry on." The Mysterious Figure indeed carried on... and Clementine Lister (Lind Whisperer) Woke up soaked in sticky fruit bits! (Including... nectarines!) As the Night turned to Day, the morning bell rang. And the facility members... now fewer than before... shuffled in. Harriet ran over to the remains of her bed-buddy, Clark! "No!" She cried "He was a great lay!" The others, seemingly undisturbed by the violent deaths of two of their own, returned to their seats... or wherever. With the crowd mostly assembled, the hosts informed the gathered of the night's activities. Danny: "OK, so first off, you are all extraordinary individuals. Truly wonderful sentient meat-puppets. Good job on living!.... Second off you failed to get a Blacktron agent. Doctor Wen (Xenophobic Monoxide) was Loyal to the Federation, Ender Gaiman (Jluck) was Loyal to the Federation, and finally, Clark Kubrick (ChromeKnight) was Loyal to the Federation. So... Good job, Blacktron." Someone: "Wait! How do you know their allegiance if you didn't interrogate them?" Danny: "I have my ways." Someone: "Is no one going to point out how sketchy that sounds? Also, where's Doctor Wen, if Wen's loyal?!" Danny: "Oh, yeah, I killed the Doctor." Someone: "What!? You said you were going to interrogate the Doctor! Not kill the Doctor!" Danny: "I lied. I found out Wen was loyal only after I killed the Doctor. It's a magic plot device thingy. Doctor Wen'd explain it to you, but Wen's dead. OK, no more valid and reasonable questions. You have 24 hours till your next votes! Make 'em count!" Colonel Jack Jones: "Those were really reasonable questions... Why are we following your directions?: Danny: "Because we must. Because we must." Later.... "Oi, you wanker! What the Loki-worshiper are you doing in my power-suit!?" Introducing Zero suit Seamus! Host note: "Self-assigned comical "night-actions" have been ruled as not actions at all in any practical sense. And can be performed by anyone. Don't all go crazy." Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Federation (Town) or Blacktron (Mafia). To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Mafia, while the Mafia needs to outnumber the Town. Third-Party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. Voting is compulsory. Every player must have a vote placed by the end of the day. Those who do not follow this rule will be subject to 5 penalty votes. 3. A game day on LI-420 will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day may end early should a unanimous vote be reached. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. 8. You may not edit your posts. 9. You must post in every day thread. 10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. 11. Violation of the above rules will result in a 5 vote penalty against you on your first offence, and the death of your character on your second offence. 12. There are no clues in the pictures. I will not intervene should someone suggest there are clues in the pictures, because there are none. There are not clues in the character flavor text. I wrote that stuff before I even decided on alignments and roles. No punishment will be doled out to violators of this rule, but I expect violators to be heavily harassed by other, rule-abiding players. 13. Grab your towel and don't panic. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. SHUT UP YOU! spoiler woiler oilers! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. Haven't caught up to the second season yet, but the first was great! kinda depressing in a way. I like shit like that. It was kind of like a less depressing Bojack Horseman. Still working through that. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Under normal circumstances, I don't believe that would have escaped our "child friendly" filter. Fortunately for society, I paid attention to some of Hinck's lessons during Ragnorak. Also yes, you may totally use "my" computer screen layout in future builds... but you'll probably see it in my weekly AG build too. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  18. Later this evening. Between 7 pm and 12 pm EST so I can time my "updates" and day endings for 1 hour before or 3 hours after I get out of work. I wouldn't start it earlier than 7 even if I finished everything. As it is I'm still working with JJP to get the pictures edited. Sorry bout that. I do want to get everything for you in as timely a fashion as possible, but I do want to keep everything coordinated with my schedule. Odds are unless I get all night actions in really early, I will end up making full use of my 24 hours after the first 24 hours. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. A day conclusion has been posted. Would the Mods leave the thread open a bit so I can edit in larger pictures when I get home and fix some formating things? Night actions and revisions to night actions will be accepted until 12:00 midnight EST. I'd prefer if actions are bolded, even if it's clear what you mean. Thank you kindly. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. The conversation continued in Meeting Room 1... Hannah pontificated on the ramifications of her recent transaction... Hannah: "Man, I could make a business on smuggling swords alone if they're always this lucrative! They could call me "the Sword Smuggler!" Or no, "The Cutlass Courier!" Or maybe "The Saber Racer!" Hmm. There's gotta be a clever name out there for that. Meanwhile, the Insectoid Aristocrat and the Badass Bounty Hunter chatted... Danny: "so, is that a Scottish accent, or an Australian accent?" Seamus: "Wha'?! Are you daft, mate? You think I'm Australian?!" Danny: "I meant Planet Australia. You know, the planet inhabited entirely by Scottish emigrants? " Seamus: "Tha' sounds like a retcon to me." Danny: "You mean like Planet Retcon? The planet entirely inhabited by Ridley Scott's later works?" Seamus: "you're a really bitter wanker." Danny: "Yup!" Colonel Jack Jones: "Let's talk about Scotland again." As the day grew later, Diamond decided to get drinks. Diamond: "Ok, so, at the end of each day, I'll pass out a drink to everyone. Each drink does something different, and you get to pick which drink you'de like from the following list!" Nathan: "Hey, babe, don't you think it's a little late in the day for something like that?" Diamond: "Aww... but it was a cool mechanism!" Nathan: "there's always next game! Anyways, wo yao yi bei pijiu!" *note: mandarin speakers: please mispronounce this as if you were an american cowboy with no language specialist on set.* When the day finally drew to a close, Danny longlegs jumped back onto the table. "Allright! Who am I killing interrogating tonight?" He demanded of the crowd. The croud pointed fingers wildly, but finally settled mostly on the Doctor. Danny hopped off the table and took the Doctor's hand. Doctor Wen: "Are we going on an adventure?" Danny: "just you, my friend! You're off to the "Undiscover'd land from whose bourne no traveler returns!" Doctor Wen: "sounds exciting, but I do prefer to travel with a Companion!" Danny: "they'll meet you there! We will all join you in time... and we all have so little time..." With Danny off with the Doctor, Colonel Jack Jones took a stand on the table! "Go to your bunks! I don't care who's bunk you go to, but you can't stay here! We'll reconvene here when the morning bell rings!"
  21. Thanks for playing, Xenophobic Monoxide! I was going to wait for the day conclusion to be uploaded to say so, but I do appreciate your sticktoitiveness! I hope you keep trying at Mafia! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. The night is for sleeping.
