  1. "Do you know the details of this deal? I think it's time we met the Elder."
  2. "The 'Dragon Lord'? I've never met him, but I believe he is one of the 'Veterans' in charge of Heroica. I'm sorry for his abuse of your kind... Humans often have a difficult time respecting nature. As for Aranoc... I'm perplexed. Unless my party has any other questions which may serve to shed light on this situation, I think it may be time for us to seek an audience with him... unless you feel that such a visit would be unwise."
  3. "Is Aranoc the oldest spider in this forest?"
  4. "Hmm. That was before the first Progg invasion. He hasn't seen his kids since... Hmm. There must be something else. What does Aranoc hold most dearly? Are there any substances of which you know that can induce such a state of rage in a spider as that which Aranoc is currently demonstrating?"
  5. I agree! That seems probable. I'm really impressed and surprised that we're seeing many of series 10's figures now! They look great, especially the many female figs! I absolutely love the Medusa. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. "How recent was the last Elder's death?" queried Sylph, intrigued and concerned.
  7. "WELL THEN..." Stated Sylph, legitimately surprised. "This is... surprising. You two," he said, referring to the young spiders that accompanied them, "are the children of the Elder." "Hmmm... this could be good though. Perhaps we have stumbled upon the source of the Elder's irritation! Could it be, Threed and Aybdo, that the Proggs controlled the Elder by holding his children hostage? We only recently rescued them from the Proggs' icy grasp!"
  8. "Many greetings, Acolytes. I am Sylph Solanum, a Druid, and this is my party from Heroica. Galen, the turbaned human, and Lycan, the werewolf in the skull-mask, are both rogues. Johon, the powerful human who swung the pickax, is a barbarian of sorts. Alex, the armored human, is a Paladin, and Elgar, the green-clad elf, is an Evoker. I'm sure you didn't need to know all that, but I mean to show you we come here in respect of nature, our only goal to repel this aberrant invasion. How can we help your Elder?"
  9. "That's what I thought," mumbled Sylph. "Johon, you know what to do." Order: Galen: Move to H2 Elgar: Move to H2 Alex: Move to H2 Sylph: Move to H2 Lycan: Move to H2 Johon: Do That Thing he Described from J2

  13. "fewawy"=really? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. "Wow. Good work guys." Stated Sylph, impressed by their progress. "Lycan! Catch!" he called as he nonchalantly tossed on of his two fire-bombs to Lycan. Lycan caught it on reflex and looked down at the item and grinned from beneath his skull-mask. "Let's go fishing." suggested Sylph, as he pulled out his remaining bomb. He walked to where Lycan stood, directed his shot, walked to the other corner of their trail, and they threw their bombs together. "Oh, Johon, that thing you did? Do it again!" ordered Sylph, pleased. Order: Galen: Remain at A3 Elgar: Remain at A3 Alex: Remain at A3 Sylph: Give Lycan a Fire Bomb, Throw Fire Bomb at H10 from F6 Johon: Do That Thing he Described from D6 Lycan: Throw Fire Bomb at I2 from f4

  17. "Alright, If Johon's... method doesn't work, toss it a I5."
  18. Bloody blinking blablas! Is everybody here bewitched by banknotes?! For benevolent blokes, it seems a bunch of us are quite banaustic. But of course this is just banter.

  20. Quote Thalion, I, uh, think I might recognize that woman. For the life of me, I can't remember where, but for the time being I think it'd be best if you acted as Party Leader, at least as far as speaking to these people. Don't worry, I'll take over again if we come into battle--just refer to me as the "Party Tactician" if it comes to it. --Arthur Is there a password to this/is it meant for public viewing? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. "Hunger (and hunter's instinct) and malice are different things. If Spiders attack you, it is certainly for the former and very rarely for the latter. Occasionally there are territorial instincts at play too, but those feelings stem from practicality and self preservation, and not from a desire to harm in and of itself. Truly you have little to fear from most spiders though. Those that are small and that do not possess of poison capable of harming human beings would rather hide than attack you. As for the Progg, I have my doubts. If we kill their Princes, the twisted, ancient beings responsible for this invasion, then perhaps we can reason with the remaining, leaderless soldiers. But that is wishful thinking. Those who stand behind their leaders' cruel actions now are unlikely to stand for peaceful actions later. I have little hope that we can avoid killing them all... for the safety of nature and the humans of Luosh, and frankly, the entire world. Those Proggs that stand with us now are of a better kind than those consciously perpetrating the massacre of the innocent people here. I feel that only they, and perhaps those that may join us later or see the error of their ways, are the only Proggs that will see a peaceful solution to this crime."
  22. Will we ever get to see this fabled quest? I didn't know that Waldruk and Nathuz had ever been used. I think it'd be pretty interesting to see, unless some secrets still remain un-known to the public... or it's non-canon. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  23. "Because they are respectable creatures of nature. They possess no man-made drive to kill and conquer. They desire food and shelter. There are very few spiders that experience malice, just as there are few Proggs, to my knowledge, that feel compassion or a tie to the natural world." Stated Sylph grimly.
  24. Boo Temperance! Booze builds and bolsters boisterous and bold benevolence! I brew my own blueberry beer! Beware beer and bubbly-beverage banners, your blocking of imbibing begets the blunting of brilliance! Those bastards boasting abstemiousness brook bashing! I blast your bias! By being bodacious, bringers of benevolence beard their secret identities and embolden the public-body to break-free of brutality and badness. Boo you, bland bum! Might your bold blaspheming be emblematic of buried badness?
  25. "The Proggs, as they are called, are a menace. All but a few of them are ether-born monsters with no sense of morality, sympathy, or naturality. Once we escape this trial, we will free him from whatever power they hold over him." Order: Sylph: Do Nothing (with shovel) Johon: Dig C4 (with shovel) Galen: Dig C3 (with borrowed pickax) Elgar: Dig C2 (with shovel) Lycan: Dig B2 (with borrowed pickax) Alex: Dig A12 (with borrowed pickax)
