  1. Oh brother, way to bump a two-year old topic. What's really the point of posting here if there is already a dedicated topic for the minifig wishlists? I really don't get it.. I normally don't want to attack someone, but this type of posting has becoming a bit tad annoying in the past couple of days.
  2. Ok challenge accepted! Hope someone adjudicates for the two most active adjudicators right now.
  3. Impressive customs as always tin7! You never really fail to amaze us with your wonderful creations. Iron Man and War Machine are definitely winners, but even the minor characters are very well-done. Keep it up!
  4. I'm sorry but I have to go with Cad Bane here. (Oh yeah, and I'm not a 9-year old ) I'm really going against the huge legion of Boba Fett fans all over the SW universe, but I'm basing my vote from what I saw in the movies/series. The only image that I have with Boba is getting an already Carbonite-frozen Han on the Slave I (not even working his megablocks off to capture him), and his unimpressive duel before his demise on the Sarlacc pit (Lucas only 'tried to save him' to satisfy disappointed Boba fans). That's it, I'm really not impressed with Boba (based on the movies and don't give me crap on the other made-up stories of Boba in the books just to make him look 'cool'). And then we have Cad Bane, who had lots of exposure in the CW series to show his rather impressive tactical and fighting skills. How's this for his resume: Got into the the Senate rather easily, held a group of senators as hostage, managed to hold the Chancellor on the neck, breach inro the Jedi Temple (of all freakin' places) and steal the Holocron, got Vader to open it, and escape two High Council Jedi in Mace(!) and Obi(!) making both of them look silly. So how's that for tactical and fighting skills? Boba, and even Jango, was no way near the abilities shown by Bane in the series. Lastly, I really don't understand what OT/PT fans have against CW fans. Saying CW fans a bunch of 9-year olds is just plain rude. I am not even 9 (28 to be exact), but I manage to respect all the OT/PT/CW and even the EU for that matter. I am a general SW fan afterall, and I don't limit myself with old OT stuff. I say respect the past, present, and future of what the world of SW will bring to us. Sorry for that small rant, just tired of hearing anti-CW sentiments and finally letting myself heard regarding this matter.
  5. "Oh I have a bad feeling about this.." - OT fans If ever this rumor is true, this is bad news for OT fans who are expecting more OT sets in the 2011 second wave and they'll just get an Endor BP? I really doubt the reliability of the source of this list. Though it's not impossible, TLG just won't give us 4 BPs in a year, yeah maybe those two might not be BPs but some sort of Battle of Endor or Battle of Geonosis sets, which makes more sense. Granting this is true, one thing I'm interested to know more about is the Battle of Geonosis set (hope it comes with a Ki-Adi), this will go well with the Geonosis fighter and existing LAAT/c, LAAT/i, and AT-TE to create a Landing at Paint Rain diorama, sweet!
  6. Interesting! I might give this a go for my first SW contest entry. Got to get my thinking cap on now.
  7. Those two alternates for the Ice Cutter look good sok! They are even better-looking than their predecessor. I especially like the second one since it can accommodate three Hoth rebels. BTW, get well soon!
  8. No worries, it's understandable since you didn't know the backstory. When I actually first saw this pink astromech in the CW movie I immediately fell in love with it. After a bit of researching, I was really touched on the story behind it. That is actually one of the main reasons why I wanted TLG to release this astromech fig. It's a good way to commemorate the young girl to which R2-KT is dedicated. Maybe they could even sell these figs and all proceeds can go to a cancer fund or charity. I'm pretty sure many fans would love to have this special minifig and at the same time help in a good cause. EDIT: Just found out that they even have a website for R2-KT --> r2kt.com Truly inspiring and noble cause. I think this is one way in which TLG can involve FOLs in contributing something to the community.
  9. Interesting... That could pass as a normal fashionable jacket that one could actually use outside without screaming SW geek/fanboy (without the medal of course) . If not only for the steep price...
  10. Like what I brought up in the Future Star Wars sets topic, a promotional limited-numbered R2-KT..
  11. Hmmm.. That would be interesting to find out, although I think the Death Watch Mandos didn't have those accessories on their helmets, so the BP might not include the ARC gear pack(s). The only reason those accessories were included in the new Slave 1 is because Boba's helmet needs the comm. antenna piece.
  12. No point in debating anymore as KimT has already merged this topic with the Future Star Wars sets (rightfully so). So let the wishful thinking continue...
  13. Don't you think when this topic you started becomes 100+ pages also then TLG will also have a hard time going through them? I understand your intentions are pure and all, but these two topics that you started are very similar to the Future Star Wars sets topic, which is dedicated to all the fans' wishful thoughts, whether they be sets, characters, vehicles, etc. And it's not for us to decide on this matter, but the higher ups in this forum, KimT and Stash.
  14. Congrats C-Fox, it was a pretty good duel. I consider it a good loss since it was a relatively close contest and Diana at least didn't lose all health points. Until we meet again Gryffindor... Ahh! Why can't I beat a fellow practitioner?!? I'm already 0-5 against you guys. But somehow I feel good in my next duel... "Carlos Peerce, my fellow Slytherin, I challenge you! I'm looking forward for my first victory over a practitioner and handing you your first loss, pretty boy..." - Diana
  15. Thanks darth yogi! Simply because it's not! Thanks for the comments.
  16. Hello, Welcome to Eurobricks kinght II! I'm really happy to know more and more of my fellow Asians joining our community. I hope you enjoy your stay here. See you around!
  17. Ah, finally you noticed these two topics which are essentially the same as the Future Star Wars sets. I didn't bring up this point since I didn't want to mini-mod, but I really think it would be better if these two topics are just merged with the Future Star wars sets.
  18. Whoaw! Easy on the letters kid. Anyway, welcome to Eurobricks! Any favorite themes?
  19. Welcome to the forums Mark! I hope you and your two boys will be able to enjoy your stay here in Eurobricks. What are your (and your sons') favorite theme(s) if I may ask?
  20. I took closer look at the clear prelim pics, it does look like the speeder Mando can't accomodate a jetpack, so that's one reason. The other one without the jetpack is the Mando manning the gunner station thingy. So only the two 'free' Mandos have jetpacks, which kinda makes sense if you consider the whole composition of the BP.
  21. Another nice creation Leo-J! I also love the greebles/details at the background, very well-done.
  22. Very neat design BrickWild! It's good to see you've improved the passenger chairs with the round roof. I would love to see this in real brickbuild, and some video showing its function.
  23. Impressive work Klementina, you're good milady! I like the distinct details you've put in the figure, like the ribbon for the uniform tie, pauldron for the hair ribbon, and the net for the netbag.
  24. Thanks for the info, but pls. avoid quoting the whole length of the review.
  25. I agree, TLG can't (and won't) give us everything we want. It's like giving each clone trooper the ARC accessories in the last Clone Walker BP. It's a form of variation among the four Mandos, though it's a slight inaccuracy since the Death Watch Mandos all have jetpacks. We just have to be content that we'll get two jetpacks per BP.
