Review: 5887 Dino Defense HQ
XimenaPaulina replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Fantastic review Masked! The quality of the pictures are outstanding and it was a great read throughout. Thanks for sharing this. With regards to the set, I was really excited when the news of this DINO theme came out, mostly because I'd like to get those dinosaur figures. Yeah they may look a bit "<insert that tiresome argument>" but I couldn't see any way that TLG could've made them better. Besides, they aren't much different with the Wampa, Taun-taun, Dewback, Castle Dragons, Trolls, etc. in terms of their <insert that tiresome argument> overall look right? Now what I don't like about huge sets like this is the inclusion of <insert that tiresome argument> 'normal' pieces (especially the wall elements), which is understandably a parts-optimization move but somehow diminishes part of the building experience. Still, this is a pretty good new set, though not something I will pick up since the other 3 dinos can be acquired from smaller cheaper sets. I do have a question that I've been really curious about, is the T-Rex in this set the same size as the one in the T-Rex-Helicopter set (5886)? Because from my initial views it seems like the one in this set is larger (?) -
Wow you sure are fast with your CB entry eh? I really like the fact that as simple as the build looks, it really captures the scene very accurately. One of those builds which proves simplicity is beauty.

Gotham City Mafia: Day Two

Wow, I was already impressed with your previous battalion-specific colored AT-RTs, but this Shadow version with the black-with-red-pinstripes is even more badass! Excellent work as always!

Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Remember these crooks people. Can't vote when there are already two good leads? @Mad Hatter: That's the best you could say? You really have been extremely helpful to us since yesterday, without you the criminals would have been in shambles! @Hush: Only two leads?? What were you expecting a hundred?? I think I'll sing along with Creeps, scum or dumb... scum or dumb... Ok better stop now, before the 'Ghost of Colette LeMans' haunts me again... -

Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, well, well, out of the blue, a highly interesting revelation, or should I say a LIE, just greeted me and Mr. Happy Head privately. Mr. Bane makes a bold clam that he is the Criminal Protector/Town Doctor: Reasons why I think this is a false claim: 1. Little does he know that I was already contacted by someone (name withheld for security reasons) yesterday who also claims to be the Doctor. Between the two of them I'm more inclined to believe the first one, who has shown more sincerity in helping the overall cause of the criminals. 2. Suspiciously enough, "Doctor Bane" just approached me when he was put on the Creeps Scum List. What's even more stranger, he is not even the prime suspect of Creeps, who seems to be more suspicious of the Ventriloquist. And just look at how he worded his message, very short, insincere, not carefully-thought-of, and shows no genuine concern for the overall cause of the criminals. 3. Bane claiming that he protected the Riddler and it was successful? LIE! a. With the lack of kills last night, it was clear that the undercover agents did not choose to kill anyone but instead (most probably) recruited someone to join their team. And why do I know this? Because I know for a fact that the lone kill last night, with all the markings in the wall being it a random kill of an inactive useless player, was the work of a clueless vigilante, who I happen to be in contact with also. b. We all know that the scum agents blocked The Riddler's investigative ability, then why would they waste a blocking action when they were targeting to kill him? It doesn't make sense right? 4. And you all know what happened yesterday, when I pointed out Bane's suspicious reason for unvoting/voting: And how unconvincing his counter arguments are yesterday and today: The voting hasn't started yet, but I already know where my vote will go. Again, this will probably put myself on the scum kill list, but somebody has to make a sacrifice and I'm willing to take one for the team if it means we'll weed out a scum agent. I'm off to bed, and hope to see some chaos in the voting when I wake up. -
Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I couldn't retitillate (sorry Clayface, can't help it! ) reiterate it more. I'm actually quite surprised that most criminals are still somehow holding back even if there are already two 'cleared' criminals who they can trust. I appreciate those who have already stepped-up, but it seems there are still those who are just content playing safe or they're just too lazy to coordinate their actions. We're already pushing these scumbags to the edge of their seats right now, so I encourage others, if you really are concerned about the overall cause, to be proactive and work for the common good, so we could weed out them as quickly as possible. -
I couldn't agree more, this is bar none the best opening day experience I had, and to top it off, we lynched a scum! And the most surprising part is I never thought I would have this much FUN playing this game. Thanks to everyone, hosts and co-players alike, for making this a very engaging and highly-entertaining game.

Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah I understand your reasoning Mask (not the Builder! ). I welcome The Riddler to investigate me at random any one of these days, just to assure the criminals that I have not been converted. And even if they do, I have no intention of working with them, I'd just probably agree at first then "sell them out publicly" at the next day, haha. Hear that scummies? I love it when we do this to the scumbag agents. More of mindgames please. -
Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Creeps is right, even if some you still doubt my innocent looks, let's just put our trust in our host that he's telling the truth. Besides, I think I've already done what I could to prove that I am genuinely concerned about the criminal's overall cause, even putting my life on the line. Right now, I would like to focus on working together by coordinating all our actions. There have been some of who have bravely approached me and told their abilities (which I truly appreciate, but still subject for confirmation/verification), so I suggest other concerned criminals do also the same. You could either approach me or Creeps, who himself has somehow proven his allegiance (barring any conversion) by leading us to a successful scum lynch yesterday. Let us all try to be cooperative so we could end this ordeal quickly and go on with our mission of nuking Gotham already. -
Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I know I know, I might be part of that group that might've been converted, but the truth is, I was not. And I'm just relieved now that finally my innocence is cleared. Now I could start focusing more action coordination amongst us criminals, or The Creeper could do that also for us since he has led us to a unprecedented successful Day 1 lynch. -

Baby Doll and Mr. Happy Head are both HAPPY! :classic: Sorry for doubting you Unca' Joker. And pls. don't treat me like a kid, forcing me sitting on your lap is sexual harassment! -

XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I've thought about that possibility also. And I think I've already learned my lesson in "conversion" from the movies that I saw. So that might be a reason for the lack of kills last night. If ever such conversion happened, then wouldn't it be safe to assume that they recruited one of the more "experienced" criminals amongst us? I'm not pointing fingers at anyone specific, just stating out that likely scenario. -

XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So you got a confirmation and I did not? I really hope for the sake of consistency, the hosts will give me some explanation also. But on the brighter side, I think there is still hope that I will be cleared today, even if the chances are slim. I shall remain hopeful, and just wait for the hosts' reply to me. -
Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That is why I asked our hosts, and I'm still waiting for their reply. I don't see any reason why my allegiance won't be revealed unless I was really blocked. Even if I will be pissed off by a failed ability, at least I would have appreciated some type of confirmation from the hosts. -

