  2. Only statements that rhyme are true. Not a single time will a false phrase rhyme. Nice set! Oooh! Wait wow wow wow huh? Lavender flower stems? Oh my gods.... I... I don't know what to do... I think I need those in large numbers. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  3. Hey, j2g! Not to make you jump off a cliff or anything... but can you pm me pics of the thing CM4sci stole your thunder with? Alright! That reindeer looks usable actually! I might get this depending on the price! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  4. That is beautiful. But expensive. Too expensive for me. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. My personal hope is that the zombie footballer is just some promotional for the game and not in the mini figure lineup. Looking at these pictures, I find it highly unlikely he could be confused for a Knight, and even less likely for him to be confused for an astronaut. Also I don't care for the figure. And I really hope the Satyrs don't look like that. Tell me about it! at first the new guitar molds were great, but really! A rock guitar is nice, but where's the acoustic love? We need a violin too! Desperately! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  7. With a concept as lucrative as this, I'm sure Lego considers themselves to be "Merchomancers"! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. I think a new guesses thread would not be too out of place. It makes sense to me that in the time between the reveal of the list and the reveal of the next list there should be a guesses thread. I have some too... or at least desires that I think have a likely hood of coming to fruition... like a violinist/fiddler. Or a normal guitar player. Why haven't we seen any orchestral minifigs yet? I understand the lack of obscure instruments, or unpopular ones, but there are some really basic instruments (that are hard to brick build) that have not yet been made, and the mini figure line seems to be the opportune venue in which they could be produced. Like the violin. I'd take a cello too. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  9. Maybe then I'm the only one who thinks a football player looks a bit like a knight in armour? likely you can tell I don't care much for the sport. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  11. Oh. My. Gods. *sound of jaw hitting the floor* *stunned silence* Just wow. I can't think of very many words that adequately describe the awe in which I presently find myself. And I'm a very loquacious person. So. Wow. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. Happy Birthday Flipz, you RPer, you! Wish I could give you the gift of "I finally read your Quest" but sadly, I am bogged down with work tonight, as I am every night, and can only wish you a happy Birthday! And a picture of myself wishing you a happy birthday! I swear I am not a 5 year old. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. I don't see how a dark green zombie footballer could get confused for a likely all white or shiny aluminium spacesuit, but I do see how it could get confused for a scary (undead) knight, due to the armour... especially dans la France, where Football means Soccer, and Knights are much more culturally relavent. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. I find it highly unlikely it would replace the astronaut. The only one I could see it replacing is the "Scary Knight" ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Oh noez! For whatever reason, I cannot see the images! But I do remember how it looked, and if I recall correctly it was quite nicely detailed! And violent! Edit: oh! You hosted them on Facebook! My brother ran into a problem with that in AG. We found out that Facebook only hosted images temporarily. You'll need to upload them to Flickr or a similar image hosting site. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. Gorgeous Town arrangement! Love the eye-catching colour inconsistencies on the thouses! Particularly the blue building. Very pleasant! And the scene is fun too! Lots of mayhem, but perhaps not enough gore would be my one issue. I also adore the rock work on the bay section! Very nice snot rocks! great work! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. Lovely Renders! Even if the piece ends up being 2-4, it will need to be a new piece. One with less grip on the bottom, and hopefully much more on the top. Also, if it is 2-4, I would expect that to be only on the bottom, lacking the 2-2 connection possibilities of the previous mould. But again, it looks like it'll be 1-4, and I'll be shocked if it turns out to be otherwise. I too wish we could see some moulded dresses as per the Friend's minidolls. I think that's their one advantage over mini figures (they fall short for everything else IMO. ) ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  19. First off, I really really really love Dr. Long's office! Better than I imagined it, and I didn't even have to provide you with any suggestions! You may be a mind reader! I love the little touches, like The Chekhov's Gauntlet in its mineral platter serving as a paperweight on the good Dr.'s desk. Also the solution you came up with for the paperweight form of the Axle that's sitting on her desk is exquisitely elegant! I wish I'd though of that when I discovered that a clip only balanced the Axle piece loosely. I will certainly use that when next I show the minifig-scale Model Axle. Also the certificate behind her is a great touch! Wonderful detail there! Her desk and environment capture her personality and status perfectly! I guess the Iron helmet makes her the Iron Lady? Or are we going more Lady of Steel here? Love all the scenes and references! And the story is great! Interesting to hear about Lord Business being the target of some ethics based assassination attempts... I wonder if we'll hear more about that... ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. Lovely builds! The Ma. K. Suits look awesome! And the story is funny as well! I love Ed ZOB 208's personality! He's just so dumb-founded all the time! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. Thank you! The sea floor was left plain because I originally intended Dr. Long's hard suit to be a bit smaller than it turned out to be .. she would have been standing there. And thanks for mentioning the brown hairpiece! I Agree with you. It looked out if place. Thank you! Thanks! That's what I was aiming for! Glad you like it! Balance did seem to be a theme with this Moc and its later reappearances. Thanks! I did try to figure out some way to have her not touching the reef, but ultimately, that was too hard. (Pun intended) and I had to have her stand on the reef she is investigating. Fortunately b I don't think she cares too much about preservation... except as it relates to maintaining a resource's extractability. Not the best Ecologal conservationalist is she. And now that you mention it, the top shot does look like a text book cover! Thanks, Judges! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
