Hi, I'm Teo, here's my best MOC up to now
XimenaPaulina replied to Teazza's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to Eurobricks Teo! That is trully a really great MOC you've done there. I suggest you post this on the Town subforum for proper exposure and recognition. And this topic might also help you in deeplinking your photos in your posts instead of attaching them. Well, have fun here and see you around! -
MOC: Toy Story Little Green Army Men
XimenaPaulina replied to exon_from_youtube's topic in LEGO Town
It's interesting to see the TS Army Jeep in black, but I still prefer the classic military green color. Still nice work on this MOD exon! -
Another nice presentation of your newly-acquired Brickarm weapons cralegoboy, that small army certainly looks like a competent group of military personnel.
-
Well, congrats on your first topic Praiter Yed, no need to be nervous since you brought something new and unique to the table with your SW poem (first time I've read one actually ).
-
I really like these purist customs you've made cralegoboy, I think you chose the right mix of minifig parts to depict each character together with their brand-new Brickarms weapons. A really good job I must say!

Very interesting development on this new CITY Space subtheme, thanks for sharing these pics Brickviller! Thay all look great IMO, it's nice to see these being remade again, it's like a breath of fresh air once more. I think the must-buys for me here are the Shuttle and the Space Van sets.

Nice LDD MOC IAmWillGibson! This minilab is surely reminiscent of the ones we see in Frankenstein movies. I love the trans-light green detail, that is supposed to be an electric current right?
-
Very nice collection of WWII Canadian Troops Ratshot! They surely look good in huge numbers. Kudos to you for giving them different faces unlike other army-builders who are content on having 'same-faced armies'.
-
Thanks for these wonderful hi-res pics Steff! (Though these are way too large as per EB's guidelines, links would have been preferred). I agree with LT, the printing details just get better and better each year, I thought only the Bomb squad Troopers have leg prints, even the Clone Commander has! And Seasee's head prints are just great, though many would still poke fun at his CW face, but it's still ok, better to have one than none. The V-Wing astromech is a must-have, and the BARC, though a bit bulky in front, looks promising in terms of MODding.

Yep that's me, with her.

Nice shots General! Looks like home plants are now being extensively used as Endor photo settings recently. At least you used real plants. (Just kidding Admiral! ) But why does the Biker scout has black legs?

Great job on this melded hairpiece Omi! The end product is seamlessly done as there are no visible traces that it came from two pieces. I also have plans experimenting on melding two different headgear pieces together for a future custom, I hope I achieve something as flawless as yours. PS: I can't help but notice, is that sword a custom Lego piece? Looks really good.

Great hoverbike MOC -zenn! I really like the overall shape with all those proturding wedges. The white color is perfect for its frostbite monicker. The use of that helmet in front is a very unique detail too. Very good job!
-
Nice LDD MOC Praiter Yed! Quite funny use of the Rebel Troop Carrier as a Christmas Gift Cart! And I never knew you were such an inspired poet. Good job!

Happy Birthday guys! Have fun on your special day!

So both 'whackers' are on a deadlock right now, as the polls are tight as ever. Get well soon Jammie, looking forward for your grand revenge. Seems like Oky has stocked up his 'ammunition' and ready to unload anytime. Can't wait for the whacking-off to get rolling again. The masses need to be entertained.

I think only the mods/admins can delete/lock/move topics. So when one sees this he/she might move this together with the first topic.

Everyday Life in the Galaxy Contest Winners
XimenaPaulina replied to KimT's topic in Watto's Junkyard
That's certainly most gracious of you Mos_Eisley! A truly honorable gesture even in victory. My hats off to you Sir, not only for your MOCing expertise, but also for your generosity. And I think you'll be needing another SW contest winner tag/badge different from your first one. BTW, I think your lead for the top spot was pretty safe since the early goings of the voting. And I believe the top three were miles away from the other entries in terms of voting. Congratulations once again! -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Anyone up for a duel? Ms. Fabray needs to get back on her winning ways. -
I believe this has already been discussed for the past couple of days in the Gen. Discussions Thread. Thanks for sharing anyway.

I must say that's a very good job fusing those two pieces together Cygnet. I understand how hard it is to saw those two different pieces and making them fit together, and the end result is quite seamless. Maybe you should just use a simple clear superglue to join them, using the minimum amount as possible. Once the glue has set, maybe you could color the 'glue space' with the color of the bandana or that of the hair to remove any visible glue.

Posing Test - Archer's Pose
XimenaPaulina replied to Cygnet's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I see what you're trying to achieve here Cygnet, and I think it's quite recognizable as an Archer pose in that perspective shot of yours. Nice idea and clever execution. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Sorry if I'll reply to a bit-off-topic, but here's my 2 cents on this matter. I believe purchasing from BL/eBay is simply the most practical way of getting a complete set of 16 instead of random buying at your local stores. I got my Series 1 back then @ $2 each = $32 for the complete set + $8 shipping = $40. Not bad right? I'm pretty sure one will spend more if they randomly buy these figs. -
Of course any additional review of custom Lego parts and pieces are certainly welcome here in the MCW forum. Your past reviews have been very informative especially to some of us who might not have been aware of those custom pieces. Other articles such as interviews are welcome too, as long as they are MC-related. Regarding contests, I believe you have to coordinate with LuxorV regarding that matter, since the MCW hosts its own contests and I haven't seen off-site contest announced here. It would also be interesting to see some of your custom works here Cygnet, as well as a link to your blog.
