Heroica RPG - Quest #48: Death's Homecoming
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Indeed, we will. Well, you won't, but I digress. Alex, you get the Nostrum, Johon, you can have the Smelling Salts, Since Gale gave Hal a Mead and Rome, you can have the other Mead. Alex, you can also have one of my Smelling Salts. Now that the loot's distributed, Let me get the uses straight. Galen: Galen uses a Mead, Nostrum, and Smelling Salts. Applies Deadly Venom to Wrench. Rome: Soma (consider taking Mead.) Hal: Mead Alex: deadly venom, tonic, and mead. (Consider taking my Smelling Salts, the Nostrum, and another Tonic.) Elgar: Johon: Consider using Dragon Scale and Smelling Salts Sylph: Smelling Salts, Elgar's Grand-Tonic, Crumbling Poison "Oh, And I suppose I'll take the Sword Fragment and the paper-work. Rome, Why don't you take the Hide. " -
That is what I will call him from now on. Are you happy now? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"Very well, Galen, I appreciate your generosity. Johon, can I assume you'll do the same? You scored pretty well too. If that's the case, Alex, Rome, Elgar and I get 15 gold each. If not, and it is your choice, each of us get 12 gold." -
I feel like slapping Eidilon: "Your Allies are DEEEAAADDD!!!*" Sylph takes a swig of Trial Brew.** *except The Regret, who I'm sure we'll see pretty soon. **Not Really, I'm actually kinda worried about this fight. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Heroica RPG - Quest #48: Death's Homecoming
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Thank you for the warning, but you'll be pleased to know that we intend to continue on to our fight with Eidolon. We could just kill every enemy Progg on the island, and that might be much easier, but we don't have time for that. This has been a very long day, and I'm ready to finish this. Besides, what's 1,104 years to an emissary of Nature? What's a Monarch's to a God's power? You truly believe he can beat us, but you're wrong. By striking against our band of heroes he has doomed himself to a swifter death than most get, but a far more violent one. His war failed the moment he directed it at Heroica's protectorate--The moment my band and I were picked for this job. He's already lost his strongest allies. You, The Wound and The Bleeding are all dead. So are his two brothers. We've killed over 100 Proggs today. Not one of my party members has died. I'm not boasting. I'm reciting statistics.... Now," Sylph stated, turning to his party, "Who wants The Suffering's Hide? I recommend that all Magic-Users drink Tonics, I'll do so myself... Elgar, could I borrow a Grand-Tonic from you? You seem to be quite well-stocked and full of ether, whereas, I have used up a large portion of my ether. 10 gold to all Party Members, though Galen and Johon certainly don't need it," he chuckled. "and a potion to all party members as well." -
I'm actually ready (next weekend) to start a Quest myself. I haven't officially announced it yet because I don't want to be the boy who cried "Quest," but I'm currently working on finding a way to download Pictures to my computer from my roommate's camera. I'll have more up and an official announcement probably tomorrow. I still need to purchase a set or two (My current Lego collection consists of the Uruk Hai army, and 2 Razcal's Gliders and avery small assortment of Lego pieces/figs I brought from home. ) but after my Lab Practicals I should be ready to go. (And yes, the names are going to be much better than "Autumn Kingdom." ) ~Insectoid Aristocrat

You do realize that if we took them all in groups of about 6, we actually could kill them all. But considering the time that would take, we'd probably be stuck in this quest for another 5 months.... but then again... the XP... Also, you know, that'd sorta be genocide. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
-
You know, we could just kill everyone in his army instead. That'd be much easier. And less Snarky. Without his Army, he'd still be a menace, but he'd be alone. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Some of us here aren't quite so lucky. If you think that was hard, try 5 months with the guy! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Alright! Round two! I would love to play if you'd have me! Apart from two Lab-Practicals this week, I should be clear-to-play (and the Lab-Practicals shouldn't interfere with my playing much either.) 1. I've been in many games at this point, but if you'd like a complete list, my about-me-page is pretty much just that. I was in Forest 2, Heartlake Mafia, your last Mafia, The Viking-line Mafia, and a gaggle in between. 2. It actually looks good. The Mason idea is a great one. 3. That depends on whether or not it's flying. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"Alright, at this rate, cursing him might actually help us." groaned Sylph. "Also, we really need the bastard to start taking damage. Alex? or should I get Lycan? Alex's Luck is important, but if the Lucky effect applies to his special damage rolls, we'll be lucky and it won't do any damage a all." It was a system by which I organized complex battle Orders that depended on certain events occurring or not occurring. I haven't used any recently since the battles haven't been hard enough to warrant it since Endgame doesn't like them and Using Parenthesis usually works just as well. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Damn! Back to the planning room. Funny, I've got one too! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
