  1. While we're at it, David Jones has a 20% off sale running through June 20, so new sets should show up by then one would hope. And free shipping for over $50. Sorry Americans.
  2. Yes. The poster even says so themselves.
  3. The butterbeer mug that came with Ron and Hermione in the second Harry Potter CMF series is now in 76388, and available for purchase. Design number 68495. However one with green inside comes in 76386 and isn't listed on BnP.
  4. Ah yep, inventories have been added but not seeing anything I particularly want listed yet. No animals including no sheep from the Mickey Farm, and no cool hairpieces from Friends yet. Not unheard of that they'll be added later, though not being listed at all is a bad sign, but disappointing for now. No trans-green butterbeer cup listed either, despite the trans-orange one being available.
  5. Impatiently waiting for inventories for the new June 1st sets to pop up on B&P. I want to know if all of those animals are going to become available, and how much!
  6. I don't think LEGO ever does pre-orders in Australia. Their supply line is too messy and uncertain. But, the set will show up and be available once it does. It's no 501st
  7. Could be wrong but I think the pie piece is a decorated element, not dual-moulded, so the middle section couldn't be done in trans or the crust would be trans as well.
  8. Yeah, you can have this discussion in the 2021 thread:
  9. We've actually locked the Marvel threads around certain major releases before. Around the time a film comes out is one thing. We deal with that as we need to. This is a full SIX MONTHS before said film is due to be released. If you think this conversation has to be had about leaked details right and here and right now (when the sets aren't even available anyway), so sorry for you. Continue discussing this and the discussion will be had outside of this topic.
  10. Yep. I've spelled it out extremely clearly. Stop discussing it already! You've been a member of EB since 2016. This isn't new information.
  11. Everything you listed is official promo material and I already said that's fine. ALL of you who read the full plot and information leaks KNOW 100% that that stuff is a leak and interviews and teaser clips aren't. Don't play dumb about it. People that want to know absolutely nothing about an upcoming film, including what's been released officially, will need to stay away from this topic themselves. But as Mods our goal is to keep this discussion accessible for the majority, who do watch trailers and look at the LEGO sets, but don't delve into the full plot leaks stuff. And don't forget, us Mods are people too who may enjoy these films and don't want to read leaks, so the second this topic goes full spoiler tag or someone slips up, we also get things spoiled for us that we didn't want spoiled.
  12. Discussing what's in the sets: fine. Discussing what's in trailers and official promo material as it relates to the sets: fine. Discussing blatant plot leaks from Reddit etc: not fine in this topic.
  13. I seem to recall some parts from the LEGO Movie 2 CMF making it on without appearing in sets. If you specifically mean CMF-exclusive moulds, I'm not sure, but pretty certain some parts in exclusive colours and prints.
  14. It doesn't take long for someone to slip up and post spoilers openly, or for some people to think they're "not spoiling anything" when to others they are. This movie is not even close to coming out, it's many months away, so there's no rush to discuss everything you've seen in leaks. We've taken a pretty firm stance before - no discussing the finer plot details until everyone has had a fair chance to see the movie. Nemo already posted about, now stop arguing. Don't discuss the leaks here, that's that.
  15. This is the list on Bricklink of reddish brown Minifigure heads with female printing - type "female" into the Find field (it's not copying for some reason). https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?pg=1&catXrefLevel=0&colorPart=88&catType=P&catID=238&v=1 But like you've ready discovered from the sounds of it, they are all pretty pricey because they're still quite few and far between, and thus desirable to lots of people!
  16. I thought the only hairpiece created specifically for Obi-Wan was the one they used on his Clone Wars seasons 1 and 2 appearance (such as in the Clone Wars Republic Gunship). The one they used for that one later-seasons Obi-Wan and his Episode 3 appearance is one they created to use on any number of characters.
  17. Having your opinions is one thing, but directly and aggressively insulting other members is something we don't tolerate on Eurobricks. You called for us to ban you yourself; I think it's time.
  18. This discussion (besides the quick Bible/religion tangent in which I'm guilty of participating) is on topic for this set. It can stay here. All in all I have been pleasantly surprised at the overall civility and hope that nobody ever feels unsafe on Eurobricks. Staff definitely want to ensure that it's a good place for everyone.
  19. Yes agreed with others that talking about Bible stories is way too far off topic. Someone feel free to start a new topic! (There aren't that many posts in here to move really). But as one final aside, someone has done lots of the Bible in LEGO: https://thebrickbible.com/ Now, back to Everyone Is Awesome.
  20. There are LOADS of iconic scenes throughout the Old and New Testaments, but obviously LEGO isn't going to make them. Ok gotcha, I hear what you're saying, and yes agreed this new set is more overt in its message. I just wanted to dispel the notion that they don't make anything at all tied to religion.
  21. Typo! Great couple of films though (the third one not quite as much). Look, I'm not saying LEGO doesn't stop at a particular line. They certainly do. But those things I mentioned are still tied to Christianity and most likely not welcome in the homes of other religious communities, even if the people of another religion consider themselves secular. I can't keep repeating the same point so I'll drop it after this. It sounds like you're not reading my points anyway. Something universally secular could potentially be found in every community and country in the world. Coca-Cola for example, that's universal, and obviously secular. Advent and Santa and the Easter bunny are nowhere to be found within most non-Christian communities. They are absolutely tied to one particular religion despite having no religious significance themselves.
  22. Indeed it is. Those "secular symbols" are only "secular symbols" in Christian countries, and specifically denote the Christian holiday occuring at that time of the year. They are not universally secular, just secular within a Christian context.
  23. Christianity is already very well represented as per my post I was writing at the same time.
  24. It doesn't matter if there are overt Christian symbols or not. Advent Calendars are inextricably linked to Christmas. Santa Clause sets are inextricably linked to Christmas. Easter Bunny sets are, guess what... inextricably linked to Easter. There are huge populations in the world that don't celebrate Christmas and Easter and for whom therefore those things (Santa, Advent, Christmas Tree, Easter Bunny) are not part of their life. There are minority populations within the countries where those things are prevalent who don't as well. That many irreligious people have adopted practices of having a Christmas tree and an Easter Egg hunt doesn't divorce those symbols from the particular religious framework from which they originated. However, you never see people who don't subscribe to those practices complaining that LEGO is ramming Christianity down our throats or overlooking all of the other world religions.
  25. I've capped off our reviews of new for June 2021 Harry Potter sets with The One That's Not at Hogwarts - 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit. It's as good as it looks, besides for one devastating flaw. Click to read the review and find out what that is!
