  1. Great little ship. I really like it and the colors you have used are really nice. The only concern I have is that (like others have said) the sails look way to big for the ship.
  2. Simple and deadly
  3. That is a really nice MOC. There are so many cool details. I really like the umbrellas and the droid leg railing. The colors a excellent...I am just not sure I like that much hair in my ice cream.
  4. A very nice representation of a very historically significant event. Nice job.
  5. Not very much new money. Most everything is coming out of my collection. The only things I had to buy are hinges, flags, more 2x black plates and 2 x 4 black bricks.
  6. Thanks. Hmmm. I am pretty happy with all my various positions and titles thanks. I like to let my Redcoat armies and navies promote my interests.
  7. Redcoat all the way! Here are the latest pictures of the fleet.
  8. Great MOC. A very underutilized architectural style that really turned out beautifully. You have it displayed very nicely with lots of wonderful details.
  9. Very nice. Great colors too.
  10. I start sorting and organizing bricks when I get stuck. First it is a productive use of time. Second I see elements I haven't thought of or used in a while and sooner or later some element will trigger an idea and I end up building an entire moc around one little detail that captured my imagination. I think sorting also helps me because it is a non creative exercise. Its more analytical/organizational and you use a different part of your brain. The creative part just switches back on when it gets that spark of an idea. Good luck.
  11. I look forward to seeing what you do with those new bricks. Merry Christmas!
  12. That is just plain awesome!
  13. That's great! I think you could look at the pictures of this MOC all day and still find new things you didn't see before. Amazing job with all the details and activity. It kind of reminds me of a college party I went to once...a long time ago
  14. I enjoyed that and it was very well done. I am looking forward to future chapters.
  15. Very cool. The reeds and sheep and donkey are all really great new touches for you. I have to say though using the tan torsos for sacks is hillarious. When I look at them and force myself to see them as sacks they really do look like sacks but as soon as I let my guard down they are dismembered torsos!
  16. Great project. Just go slow and steady and you'll get there. My grandfather flew many missions in a P-47 Thunderbolt over the beaches of Normandy on D-Day.
  17. I don't know they already look surrounded by redcoats in that picture The way you can tell Captain Green Hair and Captain Blue Hair are the same person is that he always has the same black heart!
  18. Nice army. I always like to see the Redcoat's expanding our power base. Welcome to the site I hope you enjoy your time here and post lots of pictures...when you figure out how . There is a tutorial somewhere. edit here: pictures
  19. I am old, grouchy and my gun safe is five feet wide so yeah I'd have so say they do better with their keyboards.
  20. 36 and my knees aren't what they used to be. To much rugby and that skiing accident where I tore my acl didn't help either...that was 15 years ago so most of you weren't even born....that's weird...maybe we need an old folks home forum here on the site
  21. Truely fantastic! I love the scale (your decks are twice as wide as the decks of the Venerable). It has wonderful color and detail. I can't believe how you have tiled the decks. Very dark and dangerous. It flys the right flag too!
  22. Very nice!
  23. Another great interview! You picked one of my favorite builders as your subject. Great job and thanks to Derfel Cadarn for sharing. I enjoyed listening to what you had to say on many subjects regarding your building process and sources of inspiration.
  24. Looks fantastic. I can't wait to see more of this huge ship! I like the idea of doing the waterline version of a brickbuilt hull. I have had similar thoughts recently.
  25. I don't know who you "people" are trying to fool or what little games you think you playing but the truth of all this is as plain as the color of your uniforms. This is another Bluecoat trap but a clever Redcoat has exposed your childish scheme before you could spring it on us. Redcoats beware the tricks of the map peices...Redcoats Rule!
