  1. Sounds like a great way to introduce my (Mitgardian Trader) Characters! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  2. Story updated. Sorry all for the wait. Busiest week yet, coupled with new responsibilities from that new tag I seem to have magically grown. Enjoy the read. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  3. Sacre blue! What do you mean by zat! Zeus himself has blessed ze mighty Oleon Empire! But Eslandola is nice too... I guess. Just not those heathen Red Coats! Too early for the Trashtalk, Kabel? ~Oleonder Aristocrat
  4. I agree! Need pics! The dragon in the film clip looked really nice, actually. I hope the set in which it will come can capture the shape. The eyes as depicted in the clip don't look bad at all, so I'll be interested to see how those transition into Lego. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. Ooh! The purple cape looks lovely on the witch! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. 33 to Bob! ~Dr. Long's secretary, Odus Dillberg
  7. Thanks! I should have the story and better pictures added today!
  8. ' tongues.
  9. I wish I saved those pictures... they're totally gone now, though. Nope! Definitely Merchant Confederacy!... by which we mean, an Octan affiliate! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  10. Tongues.
  11. Good man! Glad to see you can take a hint! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. I am quite relieved that there won't be a Zombie footballer this wave. And now we can put the stupid "which is more easily confused as a zombie footballer? Fright Knight or Astronaut?" Question to rest. It's probably Aura Sing's ponytail piece, not Macy's. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. Suddenly I have a second tag... :look:

  14. I think I've been very clear that I'm not buying these "for the plot." ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Precisely. I could care less for the protagonists, but every bit of the bad guys is solid gold! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. I wouldn't be disappointed if that was the case, but in the illustration, it is clearly something new, with a skull moulded at the hilt. Likely also a handle connection opposite the blade connection joint. I am also quite glad that the silly ninja head tile is not part of the blade/hilt itself, since that'd diminish the reusability of the piece and, really, ruin it for me. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. I am impressed by how out of their comfort zone Lego is going with this theme, and I hope it pays off. I don't care for the plot or any of the associated media, or the overly goofy vehicles, or the anachronistic future knights that are neither space, nor castle angle, but, some of these figure designs are really interesting and well conceived. Risky, but not risqué. I would love to see more like these "lava monsters" in the future! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. I was thinking exactly the same! I need that figure! The epaulets and torso are winners to me! I'd love to see his head beneath the helmet though! Nadakhan looks good. I agree about him being too colourful. The one red arm is odd and out of place. As is, I would say, the bandanna... which is really kind unnecessary if you ask me. Come on! Show us your dastardly grin, or menacing snarl! Otherwise though, the figure is wonderful! Love the (new or reused) ponytail piece. And the torso is lovely too. I wish it was regular orange, and not bright yellowish orange as it appears to be. Refurbished monkey looks great! No complaints there at all! Just like old times! I wonder what the other figures teased in the background will look like. The ship itself looks like a giant fish with a huge overbite. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. Badoom tsh! But yeah, I think that may be the first naked female minifigure Lego has produced. I like this. I also appreciate how classily they did it. My fear is that they'll give her clothes or something lame like that. The chest design works gorgeously. It's subtle yet clear. Nude, but non obscene. Classy. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. I don't care about Flama, but Whiperella... ooh. Wow. I definitely need her. I'm betting she is an exclusive to the flagship set of next wave, though, so I have my doubts that I will actually get her. Lavaria is great! Glad to have a cheaply aquired female villain. That's not a very common sentence at all. Good job, Lego. I like that the gender ratio seems to be evening out on the villains side. Nice. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. This was also the first contest I entered, years back. My entry didn't win then either... and it's embarrassingly obvious why. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. , seen
  23. Actually it was intentional. I only decided to bring her when I read that David was bringing the base. it would be funny if I just kept her in my pocket though! I actually didn't see David. I was hoping to so we could geek out about AG or something. but alack and alas he was not at his booth. The guy in the corner of the picture was the man who's booth was next to David's. He had an IMMENSE SHIP which was awesome. Fun time. Maybe next time I'll go for the full 4 days as opposed to just Sunday. I mean, the convention hall is practically 8 minutes from my school. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
