Heartlake Heartbreak - Day One: Heart to Heart
Dannylonglegs replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, jeez. I'm not sure whether I'm surprised, or not at all. I'm fairly certain this makes her a townie... about 60% sure which is more than I can say for everyone else. I can't believe the scum would even allow Trisha to screw up so badly; unless she's not listening to her team at all (which is possible considering her age--note the 40%.) That said, while she has done very little for the town by lying or Idon'tevenknowing about a role, the conversation she started was unprecedented for a day one in this sort of circumstance. Also, I really still want clarification from the horse's mouth, so to speak. She really has to explain what happened and what was going through her head. Did she even understand she claimed? If you thought that, why didn't you say that at the time instead of "I'm totally scum. Use it on me! ." I didn't believe it was real at the time either, but I went along with it. A real townie would not have any reason not to entertain the possibility that she was not lying. You never once said anything that could have been reliably tested. In fact, you intentionally did the opposite twice, both times passing it off as a joke when many others were at least willing to try and help. Whether you're "right" or not (I don't believe you seriously voiced your opinions earlier. ) your actions hindered the town, and were, yes, unreasonably stubborn. Vote: Daisy (Scuba) You're a better candidate than anyone else put forward. -
Whoo! Nice find! The game doesn't work on my computer though. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Sylph wondered who the psychologist was speaking to as no one in his party said 'freaks.' So when did the nut take over the nuthouse? -

Oh! Oooh! Oooh! I am! I am! I want to be groomed-up nice and pretty! Maybe that will make me feel better. I'm all out of suger-cubes. -
And my axe! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I jest of course. I agree though! It'd be fun to see! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Hahaha! That'd be great! I wish Lego would make Heroica. Maybe since it's a pretty complex game (for most young kids) and depends on a large group of people to be fun, they could dumb it down a bot and make it like a boardgame or something. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Sylph envenomed his arrows with one of his two venoms."Good work team, glad to have you back Punii. I'm sure we can chat about our experiences in the caves later. For now, let's get ready to take over the med-bay." -
Oh, it is?! Swell! It's a shame it's not the female Orange squady, but I'll take what I can get. It makes sense too, because the red team is also featured in the third cheapest, and therefore, third most likely to be purchased! Good move Lego! Glad to see you care. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Well, if we do get a second wave, there'll likely be different Insectoid figs (or at-least one, to represent the obligatory queen.) I see this theme as similar to Atlantis in a way. They didn't get a 100 dollar set until their second wave. The point in there being a polybag with an Insectoid would be to amass a swarm of them. As it is, the best way to get a swarm will actually get you more blue-robots than buggoids! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
-
Sorry, I meant, featuring an Insectoid minifigure, either the Buggoid or the Mosquitoid. While the set is mostly for the Insectoid faction, it does not come with one of the lovely Insectoid figures. Not that I'm complaining: the minifiigs are one of the best parts of this line (aside from most of the androids, but that's just me) and I'm pleased that two figs that I would not have gotten otherwise, are featured in these sets. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Hey, Fugazi just shared this on the Heroica page, and I was surprised no one brought it up here yet: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30230-1, and http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30231-1 The colour's off, so I can't tell if the Mech features the red or the orange team, but either one is another team I won't be getting likely, so a definite grab fig-wise. The Mech itself is not too bad for a poly-bag and comes with that awesome chair piece. The practicality of this mech in any circumstance aside from being on a walking chair is quite debatable, but the pieces are fine! The "Space Insectoid" features the green team (my favorite, colour-wise) and is therefore a sure grab for me because the set in which he comes is both expensive and not too appealing to me. He also gets a gun, unlike whomever's in the mech. The "Insectoid" doesn't look fantastic, but the face is neat. I don't expect these polybags to be masterpieces or even decent in terms of construction, so no disappointment there. I may actually keep one if the featured space bugs alive as some sort of drone to the main forces. The bug has some pretty nice parts though; the teeth, the viking-horns, the trans-neon green 4-1 tiles, and that smexxy dark-red arm-piece! Overall, these are pretty great polybags. I'll probably get at-least one of each. I may get multiples of the "Space Insectoid." I wish that there was a polybag for the Insectoids though, that would be great for army-building (or, rather, swarm building) Ah well. If the theme lasts for a second wave, maybe we'll see one then... Although, a second wave is unlikely, And if it did happen, it'd probably feature different enemies. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Oh, this is simply awful. What a travesty! My poor Horsey friends, murdered in the prime of their youth. I need some sugar cubes. Eating usually makes me feel better when I'm sad. We'll get those horsey murderers! We must stop their horsey murdering! -
Whoo hoo! Great job! I can't wait to see what Lego does with your suggestion! You really deserved those 10,000, and I'm proud that my brother and I contributed to your cause! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