Gotham City Mafia: Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Unfortunately I don't know what happened, I'm guessing I was most probably blocked last night to make me look like I was a liar. I still have to confirm with our gracious hosts The Joker and The Penguin about this matter, because I was never told I was blocked. From what I've seen in other movies, normally the hosts tell whether one's action was successful or not, but this time in my case I don't know why there was no such confirmation from the hosts. But there might be still the possibility that they will reveal my allegiance within the day? I don't know, that's why I have to ask them. I'll get back to all of you after I've talked to them. And since I've already used that ability, I'll come clean to the true nature of it. It was a skill of mine, which gives me the option to reveal my true allegiance (criminal) on the second day. Obviously I could only use that on Night 1, which I did. My only mistake was I mistook it as unblockable before I made my public revelation, since I thought it was not a "physical action" like kill, watch/track, investigate, protect that can be physically blocked. The Joker confirmed this to me, and it was already late since I've already made public revelation. But still, I stand by what I did since my only interest was to "maximize" that ability to the full extent, that is rallying the criminals as early as possible without waiting for another day. Now if you'll excuse I still have to talk to The Joker to clarify this matter. Promise, I'll get back to all of you later. -
Eurobricks Star Wars Community Build
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Then Oky it is. I assume you'll lead all the three PT CBs right? Yeah probably. But I was actually thinking that the current Clone Wars series has so much potential material to build that we could actually divide it per season. Or another option would be to combine both CW series like you suggested, and have the build period extended more than the usual one-and-a-half month (probably 2-3 months?) to encourage more entries. What are you talking about? -
Gotham City Mafia: Day One
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Fair enough Creeps (I hope that's ok to call you like that ). I understand the doubts, since there is still no confirmation of my true allegiance. I'm HOPING I will be cleared tomorrow, barring any unforeseen events. But I most certainly welcome any investigation to be conducted on me tonight. The Riddler, even if I called you dumb, you may investigate me if you like. Any watcher can also track me, you're all most certainly welcome! But I hope what I did today, as bold and suicidal as it is, will be seen as a genuine concern for the overall cause of the criminals. Just look at the randomness of all the things I did today - voted thrice, unvoted twice, unnecessarily drawing attention, insulting people as dumb, etc. - are all something that a scum undercover agent will not most likely do on the first day. Now to the more important things. I have been in contact with other people with important abilities privately, and right now I guess my pivotal role is to try to coordinate the criminal's actions so we could work cohesively in the coming days. Unfortunately, I'm not so sure I could live to see the light of day tomorrow, and such valuable info could be lost and the criminals will be left as a confused group. So I hope any criminal with a protective ability would be kind enough to offer me a temporary protection, even for the first night only. I would be happy to die in the coming days if I have succeeded in grouping a solid group of criminals. Also, a possible alternative might be protecting The Riddler, if his claim as the investigator is true. Why am I saying this? To keep the guessing game with the scumbag agents. Who shall they kill tonight? The Doll or The Riddler? Who will the doctor protect? Haha, mind games my friends, mind games... -
Gotham City Mafia: Day One
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The logic behind your vote is noted my friend. You unvote The Riddler and then vote for someone else other than Catwoman, which would most probably lead to The Riddler still getting lynched because he still leads in the voting. So why unvote in the first place? Somehow I read this as a half-assed move. Sorry for the derogatory term, I don't know if you're onion-skinned behind your tough persona Mr. Bane. Eh (40s baby?), now that the Joker has updated the voting tally, looks like The Riddler has dodged the bullet. But Bane's unvote motive is still something I'll write in my diary to look into in the future. -
Gotham City Mafia: Day One
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
At first it was merely a joke on you, as I respect the HIGH INTELLECT of The Riddle. But you revealing your role publicly (if it's true) when there's STILL a BIG CHANCE that people can unvote for you and save your green big behind - now that's capital DUMB. So I guess I was right afterall. Indeed he has. First by acting scummy publicly when he could've just asked me privately to get the precious info that he desperately wanted, and risking his claimed imprortant investigative role. THEN he does his facepalm-worthy public revelation of his important role when there's still HOPE for him. I might as well pop up the celebratory champagne for the undercover agents, which I presume are collectively "laughing their megablocks out loud" right now seeing all these chaos and confusion among the criminals. OOC: Learn to differentiate the game from real life. Baby Doll and The Creeper calling other players dumb DOES NOT EQUATE to KDM and def insulting real people. -

OOC: Dude, didn't you read the sentence beside it?? That's just a JOKE! Why so serious??? Sheez.... I can't stand people who can't take some light-hearted FUN. I might as well die in this game. And if it makes you feel better (sok117) Nygma: Unvote: The Riddler (sok117) Vote: Catwoman (CallMePieOrDie) Happy now kids? And for the record The Riddler, I still stand by what I said to you privately: I would re-iterate, always THINK and DO what's in the BEST INTEREST of the TEAM kiddos. -

ONE: TWO: THREE: FOUR: The Riddler gives us clever riddles and apparently he also is an expert in mathematics. We should probably give him a new monicker:
