"Oh, yeah, you're right. " stated Sylph. "Here you go." He said, handing Johon his Phoenix Essence. "It's more useful in your hands anyways." he added. "And, nice strategy." Alright Lycan, how's that for noticing the scar on your face? Is that alright, or do you want me to change it? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

He ran his eyes across the party. Everyone seemed ready to go with their new-bought equiptment... but Sylph stopped as he caught a glance of Lycan's face. "Lycan, come here." requested Sylph. The werewolf did as he was told, unaccustomed to being told what to do, but trusting of the druid. "Your face." Sylph stammered, wondering why he hadn't seen it before. He fiddled with his sack of herbs as the party looked on, surprised. The werewolf's face was marred by a massive red scar, infused with the magic of Rhodus's blade. Lycan reached up to touch his face, but Sylph caught his hand. "That's a nasty scrape." stated Sylph, pulling a few rough olive-green leaves from his pouch and placing them on the wound. He ripped a shred of his brown cape and wrapped it around the scar. Lycan winced. "You're not going to want to touch that for a while." "All-right," Stated Sylph. "Let's go buy some poison." concluded Sylph. -
I agree. They are the quintessential healer, being able to not only heal the whole party, but to remove all negative effects as well (and revive the KOed in one fell sweep). They are also well equipped to protect their role as primary healer by avoiding the front row and having a 50% chance of not even being effected by specials. ( ) somehow though, I managed to get KOed twice in two rounds . They have a good amount of HP points and a great ether progression following Cleric. The only thing they don't have is SP ! (I'll work on that.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I chose the Druid path while developing my character and didn't even know what the Druid was at the time. I chose Cleric because of the two classes that made a Druid, Cleric had the least members. Before Heroica, despite my years of playing DnD, I had never played the party healer (generally speaking, I find Clerics boring), so I was a little disappointed when I saw that the Druid was primarily another Healer. I have since embraced it, and I now feel like Druid is one of the best classes out there! It's a great class to follow Cleric, because it's that + so much more! I love its ability to use ranged weapons, which is a plus for Clerics/Healers (because it's their prerogative to not get KOed.) and the Nurture ability has got to be the best flavor of Healing around in that it works as a remedy as well. Roots of Life is a great Shield too! I get to fix everyone in the party of almost any ill and death on a roll of 6! Also, as an Ether using class, we can use scrolls, which rocks! That said, It is strictly a Healing class. It is not meant as a Defensive or Offensive powerhouse. I actually like Druid so much, I likely won't take another class until level 50. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Well, judging by the blurry picture that we've seen of the biggest set, I think that all of the aliens with wings have the same coloured wings. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"Are you sure you do not want a phoenix essence?" Asked Sylph, waiting for a reply. "Alright, let's go to see the Toxic Proggs." -
Nice! I'm digging the side view! The head does seem a little front-heavy though, but not too badly. I'm sure they won''t change the colour of the wings. The fig we're seeing probably came from a final set or stolen from the assembly line. I'm not a huge fan of it myself, but it's alright for what it is. trans-black would have been nice, but that would be too similar to "The Beetle" from Spiderman. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
-
I agree, it's weird. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but I don't think the Legonator would make this kind of thing up. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
-
What colour is the alien in the smallest one? The beetle? This is so exciting! I'm surprised they're out this early. Which set did the gray one come in? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"While we're conniving, would you mind loaning Elgar one of each of the scrolls you have and Alex the rest for the duration of the quest? You can't really use them, but I know how beneficial they can be in the hands of those who can." -
I know Sylph has had a 'no drinking stuff' policy in the past, but he knows what this does, and it fits his battle tactics well. As the healer and the scroll-reader, He doesn't anticipate needing to rely on his not-too-few HP, and has a grand tonic if things get hairy. Also, I missed out on XP last time. "that was good! Another!" ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Exactly, I bought it first, therefore, w/ 25% off, it's now 60. I assume that "first" means first in order of what's purchased." -

"Alright, everyone buy a phoenix essence or two. Aside from that, buy what you think you'll need. I'll buy a Trial Brew for 60 gp, a grand tonic for 35, a phoenix essence for 65, and two smelling salts, 30 each, for a total of 220 gp." "And I'll take a phoenix essence too, sir." said Alex, handing over 49 gp. -

"You are a shrewd man, sir, and I applaud your tenacity in the face of such adversity." stated Sylph, "But the better equipped we are, the more likely you are to live. I know you have a business to run, but business is not as normal at the moment. Thank you for considering a discount. You are both brave and understanding." "I assume that goes for all of us." -

Well, being dead for so long did somewhat diminish my focus on the game, but Yeah! We Won! I still don't understand why I suck so bad at playing a Townie for more than one day, but I guess that's something to work at. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

"Thank you friends, we would not have even been capable of fighting him had you not rescued us from his torture session. Thank you too for these gifts. We were unprepared for the magnitude of this invasion and the help you have provided us is wonderful." turning to his party, Sylph said "OK, 30 gold for everyone. Would it be improper of me to ask for those goggles? I think I would benefit from them most." (OoC: Punii should have 1 more of each jelly.) -
I hope they sell phoenix essences in the Market! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
